(ii) 2nd layer of 25 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions. (iii) Finishing top with stone aggregate of 10 mm to 12 mm nominal size spreading @ 8 cudm/sqm thoroughly embedded in the 2nd layer.

Providing and laying integral cement based treatment for water proofing on the vertical surface by fixing specified stone slab 22 mm to 25 mm thick with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS:2645 in recommended proportions with a gap of 20 mm (minimum) between stone slabs and the receiving surfaces and filling the gaps with neat cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound and finishing the exterior of stone slab with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) 20 mm thick with neat cement punning mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion complete at all levels and as directed by Engineer-in-charge :

Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying :
(a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours.
(b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours.
The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry.
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations:
(a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment.
(b) Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineerin- charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 coarse sand ) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineerin- charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs.
(c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge.
(d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep.
(e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test.“All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge :
With average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm.
Providing and applying crystalline mortar by mixing in the ratio of 4.5 : 1 (4.5 parts crystalline mortar : 1 part water) for the treatment of faulty construction joints, cracks, tie rod holes and spalled & honeycombed surface of RCC underground structures like basement, water tanks, bridge deck etc. to ensure water tightness. The crystallie mortar shall conform to the EN 1504-3 having compressive strength Class R4 ?45 MPa and adhesive bond strength Class R3 ?1.5 MPa. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in-charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage.
For patching of tie rod holes, prepared tie rod hole surface and then primed the area with integral crystalline slurry @0.070kg/sqm and while the surface is tacky repair and then filled the tie rod holes with crystalline [email protected] per hole. The crystalline mortar should be tightly rodded into tie rod holes or packed tightly (For 25x25x25 mm tie rod hole, use 0.040kg to fill the hole).
Providing and fixing Heat Resistant Terrace Tiles (300 mm x 300 mm x 20 mm) with SRI (solar refractive index) > 78, solar reflection > 0.70 and initial emittance > 0.75 on waterproof and sloped surface of terrace, laid on 20 mm thick cement sand mortar in the ratio of 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and grouting the joints with mix of white cement & marble powder in ratio of 1:1, including rubbing and polishing of the surface upto 3 cuts complete, including providing skirting upto 150 mm height along the parapet walls in the same manner.

Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Single / double glass panes, wire mesh and silicon sealent shall be paid separately).
Note: For uPVC frame and sash extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made.

Microwave cured EPDM gaskets to accommodate glass thickness as per structural requirement, weather sealants, SS 310 grade screws of approved make, all in complete required to perform as per specification and drawing in conjunction with BOQ. Complete system shall be warranted for minimum 10 yr. against design & workmanship defects.
The extruded aluminium sections of Alloy 6063 T5 / T6 & tolerances confirming to DIN / EN standard, of approved architectural sizes , from approved extruder. Providing and fixing non load bearing fixed frame for fire resistant glazed Partition for 120 minutes Fire Rating, made out to a profile of dimension 60mm x 70 mm of 1.6 mm thick galvanised steel sheet as per test evidence suitable for fixing fire rated glass for 120 minutes of both integrity & radiation control (EW120) & minimum 20 minutes of insulation (EI20).The profile has to be fixed to the supporting construction by means of anchor fasteners of size M10 x 80, every 150 mm from the edges and every 500 mm (approx) c/c. Linear measurement of frame shall be measured for payment. The maximum glazing size shall not be more than 1100x2200 mm (w x h) or 2.42 sqm.

