REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF SOLAR SYSTEM WATER HEATER AND ELECTRIC GEYSERS AT NAGROTA UNDER GE NAGROTA

Disconnecting & taking up or down the existing old unserviceable solar panel (flat collector plate ) of any description and in any position from the existing location for necessary repairs & maintenance / replacement all as directed.

Taking down existing unserviceable solar plate of any description and supply and fixing new solar flat plate collector complete of size 1800mm X 58mm for water heating capacity of 500 Ltr tank capacity, complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down old existing unserviceable thermal insulation of any description and in any position including aluminum foil cladding from GI pipe lines 15 to 25mm dia complete all as directed. (NOTE : Aluminium foil cladding obtained in serviceable condition shall be re-used in the work ).

Dismantling the solar panel (made of flat collector plates) of any description, material and labour for cleaning the glass by washing with using soft detergent, cleaning & de-scaling the inside surface of copper fins / tubes with suitable size of drill rod, wire brush & with circulating concentrated de-scaling solution(ORISCALE BLASTER) mixed with water in suitable proportion circulating through pump till the complete deposits/scale is removed and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, brazing the leaking copper tubes, fixing the copper tube & fins properly in their respective positions, reassembling the solar system after servicing / maintenance including replacement of flanges made out of gun metal, nuts, bolts & washers, gaskets etc., fixing & installation of the solar flat collector plate in position and its testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for Insulation of GI pipe 15 to 25mm dia with providing 25mm uniform thickness of glass wool fibers having density of 48 Kg per Cum, including cladding with using old serviceable aluminium foil all as directed.

Supply and fixing GI tubings medium grade 15mm bore dia ISI Mark with all fittings such as elbow, bends, sockets, nipples and union etc and fixed complete laid in trench/wall for the following sizes including taking down of existing old GI pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing 15mm Gun metal Globe or gate valve with iron wheel head screwed both ends for iron pipe including taking down existing old of the bore sizes complete all as per spd and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting & taking out existing unserviceable tap,15mm bore of any description and in any position and supply, fixing, jointing and testing, 15mm bore, concussive push button taps of cast copper alloy, chromium plated, screwed for iron pipe and fixed complete all as directed.

Disconnecting & taking out existing unserviceable non return valve, 25mm bore of any description and in any position and supply, fixing new 25mm bore non return valve, cast iron, ISI marked complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Disconnecting & taking out old existing unserviceable temperature meter of any description and in any position and supply, fixing new temperature meter, 0-100 ºC range, dial type suitable for 15mm GI pipe including all necessary fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Opening of existing aluminium cladding from tank ,cleaning and stacking the same for reuse ,taking out glass wool and repairing the stainless steel tank and repairing the leakage by means of TIG welding as approved ,refilling of glass wool ,aluminium cladding by using old aluminium sheet complete all as directed by Engr- in -charge.

Disconnecting and taking out old existing unserviceable water heating element of any description and in any position and supply, fixing new water heating element hexagonal/rectangular/circle of capacity 5 KW with suitable thermostat including all necessary fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting & taking up or down existing unserviceable copper conductor flexible cable of any size & any description and supplying, fixing, connecting & testing new 3 core copper conductor flexible cable of 2.5 sqmm size, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed suitable for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of insulated tank of 500 Ltr capacity with Electric back complete as per sample all as specified and directed by Eng in charge.

Material & labour for damaged solar collectors of copper fins / tubes with suitable size of drill rod, wire brush & with circulating concentrated , brazing the leaking copper tubes, fixing the copper tube & fins properly in their respective positions, reassembling the solar system after replacement of flanges,collectors made out of gun metal, nuts, bolts & washers, gaskets etc., fixing & installation of the solar flat collector plate in position and its testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down the water heater storage type of any make of any capacity. dismantling the water heater carefully from its position fixed on walls, reassembling the water heater after replacement of defective parts and reinstalling the water heaters to their original locations or as directed, commissioning and testing the water heater complete, all as directed by the Engr-in-charge. Note: Any material/part found unserviceable during servicing shall be replaced by the contractor and measured and paid separately under respective items.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable PVC connection of any make with (ISI Mark) having 10mm dia, 45 cm long steel reinforcement suitable for hot water geyser outlet supply with 02 Nos of Unions/ cup shaped PVC cover with washers all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable PVC connection of any make with (ISI Mark) having 10mm dia, 45 cm long suitable for cold water geyser inlet with 02 Nos of Unions/ cup shaped PVC cover with washers all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in replacement of unserviceable inner tank of 25 litres capacity water heater storage type, tank made out of copper sheet of size 22SWG, MS collar with six/seven/eight/ nine holes for fitting the flange assembly with vent pipe of brass, 3 “ long, 15 mm dia, threaded, including MS sheet ring all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as item No 27.00 here-in-before but of 50 litres capacity.

Deduction to be made from BOQ for schedule of credit (Sch 'A' Part - II) Amount of ₹ 51,135.00 during AOC Note:- Tenderers shall not quote for this Schedule
