Urgent Mechanical repairs/replacement works to 80mm Dia Rising main at WSS Naqashband Colony

Repairs/replacement of 80mm Dia GI Rising main Pipe by the way of following works: - a) Replacement of damaged 80mm Dia GI Rising main Pipe by way of providing, fitting and laying at site new 80mm Dia GI/MS pipes (B-Class) with Table-17 flanges welded at both the ends of pipe (total length of pipes is 42meters each pipe 6-meter long i.e 07 No. pipes) as per site requirement. The Pipe shall conform to IS 1239, 2005 part1, the acceptable makes are Jindal/ Surya Prakash / Bushan / Tata/ JTL. The job includes dismantling/ removal of existing damaged pipes and then shifting of the damaged extracted pipes to WSS Zakura-1st in load carrier to be provided by the firm. The job includes cost on account of skilled labour, labour, DG-Set, welding machine, transportation charges, shifting charges of damaged pipe, flanges, washers, nuts & bolts, tools & tackles, head load for carrying pipes and machines upto two spots as per site requirement etc. and is to be provided by the firm for completion of the full job. b) Repairs to 80mm dia GI rising main pipe line of at damaged places by way of identifying the leakage spots and welding around the rising main pipe in two layers using reputed make electrodes as per site requirement. The job includes minor earth work excavation as per site requirement by manual means for providing sufficient space for welding/repairing near leaking spot. The excavation shall be executed in such a way so as to prevent damage to the existing nearby underground pipes and underground cables if any. Any damage to such cables or pipe lines shall be the responsibility of the firm. After completing the job the rising main is to be tested on full load for checking of leakage if any. The cost on a/c of skilled labour, welding machine, head load, arrangement of D.G set at site for welding and lighting purpose for late hour working, transportation/carriages & tools and tackles needed at site etc.is included in the job and is to be arranged by the firm. (02 Jobs) c) P/F of 3-inch long M16 bolts with nuts (as per IS:1363 Part Ist) (30Kgs) d) Providing of good quality 80mm dia rubber washer of reputed make as per the choice of Engineer incharge (as per IS: 638/79) to be used between flanged joints (48 No’s).
