All steel members to have ISI mark and should be endorsed with “Manufacturer lab test certificate”. 9. Liasoning and coordination with HSIIDC for pegging, marking & GPS coordinate mapping, etc. all is deemed to be included in the scope of the Contractor and nothing extra shall be payable. 10. Borewell works is inclusive of Borewell permission and for which complete coordination and liasoning is the responsibilty of the Contractor. For detailed description refer item under S.No. A.34. 11. Electrical works is inclusive of Electrical permission and for which complete coordination and liasoning is the responsibility of the Contractor. For detailed description refer item under S.No. A.32.
CLEARING JUNGLE AND SURFACE DRESSING - Clearing jungle and surface dressing including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal and disposal of rubbish/ trees/ grass, etc. for all leads within the GAIL site premises and adjoining area around the periphery.
EARTHWORK EXCAVATION (SOIL) - Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas and in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lift within the GAIL site premises; including getting out and disposal of excavated earth for all leads and for all lift within the GAIL premises, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. FILLING AVAILABLE EARTH - Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, for all leads and for all lift within the premises.
DISPOSAL OF MALBA - Disposal of malba/ moorum/ rubbish/ rock/ surplus black cotton soil/ similar unserviceable/dismantled or waste material away from the site including conveyance of materials for all leads away from the site, and corresponding required lift, loading, unloading etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (The quantity considered shall be net quantity of capacity of truck after deduction of 20% for looseness) (considering the disposal is to be done at designated area assigned by local authority as per prevailing norms at Contractor's own responsibility including any royalties, etc. all) By mechanical transport including loading, unloading and stacking. (For all Leads away from the site)
GOOD EARTH FILLING - Excavating, supplying stacking, filling and compaction of Locally available good earth (including royalty) by mechanical transport for all lead including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm and compacted complete. The measurement will be taken of final compacted thickness layer for payment. The rate shall be inclusive of all royalties, duties, mining cess, etc if applicable. NOTE:- Cost of rolling shall be paid separately as per item no. A.6. Survey of rate of locally available earth to be carried out by bidder before quoting.
DIESEL ROLLER 8-10 T CAPACITY - Supplying Diesel Roller along with driver of 8-10 T capacity for rolling works of Good earth soil and ground and making the surface compact and even as desired by the EIC. The rate shall be inclusive of all hire charges, fuel, lubricant, driver/operator, helper. Rate is to be quoted for minimum 8 hours working per day
JCB - SUPPLYING JCB ALONGWITH DRIVER - Supplying JCB along with driver for desired works of Good Earth soil and ground and making the surface level and even as desired by the EIC. The rate shall be inclusive of all hire charges, fuel, lubricant, driver/operator, helper. Rate is to be quoted for minimum 8 hours working per day
PCC (1:2:4) I/C SHUTTERING - Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade INCLUDING the cost of centering and shuttering - All work at all level- under floor, bed concrete, foundation, DPC, coping, foundation, grading, flooring, cover slab, path, plan areas, string or lacing courses, parapets, bed blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor etc : 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (as per IS 383) : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)
MS ANGLE POSTS/ STRUTS - Supplying at site Angle iron post (Fencing post - 'Y' joint - MS (Mild Steel) angle 65x65x5mm of required length including slant height of 0.65m and 0.75m on either side of the ‘Y’ neck and weight not less than 4.90 Kg per RM. The vertical height of the fencing post will be not less than 2.85 m. The 0.65m slant height portion will be cut and bend to shape with 0.75m slant portion welded to make the ‘Y’ neck with an internal angle of 90 degree, The height of the fencing post from the ‘Y’ neck to the GL is 1.80m and 0.60 m shall be embedded below GL. Eight Nos notches with 150mm spacing to the angle both side at the ‘Y’ neck portion. The vertical portion shall have four holes for fixing of nuts and bolts at a distance of 600mm centre to centre starting 100 mm above from bottom (from NGL) to hold chain link fence, horizontal bar and vertical MS flat of size 50x5mm of 1.80 m long (Every post embedded in PCC 1:2:4) of size 600mm x 600mm x 600mm in which post depth inside PCC is 450 mm)) & strut (MS (Mild Steel) angle 50x50x5mm of required length having weight not less than 3.80Kg per RM, will be provided to support vertical post on inner or both inner & outer side of fence at every 10th pole/ corners/ change of direction as per the site requirement and directions of Engineer-In-Charge. A vertical piece of angle of length 200 mm will be bending at the top of strut. including making two Nos holes of 15mm dia at the top to enable to fix with vertical post with nut & bolts at a distance of 100mm centre to centre starting 50mm from top (Every strut embedded in PCC (1:2:4) of size 600mm x 600mm x 600mm in which strut depth inside PCC is 450 mm)). IS:2062/92 grade ‘A’ material. including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10 mm dia. etc. complete. (MT means Metric Tonne in Unit)
CHAIN LINK FABRIC FENCING - Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of size of single chain link fence fabric - 1.80 mtr x 14 mtr mesh wire in mesh size 50x50 mm including strengthening with 2 mm dia wire or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Made of G.I. wire of dia. 4 mm The galvanized chain link fencing shall be manufactured as per BIS IS 2721:2003. Galvanizing of wire min 100 GSM as per IS: 4826. RCC (M25) I/C SHUTTERING - Providing and laying in position ready mixed (RMC) or site batched design mix (with facility of providing computerized report) cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work for structures and road work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources (sand as per IS 383), Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement,, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads and heights, inlcuding providing dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever required, laying at site, spreading and compacting, levelling to required slope/ camber, finishing with required texture, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing, making provision for contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints (10 mm wide x 50 mm deep) by groove cutting machine, providing and filling joints with approved joint filler and sealants whereever required, complete all as per direction of Engineerin-charge (Cost of item of joint fillers, sealants is included here. Cost of dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars to be paid in relevant item); INCLUDING the cost of centering, shuttering (for all elements and shuttering for slab for all heights), finishing but EXCLUDING the cost of reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. KERB STONE - Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M- 25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand as per relevant IS (like IS 383, IS 2116, IS 2250, etc.)), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment).
