Note:- Excavation and removal of soil upto site of forming embankments shall be measured and separately under respective items of BOQ here-in-before.

M&L for hard core of stone (granite/ basalt/ trap) boulders or broken stone of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, mass concrete and sub base of floors, path/ paving, foundation of poles etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling, mass concrete for stays and as in base of platform for intallation of transformer etc or any other similar siuation as required at site with & including necessary use and waste of form work for fair faces of concrete, complete all as specified & directed.

M&Lfor PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in copings/ benching or mud stops etc and the like including weathering slightly rounded/ chamfered angles with & including necessary use and waste of form work for fair faces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in bed block for hold fast, plinth courses, copings, bed plates etc and the like including weathering slightly rounded/ chamfered angles with & including necessary use and waste of form work for fair faces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in surface channels, drains and benching of manhole complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:1.5:3) (Nominal mix) type A-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in bases & over/ surroundings of RCC pipe and the like etc with & including necessary use and waste of form work if required for rough finished surfaces of concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for factory made precast coloured kerb stones of size and shape as per site requirement in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate (with plain or interlocking joints as approved by GE), chamfers, weatherings, throating etc and setting in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for walling of random rubble, uncoarsed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted as in retaining walls, abutments and similar works built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for keyed pointing to random or polygon rubble, uncoarsed or brought upto course in CM 1:4 complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 100mm thick moorum/ red bajri, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required complete all specified and directed. Note:- (i) Compacted thickness shall be measured and paid. (ii) Rolling/ compaction shall be done by vibromax roller only.

M&L for 100mm thick cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings and the like etc, spread and consolidated to gradient and camber as required complete all specified and directed. Note:- Compacted thickness shall be measured and paid.

M&L for 150mm thick spread thickness soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Rolling/ compaction shall be done by vibromax roller only.

M&L for WBM 150mm thick (compacted thickness) in two equal layers of 75mm thick each with coarse aggregates (granite/ basalt/ trap) of grading-2 (63mm to 40mm size) or grading-3 (50mm to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing unsurfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat of bituminous primer with paving bitumen VG-30 @ 10 Kg/ 10Sqm by using mechanical sprayer on prepared surface complete all as specified.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat of bituminous primer with paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 Kg/ 10Sqm by using mechanical sprayer on black top surface of road complete all as specified.

M&L for bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete shall be prepared in hot mix plant only. (ii) Bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete shall be laid with sensor paver only. (iii) Binder content shall be tested at site as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam for consolidated thickness upto 75mm or less with using 19mm graded (Grading 2) stone aggregate with minimum 4.0% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 12 tonne tandem vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Premixed bituminous macadam shall be prepared in hot mix plant only. (ii) Premixed bituminous macadam shall be laid with sensor paver only. (iii) Binder content shall be tested at site as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of existing bituminous road surfaces by removing dust, dirt grease and other foreign matters etc and after prepration of road surfaces, applying road marking having minimum 2.5mm average thickness with & including thermo plastic (Reflective) line marker paint/ compound of uniform surface finish conforming to BS 3262 (Part-I) 1989 read in conjunction with the MORTH specification 803 clause 4.2.2 on bituminous surfaces in white/ yellow colour and super imposed with glass beads conforming to BS 6088 read in conjuction with the MOST specification 803 clause 4.3.3 complete all as specified and directed. Make of Road Marker Paint/ Compound:- Asian or Thermoline as approved by GE. Notes:- (i) MORTH specification 803 shall be followed strictly for execution of work & suitable machine shall be used for the marking as approved by GE. (ii) Shape, size & pattern of marking shall be as approved by GE.

Supply and fix solar flasher/ delineators pole mounting with protective cover & pole, fixed on the ground after necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, embeding the delineators on the ground with & including PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate (minimum PCC block size 200mmx 200mmx 200mm for proper grouting) complete all as specified and directed. Make of Delineators:- GPF-800 P of Road Star or equivalent Model of make- Green Lite or Dark Eye or Sun Lite as approved by GE.

Supply and fix CAT'S EYE/ RAISED PAVEMENT MARKER/ ROAD STUDS designed to provide enhanced, dependable road guidance to motorists in bad weather conditions, made out of strong ABS moulded body with polycarbonate/ PMMA (Acrylic) micro prismatic reflectors ultrasonically welded on the moulded ABS body for maximum retro reflection in wet and dry conditions and to be fixed with Epoxy- Resin based adhesive or Special Hot Melt Bitumen adhesive avoiding nails etc complete all as specified and directed. Make: 3M 290 Series of Road Star or equivalent Model of make- Dark Eye or Green Lite or Sun Lite as approved by GE.

