Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep in soft/loose soil for laying / taking up/ taking down of cables and getting out and levelling of bottom suface to required level all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

Returning filling in,. Including spreading, levelling,. Watering and well ramming soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (ie soil) from site to a distance n. exc 50 mtrs away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for river washed and screened, dry sand for filling in trenches below and around underground cables for cushioning of cables etc, complete all as specified. Note : Measurement shall be taken after punning down.

S&F sub class B bricks having minimum compressive strength 75 Kg/ Sqcm laid in trenches for cable protection etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per srl item No 5 here-in-before but using old bricks obtained under srl item No 1 here in before.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat size 300mmx 180mm x 40mm.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning in replacment LT underground cables 1100 volts grade, PVC insulated XLPE and PVC sheathed, heavy duty armoured, with multistranded aluminium conductors, IS-1554 marked, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed. Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting in replacement HT cable, 11000 volts (E) grade, with Aluminum conductor of size 1000 Sqmm, single core, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, screened, Armoured with GI strip(Earthed), screened by a layer of extruded semi conducting cross linkable compound, copper tape, cross laid up with prefiller complete all as specified and directed.

Testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 11 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) 11 KV HT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable cable cover/bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra PCC cover/bricks and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule.

All as per item Ser No 12 above but 1100 Volt LT cables

Taking out faulty underground 1100 Volt LT cable of different sizes by excavation and removing bricks of any size and relaying in the same trenches or re routing after rectification of fault or replacing faulty portion of cable with new cable and removing of surplus soil and using new bricks as required. Note: (a) 1100 Volt LT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra bricks/PCC cable cover and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule.

All as per item Ser No 14 above but 11000 Volt HT cables

Material and labour disconnecting faulty /burnt end or portion of cable by removing the cable from loop including necessary excavation & earth work , suitable size of thimble LT tap , relaying and reconnecting the cable by removing faulty/burnt portion of cable and preparing fresh terminals for 25 Sqmm 3.5/4 core to 240 Sqmm 3.5 core of LT cable to LT Panel/pole/main switch complete all as directed.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.10 m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, connected to earth test point and the equipment on the other nuts and washers of galvanised ironside complete all as specified, including testing and commissioning complete all as directed. M & L for 2 coat of aluminium painting over a coat of red oxide to steel surfaces of HT 4/6 pole sturcture (Angle Iron/MS channel /MS clamp etc) including preparation of old surface complete all as specified.

Material & Labour for replacement of jumper/bus bar made of ACSR conductor of existing size on HT Four/Six pole structure having 2/3 incoming/outoing feeder including bus bar with PVC sleeve , lugs , nut bolts and washers complete all as directed.

All as per Serial item No 29 here-in-before but 4/6 incoming/outoing feeder

S&F in replacement Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers,welding, bending cold or hot,drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint on 4/6 pole 11 KV HT structure

M & L for cutting and removing grass, vegetation bushes etc from surrounding 4 pole/6 pole HT structure , outside area of HT installation and removing all rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 m as directed.

Material and labour for sprading of stone aggregate of nominal size not more than 25mm under 4/6 pole HT structure /surounding area of outdoor RMU manually without damaging any equipments, cable or parts , spreading & levelling of finished gravel uniformaly in layers n. ecc. 15 cm thick watered and rammed to true surface all as specified and directed

Suplying and laying as replacement in sub station fixing 3.3 to 11 KV electrical insulation mat of size 5 mtr x 1 mtr x 2.5 mm thick specification as per IS 15652 2006

S&F in replacement for Danger Notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white , with letters, figures and conventional skull and bobes in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20 cm size including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Lightening arrestors expulsion type with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 10 kilo Amps suitable for 11000 volts complete as specified and directed.

Cutting of tree branches near/ over/under the OH conductor as directed to Engr-in-Charge.

Note : contractor should procure and provide 50 % of the material as listed above within 15 days of the placing of work order and shall be verified by the Eng-in-charge
