Soil stabilization and plinth protection:- Polyurethane injection grouting: Drilling holes into the ground surface, injecting flexible, hydrophilic, fast curing Polyurethane injection resin grout into the ground using a standard injection machine. The grout should be injected with a high-pressure pump so that the pressure forces the PU grout deep into the surface, including making good all the surfaces after the completion of grouting process, including all material, labour, equipment, etc. complete as per directions of Engineer In charge.
Plinth protection: Providing plinth protection to the existing structures by excavating 1m along the periphery upto about 100-150mm depth around the edges of the building, cleaning and removing all the loose material from the trench and filling with Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 with Polymer additives and waterproofing admixture upto surface level, give a proper smooth finish, all complete, including materials, labour, tools-tackles, etc. complete to the satisfaction of Engineer In charge.
Crack repair / Joint treatment
Opening the crack or joint in V-grooves by chipping & removal of dilapidated concrete carefully upto sound concrete with electrically operated low impact chiesel & hammer upto required depth using electrically operated diamond concrete saw blade and cleaning it by wire brush and then by air blower. complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Apply SBR based bonding agent to the opened grooves in the concrete before filling up with Polymer modified mortar or any other treatment, including cleaning the surface to remove dirt, dust or any other impurities on the surface, etc. complete all as specified and directed . Make: SG Corporation- Catena SB/ Pratham Enterprises- Impermo 2001/ Optimus Chemicals- Optybond SOV or equivalent.
Providing and filling ready mix Polymer Modified Mortar (PMM) in grooves of any depth in layers upto required thickness to reach the surface level, not exceeding 20 mm at a time, complete as per specified and as directed. PMM shall have compressive strength >= 50 N/sqmm (28 days) according to ASTM C 109; flexural strength >= 5N/ sqmm (7 days) according to ASTM C 293-79. Make: SG Corporation- Verdhaio PMM/ Pratham Enterprises- Impermo 4006/ Optimus Chemicals- OptyRE P40 or equivalent.
Epoxy grouting
Drilling Holes of 12mm dia up to 100 mm deep holes in structural members at the interval of 350 mm in staggered manner or along the crack line in Reinforced Concrete (RC) structural element including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting 12mm dia NRV (Non Returnable Valve) nozzle compatible with epoxy injector and having machined external end to receive outlet of Grouting Gun. Fix inside the hole by applying thixotropic epoxy adhesive to ensure complete sealing and allow curing the system for minimum of 8 Hrs before Grouting including nozzle projections, excess putty, if any, over concrete element by grinding, leveling and finishing the external surface, after completion of the work, etc. complete all as specified and directed.
Injecting two part, low viscosity, moisture insensitive injection liquid, based on high strength epoxy resin by pressure and using pressure epoxy injector with accessories till nozzle refused to accept the grout including mixing of grout having following properties:- (i) Mixed Density 1.1 kg/l (at +27°C); Viscosity ~ 250 mPas at +30°C and should comply according to ASTM C 881, Type II and IV, Grade-1, Class E+F (ii) Compressive strength >= 70 N/sqmm (7 days) according to ASTM C 579; Tensile Strength ~ 50 N/sqmm (after 7 days at +30°C cure) (According to ASTM D 638); Tensile Modulus ~ 2000 N/sqmm (after 7 days at +30°C cure) (According to ASTM D 638); (iii) Bond Strength ~10.8 N/sqmm (failure in concrete) after 14 days at +30°C cure; Flexural strength ~ 50 N/sqmm according to ISO 178. (iv) Seal the nozzle with thixotropic epoxy adhesive after the refusal of grout material from the nozzle. Note:- leakage through other nozzle or cracks are required to be monitored while grouting and such points to be sealed as and when required without any extra cost. (Mode of measurement: per kg of material consumed) Make: SG Corporation- Verdhaio LVG/ Pratham Enterprises- Impermo 4002/ Optimus Chemicals- OptyRE POLYG or equivalent.
Rebuilding of loose concrete
Carefully chipping, removing existing loose/ damaged concrete with plaster from Columns by low impact high frequency hammer/ chipper without damaging the existing sound concrete and exposing old reinforcement upto 10mm beyond corroded reinforcement bars using electrically operated diamond concrete saw blade making the edges straight and even and cleaning it by wire brush and then by air blower complete as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Applying SBR based bonding agent to the entire surface prior to building up of concrete with Polymer modified mortar or any other treatment , including cleaning the surface to remove dirt, dust or any other impurities on the surface, etc. complete. Make: SG Corporation- Catena SB/ Pratham Enterprises- Impermo 2001/ Optimus Chemicals- Optybond SOV or equivalent.
Rebuilding the section of structural damaged RCC/PCC elements to its original size and shape in layers of 20 mm each (10mm average thickness in first layer) by providing and applying with pre-batched, one component fiber based repair mortar having compressive strength >= 50 N/sqmm (28 days) according to ASTM C 109; flexural strength >= 5N/ sqmm (7 days) according to ASTM C 293-79. Make: SG Corporation- Verdhaio PMM/ Pratham Enterprises- Impermo 4006/ Optimus Chemicals- OptyRE P40 or equivalent.
All as per serial Item No. 4.03 above but add for each additional 10mm uniform thickness for subsequent layers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Fiber wrapping
Carbon Fiber wrapping:- M&L for design, fabrication and supply of FRP system for strengthening of structural elements comprising of CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) sheet and compatible saturant, by dry/wet layup system including, Surface preparation: Grinding, moulding concrete substrate. Cleaning it with wire brush, removing oil, laitance if present. Rounding off sharp edges to minimum 25 mm radius. Profiling: Applying epoxy primer on prepared substrate, filling holes and uneven surfaces with thixotropic putty, etc. complete. Wrapping: Wrapping the fibre sheet to structural element at desired orientation with application of compatible epoxy saturant using tamping roller to avoid any air voids. Sand pasting: Applying second coat of saturant, rectify air voids if any; paste the river sand on it to make surface rough to take further finishes. (Mode of measurement: Fiber area of application, not surface area of RCC member) Make: CFRP - SG Corporation- Verdhaio CWRP 230/ Pratham Enterprises- Impermo 4010/ Optimus Chemicals- OptyRE CRHD23 or equivalent.
