Improvement RD Road (Akarpada) to Jhadagaon

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other sturcture comprising of masonry, cement concrete wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking the serviceable materials with all lifts and lead of 1000m as per Technical Specification Clause 202

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth upto 300mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned upto a lead of 1000metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm in thickness as per Clause 201 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) & including cost of all labour, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of embankment with approved materials obtained from borrow pits by mechanical means graded and compacted to meet requirement as per approved drawing and technical specifications complete in all respect as per Section 900 and clause 305 of MoRT&H Specification for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) & including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures in all types of soil as per drawing and technical specification Clause 305 and 1104 of MoRD includding setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto all lead & lift, dressing of sides and bottom and back filling with excavated suitable material upto 3mt. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from road-way cutting and other structures with all lifts and leads graded and compacted to meet requirement as per approved drawing and technical specifications complete in all respect as per Section 900 and Clause 305 of MoRT&H Specification for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) & including cost of all labour, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Fine dressing and providing, laying turfing with live sods of perennial turf forming grass on embankment slope, verges or other locations including preparation of ground, fetching of sods with all lifts and leads upto 5 Km. and watering complete in all respect as per approved drawing and technical specifications as per Section 900 and Clause 307 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision) & including cost & conveyance of all materials, labour, T&P, royalty etc complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and constructing well compacted drainage layer above the subgrade of roadwork with approved quality of dust free washed coarse to medium sand as per Clauses 5.8 and 6.6 of SP:20-2002.

Plain cement concrete M-15 grade in Foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification.

Construction of un-reinforced plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M-30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the form work as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion and construction joints, applying sealant, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

CULVERTS & PROTECTION - Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil for road works with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 Cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, dressing of section to correct line, level, grade & camber for road work or dressing of sides and bottom for foundation of structures and loading into tippers, transporting to embankment site within all lifts and lead upto 1000mtr. and utilising the surplus earth locally for road work wherever required, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required etc complete in all respect as per clause 301 & 304 of Specification for road & bridge work of MORT&H (5th Revision) & Direction of Engineer in charge.
