Excavation in earth work in hillly area all heights and depths in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed siol ordinary rock and hard rock . All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side track shall be excated with chiseling and wedging out rock ( where blasting prohibited) . All earth work in cutting/ excavation. Including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades side slopes width camber superelevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer- In Charge in conformity with the requirement of technical specificatiuon for Rural Road August,2004 and clause 16.2 of General conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal & dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner trimming filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-In Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of stones, whether useful or not, for 14768.28 cum (fourteen thousand seven hundred sixty eight point two eight ) in all cases, @ Rupees 170/- only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic metre shall be effected on prorate basis . Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the abosilute reponsibility of the contractor, which shall have to duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil , ordinary rocks, hard rocks, chiselling/ wedging out of rocks ( where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD. technical specification Clause 305.1 ,1104 and 1606.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-In -Charge including setting out construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deteterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottim and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shorting and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto all depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of Engineer-In -Charge and including of carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying cement concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C 1:6:12 (One cement : six sand : twelve graded stone aggrigate 40mm nominal size in open foundations and plinth or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 .including all leads and lifts, as per HPPWD, specification of 1990 volume-I or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Providing and laying cement concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C 1:4:8 (One cement : four sand : eight graded stone aggrigate 25mm nominal size in open foundations and plinth or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 .including all leads and lifts, as per HPPWD, specification of 1990 volume-I or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge

Stone Masonry courses with hard stone of approved quality in all depths and height including raking out joints in cement mortar 1:6 ( one cement :six sand) including carriage of all labour, material and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation in all lead and lift as per drawing and techncal specification clause 702,704,1202,1204 Rendam rubble masonry .

Dry rubble masonry with hard stone of approved quality in all depths and height including carriage of all labour, material and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation in all lead and lift as per drawing and techncal specification clause 702,704,1202,1204

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall, return walls to the full height, copacted to firm condition completed as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8. as ncluding hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying reinforcement cement concrete 900 mm diameter pipe NP2 as per design in single row providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for captures on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing caller with cement mortar 1:2 (One Cement:Two Sand)but excludingn excavation protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets clause 1106 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to combor (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD specifications. includinghauling of materials in all leads , lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of EngineerIn Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD specifications including carriage of all labour, material and equipments to various location through all modes of transportation as per techanical specification.

Stone soling properly hand-packed filling interstices with Kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the requested gradient and comber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etc. complete as per HP.PWD specification. 100 mm spread thickness (finished work including materials and labour) including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40 sqm in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment with a lift upto 3m and lead of 50 m (average lead 25 m) as per Technical Specification Clause 307 in all leads and lifts as per technical satisfactions and direction of Engineer -In Charge.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing and fixing of typical informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade 5th kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703 (5th Kilometer Stone precast)including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M15 -200 mtrer stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1703 (Ordinary Kilometer Stone precast)including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary,mandatryand informatary sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 450 mm x 450 mm x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 801 )including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer in Charge.
