Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of eprocurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bids with major deviations are not acceptable. Deviation against terms payment, force majeure, Contract agreement and performance security suit or proceedings,performance particulars of goods to be supplied,performance guarantee clauses of bid document constitutes major deviation.

Past Experience

The prospective Bidder should be a Class-III and above electrical contractor having satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor at least one similar work of Supply, execution of Internal Electrification, and Installation of Electrical Fixtures for Buildings of value not less than Rs.8.37 lakhs (exclusive of GST) in any reputed Industry/PSU/Government organization in the preceding five years (i.e. 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26). In proof of this, the bidder should submit a copy of single work done certificate and corresponding work order/purchase order issued by competent authority (in case of state/central Government/Government under taking from officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent cadre and in case of KPCL not below the rank of Chief Engineer) with reference to the previous similar work done by the contractor. (A weightage of 10% per year is applicable to previous work/purchase orders to bring the current price level of 2025-26).

Financial Status

The bidder in his name, should have in the last five years (i.e.,2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26) achieved in at least two financial years an average annual financial turnover of Rs.16.74 Lakhs. In proof of this Turnover Certificate duly certified by Charted Accountant shall be furnished. (A weightage of 10% per year is applicable to previous annual turnover to bring the current price level of 2025-26).

Those bidders whose contracts have been terminated / fore-closed by KPCL/who has not duly followed contract agreement /statutory requirements in the running contract of KPCL or whose performance has not been satisfactory while executing the contract of the above within last five years are not eligible to participate in the bid. The bidder shall furnish an undertaking in this regard (Annexure-V).
