CLEANING OF UG SUMP OHT TANKS AND SERVICE TANKS AT BLDGS REPLACEMENT OF FLOAT VALVES PUMP HOUSES AT MD AND OTM ACCN AT AUNDH UNDER THE AOR GE MH AND RH KHADKI

Disconnecting existing tanks exc 500 Ltr and not exec 1000 Ltr setting aside (or lowering if required) water tank, dewatering, cleaning and removeing all dirt, scale and algae formation from inside the tank by using cleaning chemicals including fixing stickers mentioning "TANK CLEANED ON " with date, month, & year. The stages of cleaning prosess of tanks are as follows :- (a) To drain out the water by using exist valve or high capacity dewatering system. (b) Cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank by using TERBAC G-5/NB-10/INCHLOR-5 chemicals and scrubbing the walls & base of the tank by scrubber. (c) Fresh water cleaning high speed jet pump. (d) Drying the tank then first stage of bacteria screening and sterlization of the tank by using TERBAC G5/NB-60/INCHLOR-5 chemical. (e) Cleaning the floor of the water tank by heavy duty industrial vaccum clearner. (f) Second stage of bacteria screening and starilization of the tank by using ultra violet ray ejector covering 360 degree within the tank and killing all suspended bactaria (g) Third stage of bacteria screening and sterilization of the tank floor by using TERBAC G65/NB-60/INOXI-60 chemical. Note for item No 1.00:- (i) The quoted rate shall include for removal of mud, grits and deposits etc properly from site of work and on completion of work sterlisation certificate to submitted to the Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Cleaning needs to be done mechanically by authorised dealer/agent as approved by Engr-in-charge. (iii) Cleaning chemical shall also be approved by Engineer-in-charge.

Note for Item No 1 to 7: (i) The contactor shall not hamper the water supply to the resident/ user. (ii) The contractor shall also confirm the restoration of water supply from service tank after cleaning from the resident / user. (iii) Any damage during cleaning of Service tanks the same will be replaced by the contractor without any cost to the department.

Note for Item No 8: The contactor shall depute a person during the time of water supply distribution to check overflow once in a month. A record of the same shall be maintained by the contractor.

S&F in repairs galvanized iron water tubing medium grade conforming to IS 1239 (Part-1): 2004 including all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 at Incoming of the service tanks / fresh water line of kitchen complete all as required at site for branch connection including cutting threading complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge of following bore:-

M&L for preparation of plastered or unplastered, old decorated surfaces of walls and applying two coat of oil bound distemper on wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge

M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint including scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles and necessary safety measures complete for over head tanks all as specified and as directed.

M&L painting of DI pipe connected with overhead tank exc 10cm width or girth & applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint including preparation of steel surfaces complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fittings in replacement of gun metal gate / globe valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe fixed in the inlet / outlet of the service tanks complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
