PART A: CIVIL WORKS
Providing and erecting double bamboo scaffolding using minimum 50 to 75mm dia best quality bamboos tied with coir rope and the horizontal and vertical members of the bamboos to be provided as required at spacings of not more than 900mm apart both horizontally and vertically including providing cross supports as struts to the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance/ repair works of external surfaces of buildings as and when required including providing necessary safety belt and helmet to the workers, dismantling the scaffolding and taking back the scaffolding, safety belt and helmet after the repair works are completed including cost of transportation, labours, bamboos etc. complete all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer In-charge.

b) Supplying and erecting M.S. tubular scaffolding using 'H' frames of M/s. Acrow India (or) equivalent with horizontal and vertical rows @ suitable spacing as per I.S. specification suitably overlapped at junctions and cross braced wherever required securely tied,supporting the scaffolding with building members as per permitted by the Engineer-in-Charge, including providing necessary safety belt and helmet to the workers and dismantling & taking back the scaffolding, safety belt and helmet after the repair works are completed including Necessary aluminium/ M.S. ladder dog legged type all as per specifications and directed by the EIC i) Double steel Tubular scaffolding
MASONRY WORK Brick masonry work using well burnt bricks from approved lot of class designation 3.5 / 7.5 (as specified) (classification as per IS:1077-1992 and min. average compression strength not less than 3.5 / 7.5 N/mm2, as specified) in cement mortar 1: 6 or using ready mix mortar (1.4), (as specified), to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge.

MARBLE / GRANITE WORK Providing & laying machine cut, machine polished Granite stone/Marble stone as mentioned followings for kitchen platform vertical support/ shelves/ window cill etc. and including necessary cement mortar for backing/ bedding, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, slope, level, plumb, curing at all floors & levels etc. as required including cutting of stone slabs, wastage, making cut outs wherever required etc. all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
a) 18mm thick machine cut and single side machine polished jet Black Granite for window cill in stepped form laid over 20mm thick 1:4 cement mortar & overlapping of 20mm shall be fixed with Araldite aesive with best workmanship including half round moulding & polishing ofg exposed face etc. complete.
b) 18mm thick machine cut and single side machine polished Jet Black Granite for window jamb & bottom of lintel in single pi ece laid over 20mm thick 1:4 cement morar including half round moulding & polishing of exposed face etc. complete.
STRUCTURAL REPAIRING WORK Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: Important Notes: 1. Breaking cracked / spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site,simultaneous transportation and disposed at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. 2. Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping / wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone /rust remover of Dr. Fixit / Anuvi chemicals / Fosroc or other eqivalent. 3. Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4. Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved Manufacturers Like M/s Astra , M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky white Ph- value : 9-10 Specific gravity : 1.055+/-0.005 Solid contents(%w/w)-: 44+/-1 Viscocity at 25 degree C temperature (in sec): 15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party Lab. is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply. 5. Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./layer/sq.m. 6. Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10
a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including curing, covering the flooring /window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor / windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Polymer used for this work in KG shall be measured for payment.
b) Repairing with polymer bonded mortar up to 35mm thick in layers of not exceeding 20mm (with out chicken mesh) in a day (proportion- cement 50 Kg : silica sand 125 Kg) with applying protection coat / bond coat to reinforcement, bond coat to old concrete and bond coat for every successive layers of 20mm thick in proportion polymer : Cement-1:1 by volume as per specification including covering the floor/windows with tarpaulin or equivalent covering material etc., and cleaning after repair etc., complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. The rate is inclusive of supplying and applying protection coat /Bond coat of polymer.
c) Repairing with polymer bonded mortar average 70 mm thick in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 kg : silica sand 125 Kg. ) with applying protection coat / bond coat to reinforcement and bond coat for every successive layers of 20 mm thick in proportion Polymer : cement – 1:1 by volume as per specification including one layer of Chicken mesh 22 gauge, including covering the floor / windows with tarpaulin or equivalent covering material etc. and cleaning after repairs, curing etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC. The rate is inclusive of supplying and applying protection coat /Bond coat of polymer.
Jacketing and strengthening of R.C.C column with free flow self compacting micro concrete made with Roff concrete Repair (Super flow micro concrete) manufactured by M/S. Roff construction chemical, (or) Renderoc RG manufactured by M/s. Fosroc chemicals (India) limited (or) ESSEN construction chemical or other approved equivalent make, which consist of dismantling loose concrete along with plaster, cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly with wire brush and finally with acetone, making micro concrete by mixing prepacked dry micro concrete and water in proportion as prescribed by the manufacture, mixing them thoroughly for 5 minutes for achieving free flow state of micro concrete, pouring the micro concrete in layers, compacting the concrete by blowing strokes with 16mm steel rod curing for 10 days (curing shall be commenced immediately after 4 hours of pouring concrete) etc. including providing shuttering and disposal of debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC . NOTE: Measurement shall be taken as per actual consumption of pre-packed dry micro concrete in Kg. used for structural repairing work.
