GE(U)/CHM-45/2019-20 - REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF CI / GI DISTRIBUTION PIPELINE, CONTROL VALVES AND CERTAIN OTHER WORKS RELATED WITH SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION OF OTM ACCN AT CHANDIMANDIR

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation etc or for laying pipe lines and cables and getting out as in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm in hard/dense soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and removing from site old PCC and M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for to support the pipe line etc, including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, piller etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan to exceeding 6m mean radius, built in 1:4 cement mortar complete all as specified and directed

M & L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 20mm bore steel water tubing removal from site and Supply and laying in trenches / ducts/ culverts / under road /path /on walls 20mm bore galvanised steel tubing medium grade , ISI marked including fittings complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separetely under Srl 1 to 3 above

Supply and fix in repair gun metal gate valve, with iron wheel head screwed both ends for 20 mm bore iron pipe, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair straight plain brass ferrule, screwed both ends for iron pipe of size 20 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down cast Iron pipes 100 mm bore removing from site (including all fittings) with spigot & socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and Supply, laying, jointing and testing of ductile iron pressure pipe with socket & spigot ends having ISI stamping marking confirming to IS:8329/2000 in standard length of 5.50 - 6.00 meter of classification K-9 suitable for push on rubber tyton (gasket D-jointing) with cement mortar lining in the pipes having 100 mm bore, including aligning the pipes inside trench as per IS:12288/1987 and testing the joints with required water pressure complete all as specified & directed. Note: (i) Cutting of pipe shall be measured and paid for separately (ii) Excavation earth works shall be measured and paid for separately. (iii) Joints CI/DI specials shall be measured and paid for separately.

S & F ductile iron pipe fittings such as bends, tapers, tee pieces single branch, "Y" junction, collars, caps and plugs etc spigot socketed or flanged ends type of size upto 200 mm nominal bore conforming to IS-9520/2000 with pressure rating PN-1 (all the fittings shall be coated for rust prevention i.e. external coating zinc rich paint with finishing layer of bituminous as per Annexure - A of IS:9523/2000 and internal lining shall be of cement mortar with seal coat as per Annexure 'B' of IS-9523/2000) complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Joint and jointing material shall be measured and paid separately (ii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Material & Labour for rubber ring tyton push joints ISI marked suitable for spigot & socketed ends DI pipe and fittings for size upto 100 mm bore as per IS: 5382 with jointing material complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement ductile iron rising sluice valve , SS spindle 100 mm bore, flanged ends PN-1.6 designed as per IS:14846/2000 and CI operating wheel including gasket, nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for dismantling the existing sluice valve in situ, taking out defective spindle and check nut, supply and fixing new SS spindle & brass check nut all as per existing, reassembling the sluice valve by replacing rusted nuts/bolts and rubber gaskets, testing for proper working for size 100 mm dia complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item Sr No: 36 here in before but 150 mm bore

M&L for dismantling the existing sluice valve in situ, taking out defective valve seat, supply and fixing new valve seat all as per existing, reassembling the sluice valve by replacing rusted nuts/bolts and rubber gaskets, testing for proper working for size 100 mm dia complete all as specified & directed.

S&F in replacement single phase electrcally acuated ductile iron butterfly valve suitable with nominal dia 150 mm PN-16, suitable for potable water application, 230 V AC/24 V DC, alongwith starter/control panel, positioner transmitter complete all as specified & directed.

Taking up or down old rusted MS pipes 150 mm dia & Supply, laying, jointing and testing ERW mild steel black pipe of 150 mm nominal bore medium grade( class-B) as per IS: 1239 (Part-I) 2004 laid in trenches, over PCC pillars across or under bridges/ along hill side (up or down)/ culverts/ inside valve pits complete all as specified & directed. NOTE: (i) MS flanges, MS fittings and joints shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items. (ii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

S&F in repair MS flange for 150 mm nominal bore pipes, 17.5 mm thick and 279 mm outer dia having 8 holes drilled for 18mm dia bolts for jointing with the existing MS/DI pipes, duly welded with pipes/ fittings bends properly to both the plain ends complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for flanged joints for 150 mm nominal bore pipes including compressed asbestos fiber gasket 3 mm thick and 8 Nos nuts, bolts of size 18 mm dia and 75 mm length with 2 Nos washers 3 mm thick to joint pipes/ fittings/ bends etc complete all as specified & directed.

S&F pipe fitting like MS bends, tapers, tee pieces ( single& double branch) any type and angle radius and straight connecting pieces, tail pieces, collars etc, flanged ends type of any size/ type upto 150mm bore complete all as specified & directed. NOTE: (i) MS flanges and joints shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items. (ii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Note: 1 For Makes of all items refer Appx 'A' and 'B' of tender documents. 2. Quoted Contract Sum shall be arrived at after deducting the amount of Credit Schedule (refer Schedule of Credit Revised in pdf form for quantity, rate and amount etc.) for old unserviceable materials retrieved from site.
