Sub Work 2. Construction of 3 Nos. of culvert across Mettuvoikkal at Sudhahar Nagar Main Road, Pon Nagar, 6th Cross road near Arul Sasthalaya School and Kamban Nagar main road at Mahalakshmi Temple in Reddiyarpalayam Revenue Village, Puducherry.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms , lift upto 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed , within a lead of 50m -All kinds of soil.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.5m or part there of in - All kinds of soil.

Scarifying the existing bituminous surface to a depth of 50mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres - by mechanical means.

Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters , buttresses, plinth and string courses , fillets, columns , pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc.upto floor five level excluding cost of centering, shuttering,finishing and reinforcement: 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Plain cement concrete m-15 mix with stone aggregates 20mm nominal size mechanically mixed and vibrated in foundation upto a depth of 1.50 metres below ground level and/or 1.50 metres above ground/bed level.

Reinforced cement concrete m-20 mix with stone aggregate 20mm nominal size mechanically mixed and vibrated for reinforced concrete work in slab excluding steel reinforcement, but including centering and shuttering, laid in position.

12 mm cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix 1:3 (1cement : 3 fine sand)

Providing weep holes in brick masonry / plain / reinforced concrete abutment , wing wall / return wall with 110 mm dia PVC pipe, 6kg/sq.cm extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing foce. Complete as per drawing and technical specifications.

6mm cement plaster of mix 1:3 (1 cement : 3 ine sand).

White washing with lime to give on even shade - New work (three or more coats).

Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead - 1:3:6 or richer mix.

Demolishing R.C.C. work, including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead.

Demolishing brick work, manually / by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead - In lime mortar.

Desilting the canal by removing silt,slush and debries from the bed of the drain removing the grass, buses etc., complete in unhygenic and foul condition including diposal of the same within an average lead of 1km without polluting the environment as directed by the engineer-in-charge - by mechanical means

Providing and fixing prmoulded bitumen joint filler, for expansion joints including the cost of sealing compound and priming coat - 25 mm wide.

Centering shuttering including struttings, propping etc. and removal of form work for foundations, footings , bases for columns.- Using steel sheet with M.S.frames. Providing and laying in position cement concrete manufactured in fully automatic batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for a lead upto 10kms having continous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for plain cement concrete work including pimping of RMC from transit mixer to site of laying, excluding the cost of centering , shuttering, finishing and reinforcement including cost of admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability M-15 grade plain cement concrete by using 320kg of cement. All works upto 3.00 m below ground and upto floor 5 level. The rate including of pumping out all type of water due to seepage / flowing / stagnation and also working under foul condition etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge - by head load

Making of bundwall with HDPE cement bags filled with stone dust/quary rubbish for discharge regulation, breach closing/diversion arrangement. The rate includes the cost of empty HDPE bags, cost of stone dust, labour charges for filling the bags and placing in position of its purpose in or under foul conditions etc., . and Pumping out any type of water due to stagnation/ flowing/ seepage etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. by head load.

Providing and laying UPVC pipe of 250mm dia including transporting the pipe to work site and placing position for discharge through the drain during construction period as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Extra for providing and mixing ordinary portland cement 43 grade of approved brand and manufacture in quarry rubbish/ stone dust at the rate of 3bags of cement per cum of quarry rubbish or stone dust mixing in mechanical mixer and laying etc., under foul condition complete as directed by the Engineer- in -charge