Supply and fix solar cat eye/ studs of size 125mmx 125mmx 25mm (shank 60mm) with aluminium alloy shell, high efficiency Mono-Crystalline Solar Panel 2.40V/ 0.30Watt having one Ni-Mh or NI-cd rechargable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA), Six Super Bright LEDs with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd (Millicandela) having flash rate 2 Hz and bearable weight 10 tons approx with view distance upto 1000 meters of any colour i.e yellow, red, blue, green or white as required at site, working temp 10o-75o C, working time 3 to 4 days after fully charged battery, charging time 5 to 6 hours from direct sun light, maintenance free, un-breakable poly carbonate clear facing, automatically turns on at night and turns off at dawn including all fixing arrangment as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed. Make: DA 110 (DHRUV) of DARK EYE or equivalent Model of make- Road Star or Green Lite or Sun Lite as approved by GE.

M&L for 80mm thick rubber mould reflective factory made coloured pre cast PCC interlocking paver blocks/ tiles confirming to IS 15658-2006, M-40 designation of section as approved by GE in hard standing, laid dry over & including 50mm thick sand cushion and filling the voids of paver blocks/tiles with dry sand complete all as specified & directed. Make:- Mehtab Tiles, Indore (MP) or Nitco, Mumbai or Mayur Tiles & Interlocking pavers, Lucknow or Star Tiles & Industries, Ramadevi, Kanpur as approved by GE.

M&L for 75mm bore, UPVC pipes (SCH-40) with and including jointing and jointing materials and necessary fittings if required as in weep holes complete all specified and directed.

M&L for reinforced concrete pipes 750mm bore with collars, class NP3 laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:1 complete all as specified and directed.

T&P and necessary labour for shifting at new location/ place including relaying or refixing or repassing in trenches/ on poles/ through pipes as required/ asked after taking out/ taking down the existing HT 11000 volts grade PILCA/ XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor of cross section area 95 sqmm, 3 core from trenches/ poles/ pipes including existing precast concrete cable covers/ brick protection and testing on completion complete all as directed. Notes:- (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and cable covers/ brick protection shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items of BOQ. Existing cable covers/ brick protection shall be also be used in the work, if found serviceable but same shall be measured and paid seprately under respective item of BOQ as "Relaying only". (ii) Joints shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items. (iii) Taking out/ taking down shall be done only after disconnecting all the connections of the cable from over head lines and panels.

(ii) Joints shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items. (iii) Taking out/ taking down shall be done only after disconnecting all the connections of the cable from over head lines and panels.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers, Class HVP type1 with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Relaying only old exising serviceable bricks/ precast concrete cable covers as in mechanical protection to cable across the cable after cleaning of bricks/ precast concrete cable covers as required complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Old serviceable bricks/ precast concrete cable covers as obtained during taking out/ taking down and relaying of HT cables here-in-before shall be used.

M&L for cable jointing kit in replacement for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95sqmm to 120sqmm and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- M SEAL or RAYCHEM or DENSON or CAB SEAL as approved by GE.

M&L for cable jointing kit in replacement for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95sqmm to 120sqmm and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- M SEAL or RAYCHEM or DENSON or CAB SEAL as approved by GE.

M&L for cable jointing kit in replacement for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120sqmm to 185sqmm and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- M SEAL or RAYCHEM or DENSON or CAB SEAL as approved by GE.

Supply and fix new pin type porcelain, vitreous, white/ brown/ green insulator 100mm high and 65mm dia including one galvanised mils steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, suitable for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed. Make: JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Supply and fix new pin type porcelain, vitreous, white/ brown/ green insulator 150mm high and 150mm dia including one galvanised mils steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, suitable for HT 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix new disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green 145mm high and 225mm dia ball & socket type, 'TWO IN SERIES' assembly for tension with GI tension clamps for conductors for working pressure of 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix new shackle type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green 75mm high and 90mm dia including galvanized MS straps of size 31x3mm, 12mm dia GI bolts, nuts and washers suitable for working pressure of 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed. Make : JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Dismantling of unserviceable stay assembly carefully including stay wire necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, demolition of PCC of any type and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Stay Assembly with stay rod of 16mm dia complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No.01 with and including loop type insulator & stay clamps complete all as directed. Note:- Loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation and earth work and PCC shall be measured & paid separately as M&L or S&F as taken in respective items of BOQ.

M&L for Stay Assembly with stay rod of 20mm dia complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No.01 with and including loop type insulator & stay clamps complete all as directed. Note:- Loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation and earth work and PCC shall be measured & paid separately as M&L or S&F as taken in respective items of BOQ.

Supply and fix new loop type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green small size with over all dimensions 65x90mm, clearance of hole 16mm complete all as specified and directed. Make : JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Supply and fix new loop type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green large size with over all dimensions 90x140mm, clearance of hole 25.5mm complete all as specified and directed. Make : JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Supply & fix galvanized stay strand, 7/4mm including necessary binding strengthening complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing old cross arms, bracing, supports etc of any section, FI clamps, nuts, bolts, insulators etc. from OH line and checking for re-use & removal of unserviceable cross arms, bracing, supports etc from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminum paint complete all as specified and dircted.

