Brief description of work (i) Removal of following existing unserviceable steel components of various MES pattern furniture items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and supply and fix new components in lieu of dismantled components including tightening the joints, screwing, welding, glueing, providing hinges placing every part in-tact condition as per drgs. (ii). Cleaning/ Derusting of Stain/Dirt with Sand Paper, making the Surface smooth,filling the holes with Putty wherever required and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint(colour as decided by Engr-in-charge/GE) over a coat of Red Oxide Primer for steel items including necessary preparation etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE Shillong including BSO's Furniture Yard complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All painting will be done by using Spray gun by skilled painter.

S&F new Plywood top made out of 12 mm Thick Commercial type BWR grade confirming to IS:303 with necessary screws ,nut bolts etc complete all as per existing shape,size and drawing and as specified and as directed.

Removing old unserviceable long rail from existing charpoy and S&F new long rail of 32mm dia medium grade GI pipe, and threading the same 30mm long at one end and 52mm long at other end and fixing in position complete all as shown on drawing and & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting and converting the old unserviceable long rail as retrieved from Sl No 12.02 here-in-before into two short rails and fixed to charpoy GI pipe duly threaded 30mm long at both side end including removal of old and broken short rails complete all as specified and shown on drg and & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting and converting the old unserviceable short rail into two legs as retrieved from Sl No 12.03 and fixed to charpoy GI pipe duly threaded 30mm long at one side end and providing 5 mm thick round MS plate by smooth welding to bottom of the legs after removal of old existing broken legs complete all shown on drg and & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
