Wall to wall Grading of entire operational area at Dibrugarh Airport, Dibrugarh

Grading of basic strip of Runway from Wall to Wall of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding upto 30cm deep as per the the garding requirements of Civil aviation CAR section 3.4.13 & 3.4.15 using motorized grader/dozer by cutting and filling in 20 cm layers watering and compacting with vibratory roller to obtain desired compacted density as per morth specifications and as per directions of engineer in charge. The work involves taking initial levels and plotting the finished level as per requirement of CAR section 3.4.13 & 3.4.15 and then grading the surface as per the approved gradient.The cut area and filled area should be compacted to desired density as approved by engineer in charge using vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonnes.vibratory Rollers of smaller widths should be used for areas where bigger rollers can't used. If exra earth is obtained in any sector area,the same to be carried to areas where shortage of earth is there for filling and nothing extra shall be paid for the same. How ever for areas earth is to be brought from borrow pits from outside the AAI premises, the same will be delt under separate item.

Extra over item No :1 for removing in equalities more than 30 cm identified as per level sheet by mechanical means like back hock loader and excavator etc. to enable transporting to filling locations for grading as per the directions of Engineer in Charge . The last 30 cm will be cut and levelled using mechanized grader/dozer etc. (Note: Loading, transportation, unloading, spreading and compacting will be covered and paid under item No: 3)

Banking of good earth provided by AAI premises (within radius of 10 km) in layers not exceeding 20cm (loose) in depth (or any thickness as approved by the Engineer-in-charge in case vibratory roller is used) including breaking clods, watering, consolidating each layer with power road roller 8-10 tonnes weight or vibratory roller of adequate capacity under optimum moisture content condition to give density not less than 95% of the maximum modified proctor lab density (as per IS 2720 Part VIII) complete including leveling, fine dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge with all leads and lifts. (The item includes cost of work, payment of necessary royalty, carriage of good earth upto work site for all leads and lifts involved. Payment to be made for compacted quantity only). Note: -The rate shall include all charges i.e. Loading, unloading & transportation of good earth from available site to required locations (Within AAI premises)

Supplying and Banking with good earth obtained from approved quarry (within radius of 10km) in embankment or depression in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, breaking clods/ over size material, removal of stumps/roots and the like & watering, grading/levelling each layer with dozers/grader and rolling every layer with vibratory roller/ earth compactor of minimum 8-12 tonnes capacity to achieve Min 95% relative compaction (field density) ( as per IS 2720 part VIII) and dressing to the required grade, camber and slope complete as per MoRth specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The item included cost of wotk, payment of necessary royalty , carriage of good earth upto work site for all leads and lifts involved . Plasticity Index (PI) of the good earth shall npt be more than 8, payment to be made for compacted quantity only)

Carriage of materials by mechanical Transport including loading,unloading and stacking Lime, moorum , building rubbish upto 5 km . (Note :- Rate will be applicable to net quantities after deduction of prescribed percentage for voids mentioned in specification under subhead carriage of materials.)

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. :Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.
