Material and labour for conducting ‘B’ check of DG sets of various capacities installed at the following locations to carry out maintenance/servicing as given below all as directed:- (i) Change of diesel filter/oil filter,top up/replacement of engine oil, coolent if required. (ii) Check and clean engine, alternator battery,instrument panel, elect panel, Timer, Contactors ,Meters and others etc. (iii) Tightening of all nuts& bolts of DG set and its accessories. (iv) Check for any diesel lekage from any point and rectify if observed. (v) Check and adjust fan belt tension, replace the fan belts if found damaged. (vi) Check leakage of smoke from exhaust system/silencer,Repair if required. (vii) Check electrical connections of engine .The wiring shall be maintened properly and engine starting system from engine instrument panel is to be kept in order (viii) Check and tighten the AVM pads nuts and bolts,change AVM pads if found damaged.AVM to be provided by contractor. (ix) Check exhaust pipe,flange and lagging Repair if found damaged.

(x) Check output of alternator ,if found OK adjust the same to specified values in case of brush type. (xi) Checking of all hoses and cleanup,change/tighten if required. (xii) Checking of all hoses and cleanup if required.Also changing air filter elements,if required. (xiii) Oiling,Greasing and checking for proper & smooth functioning. etc and refitting, testing on load complete (Note :- New spares/parts/oils/coolant required for replacement will be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule.)

Material & Labour for taking out Radiator of DG set 62.5 KVA to 100 KVA for repair, welding, brazing, leak testing & refixing to DG set to its original position after cleaning of radiator with soda & acid including replacement of hose pipes, clamps, fins, vibration pad with alignment of the base, nuts, bolts, packing materials and testing complete all as directed..

Material & Labour for taking out Radiator of DG set 160 KVA for repair, welding, brazing, leak testing & refixing to DG set to its original position after cleaning of radiator with soda & acid including replacement of hose pipes, clamps, fins, vibration pad with alignment of the base, nuts, bolts, packing materials and testing complete all as directed..

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron earth strip of size 32x6mm by means of galvanized iron or steel bolts nuts check nuts and washers and other end connected with earthing testing point including providing suitable testing points as directed including funnel, watering pipe of 20mm bore, light grade galvanized iron pipe, wire mesh charcoal of coal dust and common salt in alternative layer all around the earth electrode compacted thickness 15cm with concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 50mm thick pre cast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover slab set in CM (1:4) re-enforcement with 8mm dia deformed bars @ 15cm C/C and suitable handle of 10mm dia MS round bars, including earth work in hard/dense soil as required complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part I and testing on completion all as specified and as directed. (Note: GI Earthing lead upto 7.5m in length is deemed to be included in the unit rate. The lead required beyond 7.5m shall be measured and paid for separately)