Designing the Semi Unitised Structural Glazing System as per design intent, preparation of shop drawings for approval, supply, fabricate, erect as per approved shop drawings at all floor levels and all floor heights including conducting field test as per the test criteria set out in the Particular specification (Methodology should be got approved by the dept officials). Design the framing system (ie.Male & Female frame) to support Vision panels, Spandral panels either with Glass or Aluminium composite panel, openable window panels on a continuous framing supported between floors. Also design the split framing unitised glazing system in case of Strip or Punched windows with vision panel proposed with either Insulated / Monolithic Glass. Groove width in the system both in horizontal and vertical shall not be more than 20mm.Glazing of panel shall be done only at factory at the controlled atmosphere. Vertical in-situ glazing shall not be carried out during construction / erection stage.
I. DESIGN:
a. Design: Design pre-assembled aluminium semi Unitised Structurally glazed Panel / strip / punched window system to any shape and profile to with stand a design wind pressure (Test pressure shall be 1.5 times of the design wind pressure) conforming to IS 875 - Part-3 and Lateral forces as per IS 1893 (Latest Revision) and fixed at horizontally / vertically / sloped / curved position etc as shown in the drawing by using Aluminium extrusion, Glass, Spacer tape, Gasket and Sealant as specified. System shall be designed with Air Pressure equalization chamber and concealed continuous gutter vertically and horizontally at all levels as self drainage barrier to achieve water tightness besides providing EPDM Gaskets as air & water barrier.
b.System: System shall be designed to withstand a design wind pressure specified above with self-bearing modular elements supported between floors, EPDM Gaskets to prevent the system from Air & water penetration , double adhesive spacer tape, backer rod, sealant, supporting brackets (Resistance to design wind pressure), Seperator Gaskets for Bi-Metallic Corrosion, Pressure equilization chamber in the system, built-in continuous internal drainage gutter for collection and facility at lowest floor level to drain out penetrated water, in built adjustability to accomodate thermal expansion,thermal movement and movement due to any other forces. System shall be designed with open groove joint system and the aluminium member and Sealant shall not be visible on the external surface except colour anodised aluminium holder to the required width and thickness as per design at bottom of panel as Dead load support to the Glass panel.
c. Movement : System shall be designed to accommodate movement due to any force including the movement resulting from the exterior skin temperature ranging from 15 to 85 deg.celsius, Interior skin temperature ranging from 15 to 30 deg.celsius, and also to accommodate the horizontal building movement of 10 mm per panel & vertical movement of 20 mm between floors on the aluminium framing system with support brackets, glass, gaskets and fastening devices. System shall be designed to accommodate the size and shape of the glass panels as per the approved drawings including approved modifications as may be required during execution as well as all other incidental forces and stresses likely to be experienced under service conditions, i.e. Lateral force, Dead weight and Thermal expansion due to building movement both vertical & horizontal etc.
II. MATERIALS:
a.Frames: Providing and fixing pre-assembled aluminium frame work (Main & child frame) designed to with stand design wind pressure and movements as specified as continuous framing system for Structurally glazed panel and split framing system for structurally glazed punched windows. Horizontals (Transom) shall be made out of specially designed extruded sections matching to the Mullion depth in such a way the Mullion and Transom flush on inside of the facade. Fabricated Mullion and Transom shall be fixed at all levels and heights as per approved shop drawing into masonry wall / RCC surface with supporting system consisting of Brackets / Clamps, fastening straps, nuts, bolts, rivets, washers and other fastening materials. Extruded section shall be designed to accomodate Insulated Glass (DGU) / Monolithic (Single) Glass and Aluminium composite panel as per the approved shop drawings. Extruded sections shall be 22843 & 22739 (H9) grade conforming to BS 4174 or IS 8147, finished with AC15 grade Architectural quality electrolytic colour anodic coating of approved colour - IS 1868.
b.Glass: Providing and fixing Insulated Glass (DGU) - 24 mm thick (6mm ST 767 or 750 Toughened glass - as approved by the Departmental officers +12mm air + 6mm clear toughened glass) / Monolithic (single) Glass - 6 mm as per specification below for both vision and spandrel panel conforming to the minimum spectral parameters as specified. Spacer for Insulated glazing unit shall be aluminium extruded profile and finished with AC 15 grade electrolytic colour anodic coating of black colour conforming to IS 1868 and filled with dry desiccant. Primary sealant shall be Poly-isobutylene (PIB) and Secondary seal shall be structural silicon sealant of DC 995 (one part) or DC 983 (two part) of Dow corning or approved equivalent. Make and thickness of Inner pane glass shall be the same as outer pane glass of DG unit.
c. Processing of Glass : Details of the processor and their facilities should be submitted to the Employer/PMC/Architect for approval. Insulated glazing unit shall be processed only by the approved Processor. All glass panes used in the glazing shall be heat strengthened conforming to ASTM C 1048. No tong marks shall be allowed in the processed glass. Necessary test certificate shall be produced by the processor to confirm the adherence of the parameters set out in the codes and standards. New substrate glass shall only be used for coating and to ensure the same, a certificate shall be produced by the contractor. Necessary clearance from the processor shall be arranged by the contractor for the inspection of Employer/PMC/Architect of the glass processing plant during the progress of glass processing.
d.Gaskets: Providing and Fixing Ethylene Propylene Divine Monomer (EPDM) Gaskets as weather strip and barrier at minimum 3 stages to ensure water and air tightness. Weather strip shall be EPDM Gaskets with shore 61/71 Grade of Sai rubber make or Osaka rubber make or approved equivalent. Necessary test certificate shall be produced by the Contractor.
e.Sealing: Providing and applying the structural sealent for the glazing at factory confirming to the thickness & bite of sealants as designed & determined by calculation, verified and tested by Manufacture's of sealant. Bite and thickness shall be designed to withstand 3 times of the stress caused by the design wind pressure and the Design calculation of sealant manufacturer shall be produced along with shop drawing for approval.Supplying and fixing the Double Adhesive spacer tapes for glazing the panel at factory shall be open cell polyethlene and it shall be approved tape equivalant. Jointing / Sealing shall be done with Non structural (weather) sealant / Non staining sealent of DC 789 HP of Dowcorning make or approved equivalant with Polyurethene baker rods of Supreme make or approved equivalant. Acetoxy sealent shall not be used for Structural Glazing application. In general, the type of sealant shall be as follows:
Shop / Factory Sealants : i) Structural sealant shall be DC 995 (one part) ii) Non-Structural (weather) sealant shall be DC 789 HP of Dow corning make(one part) or approved equivalent. Colour - Grey or Black colourii) Non-Structural (weather) sealant shall be DC 789 HP of Dow corning make(one part) or approved equivalent. Colour - Grey or Black colour
Field Sealants : i) Structural Sealant shall be DC 789 (one part) or DC 995 (one part) of Dow corning make or approved equivalent. ii) Non-Structural (weather) sealant shall be DC 789 HP of Dow corning make or approved equivalent. Colour - Grey or Black colour iii) Structural anad non structrual sealent (weather) sealant dow corning or approved equivalent Colour - Grey or Black colour
i.Top Hung windows: Providing and fixing the shutter with Multi point locking handle without key - Model no 610 KH at centre of the transom having a size of 110 x 27mm of Aluhalpha make or approved equivalant and shall made out of aluminium die cast with powder coat finish - 65 microns, matching to the transom profile colour. Rate shall include the shutter frame as designed, EPDM gaskets, all hardwares like hinge, stay and handle with key, fastening materials, all other necessary materials etc.
j.Off-Site proto type Test: Provide shop drawings and design calculation to carry out the full Scale off site proto type at an approved Laboratary in india based on the Design Criteria set out in the Technical specification and confirming to ASTM E 330. Methodology along with shop drawing shall be submitted for the approval of Employer/PMC/Architect.
Conduct full scale off-site proto type test as per design creteria set out in the Technical specification and confirming to the standards as per ASTM E 330. Necessary clearence from the Laboratary to inspct the test and the contaractor shall arrange for the inspection of Employer/PMC/Architect to witness the test during the test is in progress including the expenses incurred for the Inspection of the team. If off-site proto type test fails, correct the defects revealed to the satisfaction of the performance data as set out in the Technical Specification with prior approval of Employer/PMC/Architect on defects rectification Methodology. Upon approval of methodology retesting shall be done at laboratory to the satisfaction of the performance data as set out in the Technical Specification with prior approval of Employer/PMC/Architect. Any charges on account of rectification of test specimen and test rig due to failure of the test shall not be paid for.
Semi Unitized Structural glazing system and Associated works : Quote rate for complete system as mentioned above for the items covered below including glass fixing, INCLUDING cost of glass, etc.,
Note : The following perfomaance test are to be conducted on sstructural glazing system if areaa of structural glaazingg exceeds 2500 sqm from the certified llaborattories accrediated by NABL (National Accrediation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories), Department of Science & Technologies India.. Cost of testting is payable separately. The NIIT approving authority will decide the necessory of testing on the basis of cost of the work, cost of the test and importance of the work. Performance TTesting of Structural glazing system tests tto be conducted in the NBL Certifies laboratories. 1. Performance Laboratory Test for Air Leakage Test (-50pa to - 300pa) & (+50pa to +300pa) as per ASTM E-283-04 testing method for a range of testing limit 1 to 200mVhr. 2. Stataic Water Penetration Test. (50pa to 1500pa) as per AStTME-331-09 testing method for a range upto 2000ml. 3. Dynamic Water Penetration (50pa to 1500pa) as per AAAMA 501.01- 05 testingg method for a range uptto 2000ml. 4. Structuraal Performaance Deflection and deformation by static air pressure test (1.5 times desing winf pressure without any failure) as per ASTME-330-10 testing method for the raange upto 50mm. 5. Selsmic Movement Test (upto 30mm) as pere AAMA 501.4-09 testing method for Qualitative test Tests to be condducctedd on ssite. 6. Onsite Test for Water leakagge for aa pressure range 50kpa to 240kpa (35psi) uptto 2000 ml.
Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Polishing in high gloss/matt finish melamine clear polish on wood work in required color/wooden shade texture with following process in the sequence as detailed below:
1. The surface to be polished is rubbed with sand paper 80/120 no. and then with sand paper of 160/180 nos.
2. Applying two coats of sealer with spray gun and allowing sufficient drying time for 1st coat and 2nd coat is allowed to dry for 8 to 12 hrs.
3. On drying of sealer coat, wet rubbing with emery cloth of finer grading with ample water to remove excess sealer layer and make the surface further smooth after this wet rubbing, then surface is applied with special grade melamine fillers to fill all the small and big holes/grooves etc. Filler coat to be allowed to dry for 4 to 6 hrs on which again a light wet rubbing is done this surface is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs.
4. On this, 1st coat of melamine polish is applied with spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner in required proportion. This 1st coat is allowed to dry for 24 hrs then this dry surface is again fine wet rubbed smooth, which is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. The final melamine polish is applied with compressor pressure spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner mixed in required proportion complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Final coat to be done in 1 or 2 layers without gap of time.)

The car park ventilation systems shall be controlled by an individual CO-Monitoring system for entire car park located on each level to optimize efficiency. Design, fabrication, assembling, wiring, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of following LT panels fabricated out of 14 guage CRCA sheet steel in cubical formationwith reinforecment of suitable size angle iron and channel T iron flats. All steel material used in the construction of panels shall be powder coated. A solid busbar shall be provided at the bottom of the panel with two connecting eyes for termination. The boards shall be suitable for 415 volts, 50 Hz, 3 phase , 4 wire supply system. All the hardware used in the fabrication of the panel shall be galvanized with zinc passivation. The panel shall be compartmentalized to accommodate one feeder in each compartment. A vertcal cable alley of suitable width shall be provided to serve on or two vertical feeder sections.