Reinforcement for reinforced cement concrete conforming to IS at all floors & levels including, supplying, cutting, bending, fixing and tying in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire including cost of binding wire, labour etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor & the same will not be measured for payment. a).With high yield strength deformed bars Fe 500 grade
Providing and laying in position, at all floors and at all levels & locations plain cement concrete of grade as specified below including machine mixing, consolidation, finishing, curing and including cost of form work, shuttering, centering etc. complete all as per specifications and directed by EIC. (Note:- Reinforcement provided if any shall be measured & paid under relevant item.) Cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm)
Sand faced plastering work using cement sand mortar (1:4) or using ready mix cement mortar having cement : sand (1:4) and finished thickness as specified below at all floors, levels & locations, in single/ double coat (as specified) over concrete/ masonry surface including surfaces preparation in correct line, level, plane, plumb and including scaffolding, curing etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC. 20 mm thick in two coats for brick/ concrete surfaces (external / internal) (back coat and finishing coat of 10 mm. thick each) with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers specifications. (Using Cement : Sand (1:4) mortar) NOTE:1. The contractor must take full precautions that original brick work is not damaged while dismantling of plaster. Incase of any damage the same shall be made good with 22g chickenwire mesh at his own cost . No separate payment for any additional thickness of plaster if any will be made. Contractor must visit site and acquint himself with the condition of building.
Rough cast plastering work 25 mm thick using cement sand mortar (1:4) or using ready mix cement mortar having cement : sand (1:4), in two coats for brick/ concrete surfaces (external / internal) (back coat 15 mm and finishing coat of 10 mm. thick) with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers specifications and including surfaces preparation correct line, level, plane, plumb and including scaffolding, curing etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC. Using Cement : Sand (1:4) mortar Note:The contractor must take full precautions that original brick work is not damaged while dismantling of plaster. Incase of any damage the same shall be made good with 22g chickenwire mesh at his own cost . No separate payment for any additional thickness of plaster if any will be made. Contractor must visit site and acquaint himself with the condition of building.
Cement plastering using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied on internal wall and ceiling finished smooth with neeru over brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels, including curing and removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris out side colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC. a) 12 mm thick
EXTERNAL PAINTING WORK Providing and applying one coat of base primer (Apex Ultima protek basecoat of M/s. Asian paints or Aquatech of M/s. ICI Dulux or equivalent) and two top coats of acrylic water proof exterior coating of Apex Ultima Protek of M/s. Asian Paints / Weathershield flexx rainproof system of M/s. ICI Dulux or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face / form finished surfaces / rough cast plaster at all locations as required, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 6-8 hours for each successive coats and ensure consumption of 0.47 ltr/Sqm for 3 coats,(base coat @.29 Ltr/sqm & two top coats @0.18 Ltr/sqm ) for sand face surfaces including preparation of surface, cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. Complete generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the Engineer-In Chrage.
a). Over sand faced plastered surfaces / GRC Jalli
b). Over sand faced plastered / Form finished surfaces
c). Over rough cast plastered surfaces
Providing and applying cement based wall care putty in one coat of Birla wall care putty of M/s.Birla/Stucco putty of M/s. Jotun/Champion putty of M/s. Saint Gobain Gyproc India or otherapproved euivalent make over entire surface including preparingold painted surfaces by thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper/acrylic emulsion / white wash etc, filling up the cracks, crevices,depression, holes etc, including sand papering and making surfaceseven and smooth dusting /cleaning , scaffolding , covering thefurniture etc with tarpaulins or eqivalent covering materials,cleaning of all surfaces etc.& disposing of debris outside colonyetc.complete as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.
Providing & applying acrylic oil bound distemper in two or more coats on old / new surfaces at all floors, levels & location using ready mixed & ready made acrylic oil bound distemper of approved make and shade including one coat of approved cement primer (water thinnable) including labour, material, scaffolding, surface preparation, cleaning etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- Acrylic distemper shall have VOC content less than 50 grams/ litre) On Old Surfaces (Including thoroughly scrapping, removal of old paint, if any, sand papering & preparing the surfaces, applying approved putty for touch up to fill up crevices mild depression etc, necessary covering material (tarpaulin etc), cleaning, removal of splashing & droppings of floors, wall, ceiling, doors & windows etc & disposing of debris at directed place inside colony. )
Painting old steel/wood work with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make over one coat of primer including preparing surfaces, filling with putty wherever required and cleaning etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.
a) On wooden surfaces with two finishing coat
b) On steel surfaces with two finishing coats over a coat of steel primer.
