REPAIR RENEWAL MAINT OF STREET LIGHT HIGH MAST LIGHT FLOOD LIGHT AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS OF AGE EM NO 1 UNDER GE MIS MHOW

Repair/maintenance of street/security lights any type, flood lights , post top lanterns or any other external lights in its position fixed pole/building structure or by taking down to ground, if required testing all the components/parts, wiring etc, identifying and replacing the defective components like chke (ballast), electronic driver (in case of LED Lights), ignitor, capacitor, lamp, lamp holder, connector, connection wires/ cable, MCB etc including refixing the fitting to its original position (if taken down), including repair/maint of street light control timer & junction box all as directed by Engr-in-charge for the complete contract period from the date of commencement of work complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- (i) The rate qgainst above mentioned item is deemed for cost of labour and allied expenses only. (ii) Cost of spares, choke (ballast), electronic driver, Ignitor, capacitor, lamp, lamp holder, connector, connection wire, MCB, timer spares etc) replaced against above mentioned item will be measured & paid for sepasrately under respective items of Sch 'A' here -in- below. (iii) The contractors representative will report to concerned JE E/M at 0900 hrs daily to collect the list of defective street light fittings and will submit the completion report on the same day before 1730hrs to JE E/M. (iv) The contractor has to rectify the defects/ repair and make the street light functional within 24 hours form the time the lis of deefective street lights is handed over to him/his rep by the concerned JE E/M. In case the street light is not made funtional for whatsoever reason within the specified time limit, an amount of Rs. 150/- per such defective street light per day will be recovered from the amount due to him through RAR/Final Bill.

(v) Contractor shall arrange requisite and sufficient no transport and vehicle mounted hydraulic ladder at his own. (vi) The contracor shall maintain proper record of repair/maint in a binded register duly bringing out the details of spares replaced on each and every street light and get it tuthenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis. The contractor shall put up the maint record register to Engineer-in-charge for inspection every monday or as and when akded for. (vii) The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of his men engaged for executing this work and he will provide all requisite safety equipment and clothings to his men and department shall not be repsonsible for any kind of mishap/accident/injury to his men. complete all as specified and directed.

(viii) The contractor shall maintain sufficient stock of spares/material required for repair/maint of street lights with the concerned JE E./M against the supply only items here-in-below, required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire, gaskets and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged and supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contrator under this item. complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 1 above but for light fittings from high mast poles of 11 to 13 m long complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down high mast fitting from high mast structure through motorised system of 16/20mtr high and cheking all fittings including cleaning & lubricating of steel rope and repair the light fittings to make functional by replacing accessories like choke, ignitor, lamp holder etc as required. Note:- Accessories like choke, ignitor, lamp, capacitor, holder, connecting cable will be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of sch 'A' complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only following street lights spares of branded made as mentioned in the list of make enclosed with Particuar specifications for replacement complete all as specified and directed. :- Matel halide lamp 400 W, 230V, AC elect supply suitable for MH Lamp Fittings mentioned in Srl No. 1 to 3.

Supply only following street lights spares of branded made as mentioned in the list of make enclosed with Particuar specifications for replacement complete all as specified and directed. :- Matel halide lamp 70 W, 230V, AC elect supply suitable for MH Lamp Fittings mentioned in Srl No. 1 to 3.

Supply only open construction copper wound ballast suitable for HPSV / MH fittings for 70 Watt complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement capacitor duty contactor with 3 pole,415 volt,3 phase, mini contactors contacts are with auxiliary contacts 1 NO+1NC of Rating 5 KVAR complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Supply and fixing in repairs of street light brackets made out of GI tubing, light grade, 40mm bore 1200 mm Long bent to shape at 120 degree, fixed on pole by providing MS clamp made up of flat iron (40x6) mm including bolts, nuts and washer of suitable size, complete and paintign one coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed..

S & F in replacement of sintex box thermo plast (weather proof) IP 66, on street light poles, made out of thermoplastic of size (295mm x 195mm x 100mm) size with connector for connecting incomming and outgoing of cable glands for incoming and outgoing of cable including provision of 01 no of MCB DP 06 Amps to control the pole light circuit and MS bracket made out of 32 x 4mm flats for fixing the box on post complete with nuts, bolts and washers and suitable size of double compression cable glandfs for incomming, outgoing of cable : Make :- SINTEX cat part No. gsjb-3020 or equivalent in Legrand/Havells. complete all as specified and directed by Enginr -in -charge.

Re-stretching tightening and fixing in position, the existing OH ACSR conductor LT line 3 phase with neutral and earth wire 440 V, 5/6 wire by loosing and taking down existing binding wire from the insulator of any size of ACSR conductor and bring it to required sag including provn of new binding wire and teghtening of cross arm on each pole and required trimming of tree branches. Note :- 1. Each wire to be measurede separately. 2. Unit rate are quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included for cutting and trimming branches of the trees coming in contact with ACSR conductor and separators. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Painting to street light pole of steel tubular type (9 meter long) with two coat of aluminium paint after finishing the surfaces including painting on cross arms/FI clamps/street liht brackets of any type including making alternative blak and yellow bands with synthethic enemelled paint up to 1.5 Mtr height from ground level & writing of pole numbers with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Supply laying & testing of XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric under ground cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches, sleeving through pipes or fixed on poles & walls or laid under floors including jointing with suitable size aluminium lugs complete of size 10 Sqmm nominal cross section x 2 core. complete all as specified and directed.

Checking of street light feeder over head conductors /under ground cables using elect tools, equipments and safty devices after arranging elect shut down of street light feeders from sub station to remove elect faults like tightning of loose jumpers, trimming of tree branches on a particular span, re-tightning of binding wires on insulators, re-tightning of cable lugs etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The elect employed for the purpose will be highly skilled along with one mate and should have all necessary tools and safty devices. (ii) Any Materials used for rectification of faults like ACSR conductor, insulator of any type, cables etc and excavation & earth work will be measured and paid seperately.

Excavating in trenches, in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, etc or not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning with fine dry unwashed sand in trenches for protection of cables complete all as specified and directed.

Old size sub class ‘B’ bricks, laid in trenches as cable covers complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting conductor,insulator,chanel,street light bracket etc from LT pole of height 9 to 11 meter and remove LT Pole from safe ground . lifting the LT pole and load the same in a suitable vehicle to transport to the site . Un loading the same , reinstallation the same by proper PCC Work, Complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note:-(a)The distance of LT Pole shifting from 3 to 5 km. (b) PCC Work are included in the rate quoted .
