REPAIRS TO ROAD AND ROAD MARKING PAINT AT VIRIOUS

M & L for repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water and scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc cutting around edges atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal , watering and well ramming and applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen, bituminous premixed carpet 2 cm consolidated thickness with 0.27 Cum of stone chipping mixed with 14.60 Kg of binder per 10 Sqm of surface area rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient and applying premix sand seal coat ( 6.8 Kg of binder and 0.06 Cum of sand ) and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, rolled to a uniform smooth surface, depth of pot holes n exc 30mm complete all as specified and as directed

M & L for preparing on existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly priming / tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5.5 Kg / 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for laying design mix bituminous premix semi denseasphaltic dense concrete 25 mm (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-30 grade, laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using power roller 8 to 10 tone capacity complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing black top surfaces by brushed to remove dust, loose dirt etc and applying thermo plastic road marking paint of white / yellow colour strips 125mm wide, 2mm thick with applicator machine and heated mixer with stirring mechanisum at temperature of 160 degree C conforming to BS-3362 Part I and II of 1988 laid uniformally as directed and as per manufacturers instructions. S & F reflective pavement marker ( road stud ) of make 3M shall be in accordance with MORTH’s circular No. RW/NH 33023/10/97-DO-III dated 11th June 1997. The RPM have to be plastic body moulded from ABS, polycarbonate with superior mechanical properties. The marker will support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. Reflective panels shall be single or dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection Lens shall be moulded of methecrylate conforming to ASTM-D 788 or equivalent. The lens shall be electronically welded with RPM body. Slope of retro reflecting shall be 35.5 degree to base minimum area of each retrolective surface should not be less than 13 sqcm, marker height shall not exceed 20 mm and width not to exceed 130 mm and base shall be flat within 1.3mm. Markers shall be fixed with screw complete all as specified and directed
