MANNING AND OPERATION OF TWO NOS. LIFT WITH ITS OPERATION AT CAMP OFFICE NEAR RLY STN UNDER GE GUWAHATI

Manual operation of electrically operated lifts fully automatic capacity 13/ 10 Passengers lifts to serve any Nos of floor 16 hrs daily in two shifts from 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs & 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs including Sundays & holidays including taking care from any pilferage, theft or damage of lifts etc complete all as directed for the following building:- 02 nos of lift at 240 Transit Camp. Note :- (i) One lift Attendant to be employed in each bldg per shift. (ii)The Lift Attendant (semi skilled) duly trained for Each Shift (iii) Rescue operator having 10th pass with at least 02 (Two) years practical experience shall posses thorough knowledge to rescue user in case of emergency like anybody getting trapped in lifts (Rescue Operator) for all building - Each Shift (iv) Lift attendant shall inspect the lift and shall ensure that all the lifts neat and clean (v) Passes will be processed alongwith (after verification of antecedence of deployed employees and verified experience certificate only. Pass shall not be granted without submission of proof of well qualified lift operators & experience certificate. In case of OEM, the qualification mentioned in note is not applicable which shall be verified by Engineer-in-Charge before issue of pass) (vi) Lift Attendant also intimate the JE/AGEs for any incident noticed visually arround the bldgs for which he is employed, like drain chocke, tank overflow,crack in paster etc.. (vii) Insurance coverage, compensation if any applicable or necessitated due to mis operation of lift shall be the responsibility of contractor. The quantum of compensation shall be assessed based on the BOO composing of Lift Inspector of Assam State, representatives of both agencies carrying out M&O works and routine maintenance work of lift and members from department.) (viii) Lift operator shall be available as per the shift timings specified in the tender and he will report to JE E/M in-Charge or Cell in-Charge. In case of emergency he will function according to their direction. If he is found absent or move without intimating to in-Charge of Cell or JE E/M he will be treated as absent for the said shift and recovery to this effect for Rs 1500/- per shift shall affected. (ix) Payment as per quoted rate shall also be deducted in addition to the penalty as specified above.

(x) In case of malfunctioning if any noticed, lift operator shall intimate to the lift cell. (xi) In case of any necessity for rescue operation or accident, Rescue Operator shall be capable of rescue the passenger and reacting to the situation (accident etc) (xii) Insurance coverage, compensation if any applicable or necessitated due to mis operation of lift shall be the responsibility of contractor. The quantum of compensation shall be assessed based on the BOO composing of Lift Inspector of Assam State, representatives of both agencies carrying out M&O works and routine maintenance work of lift and members from department.

Material and labour for preventive and periodical maintenance of 01 No electric operated Thyssen Krupp make passenger lift of capacity 10 passengers suitable for serving G+4 floors (total 05 landings) with electric power operated doors, auto electric levelling device complete installed at Camp office to be maintained round the clock as described in particular specification in reliable, safe and efficient operating condition by regularly examination of lubricating and adjust the mechanical and electrical driving equipment, governer, sleeve shaft assembly, bearing / contacts & governor jaws, car & hall mechanical buttons, car & hall position indicators, car direction indicators and all other card and landing signal fixtures, deflectors, car and counter weight guide rails and buffers, equipment and carry out planned maintenance in a systematic and controlled manner using techniques and expertise consultancy including replacement of parts covered under of Thyssen Krupp company like wire, plug, lubricant, landing wheel, nut and bolts, minor welding, rubber, bushes etc. all as directed as and when required all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (a) The above maintenance of lift shall be carried out through OEMs as mentioned in Sch 'A' Note of tender documents and successfull bidder shall have to submit intent of MOU of the OEM. (b) The MOU with OEM shall have suitable clause to provide mechanic round the clock for emergency breakdown. (c) The visit & maintenance work shall be got executed through manufacturer's authorised technicians of the lift. (d) The spare parts shall be measured & paid separately on requirement basis as "Supply only" under BOQ item Nos 3 to 27 (e) Inspection report/ service report for each month will be acceptable from authorised technical representative of OEM only

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of flat shielded travelling cable suitable for existing 10 Passenger / 13 Passenger passenger lift, comprising flexible copper conductors, PVC/XLPE insulated, overall shielded and FRLS outer sheath, designed for continuous flexing movement between lift car and controller, complete with all accessories such as suspension clamps, cable hangers, terminal lugs, ferrules, glands, fixing hardware and connections. The work includes: * Dismantling and removal of existing damaged travelling cable. * Supply of flat travelling cable with adequate cores for power, control, communication and safety circuits. * Copper conductor, multi-stranded flexible type. * Overall aluminium/polyester shielding to prevent signal interference. * FRLS outer sheath suitable for lift applications. * Proper suspension arrangement and strain relief devices. * Termination at car top junction box and controller panel. * Integration with existing COP, LOP, controller and safety circuits. * Testing for continuity, insulation resistance and operational performance. * Complete commissioning of lift after replacement. The system shall comprise: * Electronic hooter/siren with minimum 85–100 dB sound output. * Rechargeable sealed maintenance-free battery. * Automatic battery charging arrangement. * Power failure operation facility. * Low battery indication. * Suitable housing with mounting arrangement. * Necessary wiring, connectors and termination accessories. * Integration with lift emergency alarm circuit. * Testing and commissioning for proper operation.The work includes: * Removal of existing defective alarm unit if required. * Fixing at designated location inside lift car. * Connection with emergency alarm switch. * Functional testing under normal and power failure conditions. * Complete commissioning. The item includes all labour, tools, tackles, consumables, transportation and accessories complete as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Lift Operating Panel (LOP) suitable for existing passenger lift system, fabricated from minimum 1.5 mm thick stainless steel hairline finish face plate complete with illuminated push buttons, up/down call registration buttons, direction indicators, LED/LCD floor position indicator, emergency/alarm button, buzzer, wiring terminals, electronic control circuitry, flush/concealed mounting arrangement, interconnecting multicore flexible copper cable, glands, ferrules, hardware and all accessories required for proper functioning of lift operation panel compatible with existing lift controller and machine. The work includes dismantling of unserviceable LOP, making good disturbed surfaces, connection with existing lift control system, testing, commissioning and commissioning trials complete in all respects as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Gate Sill and Landing Door Sill suitable for existing passenger lift system, fabricated from heavy duty extruded aluminium alloy/stainless steel section of approved make and size, complete with guide grooves, fixing brackets, anchor fasteners, packing plates, grouting materials and all accessories required for proper alignment and smooth movement of lift car doors and landing doors. The work includes dismantling and removal of damaged/unserviceable sill, cleaning of sill recess, rectification of alignment, fixing of new sill, adjustment of door guide shoes, testing and commissioning complete in all respects as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rewinding of Door Motor : Rewinding of existing lift door operator motor of suitable capacity including dismantling, opening of motor, removal of burnt winding, cleaning of stator slots, rewinding with super enamelled copper winding wire of original gauge and turns, replacement of insulation materials, slot wedges, varnishing, oven baking, replacement of bearings if required, reassembly, testing, installation and commissioning complete. The work includes checking of door operator mechanism, adjustment of opening/closing speed, lubrication and functional testing for smooth operation complete as specified and directed.
