Construction of Civil works for Making of 8.50 m long (180 kg working load) pre-stressed concrete poles in ratio of 1:1.66:2.95 with cement, approved quality Stone dust (max silt content not more than 4%) and 12mm downgraded approved stone ballast by dry volume in steel moulds as per technical specifications and consisting of following operations including cost of all labour, approved quality stone ballast & stone dust, Anchor Grip/Barrels & other consumables Diesel Oil for DG Set etc . but excluding cost of cement, H.T. wire & G.I. wire, which will be supplied by the Department free of cost at the store of Pole Unit simardha distt Jhansi. The special T&P shall also be provided by the Department free of cost such as concrete mixer, vibrator, moulds, concrete & pole carrying trolleys, Tension towers, electric hoist (2.0 ton capacity) Mobile tensioning tower for tensioning H.T. wire, chain pulley block, pole testing / cube testing m/c, electric welding m/c, dewatering/submersible pump set, Generator Set etc. will be given for use for work free of charges as mentioned in technical specifications, but cost of general maintenance of departmental T&P shall be born by the contractor for smooth operation of pole casting. The size of pole and other details have been shown in the drawing/ G.T.P. and technical specifications enclosed. A) Thorough cleaning, oil smearing of steel moulds for pole casting., B) Alignment of moulds., C). Placing and tightening of end plates., D) Making and placing of required number of rings in the mould as per drawing., E) Placing of H.T. wire coil in proper position unwinding and drawing through desired holes of anchor plates and end plates of mould as per drawing., F) Placing H.T. wire in anchor barrel and grips on outer faces of both the anchor plates as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. G) Stretching (tensioning) of 4 mm dia H.T. wires upto giving tension of 1750 kg. in each H.T. wire. with the help of approved quality Anchor Grip Wedges & Anchor Grip Barrels and Tension Tower., H) Placing of untensioned wire in position as per drawing ., I) Placing G.I. wires in position as per drawing. J) Binding of H.T. wires, G.I. wires and rings with the help of 24 S.W.G. binding wire to be supplied by the contractor at his own cost., K) Placing lifting hooks made of H.T. wires at proper position as per drawing. L) Fixing of clamps at proper position to restrict the movement of upper edges of moulds., M) Providing cement concrete mix in moulds as per technical specifications and vibrating the same as per instruction of E/I and operation and maintenance of Diesel DG Set & providing diesel and other consumables item at his own cost., N ) Engraving desired identification mark on exposed surface of concrete poles. O) Casting 3 no. cubes from different batches of concrete on each casting day., P) Casting of Poles in moulds., Q) Curing of poles and cubes with jute bags or any suitable arrangement approved E/I as per technical specification for minimum 72 hrs. from casting., R) Releasing of nut and bolts of end plates and shifting of end plates from original position., S) Cutting H.T. wires by electric welding rods or as directed by E/I., T) Removal of clamps, removal of poles and cubes, their shifting from moulds and placing them in water tank as per direction of E/I., U) Filling of water tank and submerging all poles to ensure proper curing., V). Dewatering water tank after minimum 18 days curing of poles in the tank., W). Taking out poles from curing tank, shifting and stacking them at location as directed by E/I in vertical position using spacers. and X). Providing labour for testing of poles as and when required as per instruction of E/I, including taking out the desired pole from the stack, shifting the same to testing platform making necessary arrangements, for testing and stacking of tested poles at location as directed by E/I.
Retrieving of H.T./G.I. wire from tested poles (8.50 Meter Long Pole) by breaking the poles and cleaning H.T./G.I. wire, cartage and stacking in departmental stores including disposal of debris/ concrete outside the corporation area including all labour, T&P etc. required for proper completion of work as per direction of E/I. Note: 1- The retrieved H.T./G.I. wire shall be calculated as per following norms- 2- 4mm dia H.T. wire with rings and hooks 11.80 kgs./pole. 3- 4mm dia G.I. wire 0.70 kgs./pole or 5mm dia GI Wire 1.20 Kgs./Pole. (if any)
Unloading of H.T. Wire in coils and G.I. wire from trucks, shifting them in departmental stores and stacking the same properly including all labour, T&P etc. complete as per direction of E/I.
