Hull/Underwater/ Other General Routines

Clean underwater hull, propellers and ASD drives.

Clean all sea water strainers. Replace if damaged

Repair of minor damage to the hull, if any.

Service motors of all fresh water, sea water and bilge pump.

Service all pumps including W.C. pump.

Service windlass motor.

Check / clean / repair / lubricate hinges, clips and retention catches of hatches, manholes and doors. Care is to be taken that the rubber sealing’s are free from paint and grease.

Look for looseness of handrails screws / nuts & bolts. Tighten if required.

Inspect GRP hull for general condition, in terms of cracks, small chips, de-lamination etc. Repair of minor damage to the hull.

Remove, repair and make good all underwater valves and gratings, replace, if required.

Sand down hull to bare fiber, recoat with epoxy and repaint with two layers of antifouling paint.

De-sludging of fuel tanks and cleaning of fuel tank and fresh water tank.

Replace joints of all the fresh water and fuel tanks.

Paint Deck, Machinery, Engine Room and interior of the vessel.

Varnish all furniture components and dry cleaning of all the upholstery.

Rubber beading/seals of all upper deck hatches/doors/ windows/port holes to be inspected for water tight integrity and to be replaced if required.

Paint anchor & anchor chain cable.

Floor mats to be repaired, if required replace.

Fuel gauge servicing / repairs.

Replacement of fire hose and nozzle

Check the operation of echo sounder, make good if not working.

Up rooted MF/HF antenna to be fitted at the mast

Replacement of WC seat cover and flush motor

Make all general lightings operational.

Broken window glasses in the wheel house (02 Nos) are to be replaced and all window glasses to be secured for gas tight integrity.

Defective steering wheel mechanism of Fly bridge steering wheel is to be repaired.

Protective tarpaulin covers for Wheel house, Fly Bridge and engine room hatches to be provided as per the actual measurement.

Hydraulic Steering Gear with Trim Cylinders and other associated Systems –Arneson Surface Drive System – ASD-14 B1L.

Check for leakage of oil from the thrust tube joint of the ASD drives and rectify, if required. Also check the condition of the bellows if required replace.

Check operations of Trim Cylinders, hydraulic cylinders and trim tab arrangement, defects, if any, to be rectified.

Replace all sacrificial underwater anodes.

Replace hydraulic oil filter

Check transom fastener of socket trim cylinders and steering cylinders

Change drive oil

Check tightness of thrust ball retaining ring

Check propeller condition

Replace hydraulic hoses

Check nipples on trim and steering cylinders, replace if worn out.

Air Conditioning Systems

Cleaning of Air trunkings of Air Conditioning system.

Servicing of all AC units and make all AC units operational

Servicing / overhauling of 02 No AC sea water pumps and sea water cooling pipe lines to be checked, replace if necessary.

Main Engine

Up-normal sound is observed in Stbd main engine, suspected misfire, to be rectified.

Both engines sea water cooling system to be serviced.

Generator C 2.2

Generator is presently non-operational to be made operational and 500 hourly routines also to be carried out.

Communication and Navigational equipment required to be replaced.

VHF set – ICOM make, model ICM-M304 which is obsolete and its upgraded model IC-M330G model is available.

Radar – Raymarine

NAVTEX

Replacement of radar displays C-80 and C-120

Echo sounder to be checked for its operational condition during docking, if found defective is to be replaced.

GPS to be checked for its functionality if required replace.

Major Fire Fighting System

Engine room Major Fire Fighting system Fireboy is non-operational required to be operationalised.

Batteries

All 08 (12 V, 200AH) batteries are outlived its residual life, required to be replaced.
