| 3CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM WORKS Schedule 'A' Part-II (Section-I) | |||||
| 3.01 | Design, Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of Central Heating Plant using oil fired Glycol based Hot water generator (Kerosene/ HSD oil as fuel) suitable for operation at 50Hz, Three phase 4 wire, 433/230 Volts, AC Supply, complete for maintaining the temperature inside the building at 22°C± 2°C during winter. The location of plant in Srinagar (J&K). The temperature of building should be maintained as per the data sheet given in Notes & Specifications at ambient temperature upto (-) 10 degree at the height of 1585 mtr above MSL .
Tentative Capacity of Plants is as follows :
Central Heating Plant for 28 Down Building (G+2) and Non Transit Building (G+2) - Boiler Capacity for both Buildings of 02 Nos x 150000 Kcal/Hr (working) alongwith 01 No x 150000 KCal/Hr (stand by) in case of peak winters standby boiler will also be operated to cater the additional load )
Note :-Total 3 Nos boilers with pumps, piping, valve etc as required for two Biuldings living area only with common plant room. | 1 | Each Job | - | - |
| 3.02 | CHS Plant shall be comprised of boilers (2 Nos Working + 1 No Stand by), glycol solution centrifugal circulation pumps, flue gas exhaust pipe connected to chimney as per latest CPCB norms (01 No with Each Boiler) , expansion tank, glycol fluid tank, underground bulk oil storage tank (not less than 2 KL), day oil storage tank (not less than 990 Ltrs), transfer gear oil pump kerosene oil (01 No Working),. Kerosene/HSD oil piping of suitable size with necessary accessories, hot glycol fluid piping of suitable size with suitable insulation and necessary accessories, suitable valves, Fan Coil Units for heating of Halls,/rooms, to be provided, in addition to this; the bulk oil tank capacity of 2000 litres is sufficient for this capacity system, 1st fill of glycol charge (The mixture of water and glycol shall have freezing temperature of minus (-) 15 deg Celcius), LT Panel with necessary safety control system with all accessories including all necessory electric connection and water connection with the equipment (cables shall run in Cable tray of suitable size), danger notice plate, “ No Smoking " and “ Flammable” sign board as per requirement of Petroleum Rules and CCOE) and all other necessary items in coded rates.
Notes :
(a) The tenderer is required to work out their rates/price and quote their rates based on their design.
(b) All the equipment & accessories should be as per appropriate codel provisions.
(c) The rates quoted by the tenderer for the work deemed to include the provision of following:- | - | - | - | - |
| 3.03 | (i) Necessary PCC/RCC foundation for Chimney, Pumps, Boilers, Tanks and other equipments as specified by the OEM (ii) Submission of whole scheme of CHS including Boiler and pump capacity design, Radiator capacity design, piping design from plant to the room for circulation of Glycol mixture and technical specification shall be duly vetted by IIT (not by professor/designer in his individual capacity) within 90 days form date of commencement of work for approval of Accepting Officer. The invoice of the payment made to institute for vetting the whole scheme to be submitted to the Department.
(iii) All the Electric Panels shall be as per suitable ingress portection Code and CPRI type test certified. All the equipment & accessories should be as per appropriate codal provisions.
(iv) All the miscellenous and other items, if any required, as per OEM's Design.
(v) Piping to be laid shall be as per best engineering practice. Cost of cutting road/path/culvert or making underground duct for pipes etc including making good to the disturbed surfaces matching with existing shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (vi) All the makes of the equipments for Hot Water Generator shall be Thermax, Ecoflam Western,Riello, Glycol Pumps Wilo Groundfoss, Armctrong FanCoil Units Carryar, Carrier, BlueStar, Diaken. other items shall be as per the approved makes of products as listed in respective Appx of perticular specifications.
(vii) Distance between CHS Plant Room Building No.A1 = 10 RM, Building No. B = 30 RM | - | - | - | - |
| 3.04 | Additional Details for two identical Buildings ie 28 DN and Non Transit Building Gr +2 (02 blocks):-
(a) Size of rooms and windows for each building Floor wise windows with Wodden Frame with 4 mm glass s as following:-
1. Hall Size 17.2 Mtrs X5 mtr Height 2.7 Mtr two halls on each floor
2. Windows of size 1170 mm x 500 mm = 20 Nos Each Hall
(b) Size of wooden Door made as following:-
D1 = 1180 mm x 2070 mm = 2 Nos Each Block (c) External wall : External Wall thickness is 230mm (Brick Wall). External wall plaster in two layers, First Layer 10 mm thick in CM 1:6 and second layer 5 mm thick in CM 1:4.
(d) Internal wall : Internal wall plaster 15 mm thick in CM 1:6. (d) Roof Slabs on Ground Floor/ Fst Floor and Ply wood Cealing under the truss (consultant should consider insulation if required)
(f) Floor: Tiles on floors
(g) Bldg Elevation : As Showing in Drawing
(h) Room Size : As showing in Drawing
(j) Material of Ceiling at Roof Top : Ceiling of top floor is Ply -board 4mm thick
(k) Design Parameters:-
(i) Min Outside design condition : (-) 10° C,
(ii) Max Outside design condition : (+) 35° C ,
(iii) Inside design condition : 22°C± 2°C ,
(iv) Air Change : As per design
