Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG - 10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/ granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.26.2)

Providing and laying 30mm - 45 mm bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG - 30 @ 5.4% per cent of mix and filler and 7% plastic waste, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 507 of per MORTH specifications [HSR 17.31.2]

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including Reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. Note:- 1. A sealing primer may be applied in advance on cement concrete pavement to ensure proper bonding. Any laitance and/or curing compound to be removed where paint is required to be applied on concrete surface. 2.Cost of painter is already included in hire charges of road marking machine (HSR 34.26) Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved thbe same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Construction of Embankment with Material Deposited from Roadway Cutting or Excavation. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2.as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications Note: In case the earth cutting is done by dozer and pushed for filling in the embankment, the input of dozer in the cost of embankment shall be deleted as the same is already provided in the cost of excavation. However, if the earth is dumped by tippers from roadway cutting, the input of dozer for spreading is required to be provided. (HSR 17.7) Notes:- 1. The item for which no rate or price has been entered in will not be paid for by the Employer when executed and shall be deemed to be covered by the other rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities (Refer: ITB Clause 13.2). 2. Unit rates and prices shall be quoted by the bidder in Indian rupees [ITB Clause 14.1]. 3. For routine maintenance, the unit rate indicated by the authority shall apply. The bidder is required to accept these rates. Further, the payment shall be performance based. 4. It may kindly be noted that the contractor would be obligated to carry out 05 years paid maintenance of Rs. 6.83 lacs as per the fixed rates mentioned as Annexure-‘A’ in the DNIT. However, the item of 05 years maintenance shall not be part of BOQ to avoid any confusion.
