Earth work in cutting or in embankment in ordinary soil (Loam,Clay or sand) excavation to be in the form of regular pits not exceeding 50 cm. in depth and earth work in embankment to be in 20 cm. layers, including the ramming & dressing the surface to required levels and slops and also including 1.50 meter lift and 30meter lead. the earth from cutting to be used in making embankment or to be deposited as spoil bank within 30m. distance as direction by the Engineer incharge.