All as per item No.66.00 above but using old existing cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps etc as obtained from item No. 65.00 here-in-before including cleaning, removing stain and painting with two coats of aluminum paints over & including a coat of red oxide (primer) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 9.0M long steel tubular swaged pole type 410 SP-31 complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, nuts, bolts, screws and washers all as specified including two coats of painting with black bituminous paint upto embedded portion before fixing of poles and two coats of painting with aluminium paint over a coat of primer on exposed surface after fixing complete all as shown in TD drawing No. CEJZ/TD/824/91, Sht No1/2 dt 16.04.91 including following items/ works complete:- (a) Excavation in post holes in any types of soil, returning fillingin, well ramming and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M from the starting points complete all as specified and directed. (b) PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation up to ground level complete all as specified and directed. (c) PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in copings/ collars, bed plates, plinth block etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed. (d) M&L for writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with and including thick enamel paint of approved shade not exc 5cm in height complete all as specified and directed. Dismantling of existing unserviceable HT/LT electric poles of any section, size & type after dismantling of PCC coping, necessary excavation and earth work, opening of MS cross arms/ clamps, insulators and carefully taking down of existing over head copper conductors or aluminium conductor as required including removal from site complete all as dircted. Notes:- (i) Quoted rate shall be deemed to included for necessary excavation in post holes in any types of soil and earth works i.e. returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5M above the starting point, if site for "fixing of new pole" and "dismantling of existing pole" are different. (ii) Lump sum Rs. 500.00/ per pole shall be recovered from quoted sum for necessary excavation in post holes in any types of soil and earth works i.e. returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5M above the starting point, if site for "fixing of new pole" and "dismantling of existing pole" are same since necessary excavation and earth works have already been considered under item Nos. 68.00 & 69.00 here-in-before. (iii) Opening & taking down of MS cross arms/ clamps alongwith insulators shall be measured and paid separately under item No. 65.00 here-in-before.

Dismentling of existing unserviceable drop out fuse assembly and removing from site complete all as specified and direted.

M&L for drop out fuse assembly channel type for 11 KV, 3 Phase 100 Amp, consisting of galvanized steel base paper fuse carrying brackets, mounting channel, separating rod etc complete all as specified and directed. Make:- JAIPURIA or PACTIL or BHEL or MEI as approved by GE.

Re-fixing of HT/LT electric poles of any section, size & type i.e. steel tubular swaged/ PCC pole complete at new location after dismantling of existing HT/LT electric poles & PCC coping, making necessary excavation and earth work, opening of MS cross arms/ clamps, insulators & stay wire etc and carefully taking down of existing over head copper conductors or aluminium conductor as required including removal from existing site to new site, fixing/ re-fixing of pole shall be carried out complete all as shown in TD drawing No. CEJZ/TD/824/91, Sht No1/2 dt 16.04.91 and re-fixing of old existing cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, insulators & stay wire etc as obtained during dismantling and making good to old/ dismantling post holes as per existing/ surroundings including following items/ works:- (a) Excavation in post holes in any types of soil, returning fillingin, well ramming and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M from the starting points complete all as specified and directed. (b) PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation up to ground level complete all as specified and directed. (c) PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in copings/ collars, bed plates, plinth block etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only and stretching of old copper conductors or aluminium conductor steel reinforced of any size for over head line securing on pole complete with and including new binding wire, jointing sleeves aluminium tap and PG clamps etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Old copper conductors or aluminium conductor steel reinforced as obtained during dismantling of poles/ shifting of poles against item Nos. 70.00 & 73.00 here-in-before shall be used. (iii) All necessary T&P required at site for re-straining of existing ACSR/ GI conductors shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iv) Quoted rates shall be deemed to be included for renewal of jumper and tree branch cutting if required to make safe distance from pole/ OH line.

Dismentling of air breake gang operated switchs vertical/ horizontal mounted HT 33/11 KV incluidng insulators and operating mechanism for repair/ replacement of broken/ worn out components and insulators etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix new switch air break gang operated triple pole mechanically operated out door with all fittings/ accessories mounted on & including porcelain insulators and steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level with & including operating rod of 25mm dia GI pipe medium grade (ISI marked) with MS handle with locking arrangement, for current rating up to 200 Amp 11000 Volts including drop out fuses of suitable capacity to suit gang operated triple pole 11 KV switch, connecting, commissioning and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Make:- JAIPURIA or PACTIL or BHEL or MEI as approved by GE.

Schedule of credit amount of Rs.16,500.00 to be deducted during AOC