WATER PROOFING WORK Providing & Applying seamless Acrylic based chemical waterproofing system with minimum 1 mm DFT (dry film thickness) including surface preparation as per general notes, primer coat, reinforcing membrane (polycon based fibrous waterproofing net) and multiple layers of chemical coat, removing the existing damaged w/p treatment, if any, disposing of debris outside premises, all complete as per the manufacturers specifications and as directed by EIC, using any of the following waterproofing systems 1) Smartcare Damp Proof of M/s Asian paints 2) Dr. Fixit Newcoat of M/s Pidilite 3) Brushbond Roof Guard of M/s Fosroc 4) ShaliCryl® LM HI of M/s STP Limited, all confirming to the following technical requirements: Chemical properties: Sp. Gravity : 1 +/- 0.2 Tensile strength @ 14 days : 0.5 N/mm2 to 1.0 N/mm2 Elongation : 100% minimum UV Resistant : Continuous 500 hrs (min) as per ASTM D 4587 (i) Over terrace slab, top of water tank and parapet etc. at all levels
PH WATER SUPPLY/DRAINAGE WORKS Supply and fixng follwing size type-B, PVC UV -Stabilised soil/waste quality pipes and fittings for soil, waste vent,antisyphonaege pipe and rain water pipelines of M/S SUPEREME or PRINCE pipesconsisting folowing ites of work:- i) Including providing and fixing elbow at the roof level ,PC jali/grating and finishing smooth wih cement polymer mortar and water proofing chemical coating to make the joint water tight. ii)Providing andfixing PVC UV-Stabilisd Soi/Waste pipe as pr latest IS:13592 and fiting IS:14735 Grade-B laid in floor & on Exposed faces of wall of Supreme make or equivalent approved make. iii) Fixing the pipeline vertically by Metal clams with rubber seal of Supreme make Cat. No. SWRMCR 1 to 6. iv) Providing and fixing PVC cowl at the top of soil, waste water & vent pipe line. v) Laying the pipe below floor/ground to proper slope and gradient for making connections of soil pipe line with inspection chamber or Manhole, waste water connection with Gully trap Chamber including the cost of cement mortar, cement concrete, water proofing compound etc. vi) Jointing the pipe with Solvent Cement & Rubber ring gaskent (Rubber ring conforms to IS 5382) with making holes in walls / floor grooving and redoing the same and brick support etc. Giving water-tightness test for the pipes laid as per codal provisions. Providing Ring Joint pipes at verticals and solvent cement jointed pipes at consealed locations. vii) Necessary cutting to the required length including short pieces, fittings with & withourt door, assorted fittings such as plugs, tees, couplers, reducers, cross tees, reducing tees, elbows, bends, cleaning pipe, single & doube Y, vent cowl, WC connectors, offsets etc. vill) Dewatering the pit / trench if necessary, till completion of work. i)110mm Pipe SN-8 quality
MISC. ALUMINIUM WORK Supplying and fixing in position at all floors, levels & locations, aluminium section [extruded] for aluminium Door / windows sliding / top hung/fixed / grill/ adjustable louvered/ windows as per drawing of approved manufactures with extruded sections of Jindal / Indal / Aluminax or other approved eqivalent sections with size and weights as shown in the drawing, for frames and shutters [including wastages if any] conforming to relevant I.S specifications, with all approved shade & colour anodised aluminium fittings and accessories, locking arrangements, 2 / 3 rollers with ball bearings for sliding shutters of approved quality all as shown in the drawing, including providing and fixing aluminium channel beading / glazing clips fixed with necessary matching anodised screws, grouting the gap with thermocole & polysulphide sealant etc. all complete generally as per drawings, specifications etc., all as directed by Engineer in charge. but excluding the cost of glazing,which will be paid separately. (Note:- Sliding window sections for both track & Shutters shall be of JINDAL DELUXE DOMAL SERIES or similar equaivalent approved make. ) Using integrated anodised (of approved colour & Shade) having glossy/matt finished [Minimum anodic coating of 15 micron thick (Grade AC-15)] aluminium section.
Providing and fixing following type of approved quality glass panes for doors/windows/ventilators/louvers, of approved manufacturer and fixing with aluminium frame work including fixing aluminium channel beading (to be paid under relevent item) and providing and fixing with 2 way EPDM gasketing , to ensure water and air tightness and neoprene cushions/ gasket accommadated in grooves, necessary bronze anodised screws etc, all complete generally as per drawings specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Only clear opening of glass shall be measured for payment.
