Providing Engineering Consultancy Services for "reconfiguration of existing Terminal building at Bhopal Airport " Scope of work includes :- 1. Structural feasibility for cutting of RCC structural member like slab and strengthen /supporting arrangement for existing str. member where opening has been proposed/created . 2. Structural design/drawing of staircase ,lift shaft ,wall/col. etc. including considerations for Civil Works as well as Structural Glazing i.e. toughened glass /facade system along with provision of sensor gates/ glass doors etc. as per BOQ item & site condition. 3. Design/drawing of false ceiling , ACP cladding along with supporting arrangement as per BOQ item & site condition. 4. Design/drawing for service line like water supply , sewer line ,plumbing, sanitary fittings etc. along with conceptual drawing for toilet block in accordance with BOQ item & site conditions. 5. Design/drawing/architectural pattern for finishing items like flooring, false ceiling, wall/col. cladding , painting etc. in order to improve the aesthetic look of Airport Building. Conceptual/planning drawings shall be provided by AAI. The structural drawings and designs shall be vetted from Government Engineering College/NIT/IIT in coordination with EIC/AAI . Good for construction drawing shall be issued after vetting for the execution of work at site. The cost as incurred towards vetting of the structural drawings and designs is included in this item hence no extra payment shall be made in this regard.

Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6mm angle iron or 50x50x3mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at both ends with 50cm long MS angle 40x40x6mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineerin-Charge. (Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).

Providing, erecting, maintaining and removing temporary protective screens made out of specified fabric with all necessary fixing arrangement to ensure that it remains in position for the work duration as required by the Engineer-in-charge. Wooven PVC cloth

Providing and fixing Scaffolding net of required width made of high density Polyethylene UV stabilized knitted on warp knitting machines having density 100grams/sqm and shading coefficient minimum 75% around the construction site/ for vertical extension as per requirement including fastening/tying with building/scaffolding pipes or with any other fixtures etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (One time payment shall be made for providing Scaffolding net from start of work till completion of work including shifting if any. The Scaffolding net shall be the property of the contractor on completion of the work)

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material & clearing the site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Demolishing/cutting R.C.C. work (slab etc.)by mechanical means( using cutting blades) and disposal of dismantled materials including clearing the site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Demolishing brick work by manually/ mechanical means as per site condition including taking away the serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material including clearing the site as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. In cement mortar (Agency has to quote credit rate for taking away serviceble material in the relevent item no. 127 )

Taking out existing kerb stones of all types from footpath/ central verge, including removal of mortar etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material at location as decided by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling stone slab flooring laid in cement mortar including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material at location as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling tile work in floors laid in cement mortar including stacking/disposal of material at location as directed by Engineer-in-charge. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Dismantling steel work manually by mechanical means in built up sections including stacking the dismentaled material properly & taking away the material as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. ( Agency has to quote credit rate for taking away dismentaled material in the relevent item no. 128 )

Dismantling aluminium/ Gypsum/ MDF/perlaminated board partitions, doors, windows, glazing and false ceiling including staking the usable material and taking away the serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material i/c clearing the site , staking at location as directed by Engineer-in-charge. ( Agency has to quote credit rate for taking away serviceble material in the relevent item no. 129)

Dismantling of Sanitary Fixtures water closet /Urinal/Wash Basin including clearing the site & disposal of dismentaled materials at location as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling 15 to 40 mm dia G.I. pipe including stacking of dismantled pipes as per direction of Engineerin- Charge. (a) Internal Work- Exposed on wall

Taking out existing CC interlocking paver blocks from footpath/ central verge, including removal of rubbish etc., disposal of unserviceable material to the dumping ground, for which payment shall be made separately and stacking of serviceable material at location as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as directed by Engineer-in-charge, for all leads & lifts involved.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. Providing and laying machine cut, mirror polished, Italian Marble stone flooring laid in required pattern in linear portion of the building all complete as per architectural drawings, with 18 mm thick stone slab laid over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with white cement slurry @ 4.4 kg/sqm including pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment to match the marble shade including rubbing, curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 18 mm thick Italian Marble stone slab, Perlato, Rosso verona, Fire Red or Dark Emperadore etc. as approved in required size & colour.

Providing and laying gang saw cut 30 mm thick, mirror polished pre moulded and pre polished machine cut granite stone of required size and shape of approved shade, colour and texture in footpath, flooring in road side plazas and similar locations, laid over 20mm thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) including grouting the joints with white cement mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. With granite stone of approved colour & size .

Providing & fixing acrylic solid surface in Wash Basin Counter top & Other areas, of thikness 12mm of N white S 008 colour of make Merino Hanex or equivalant , made out of non porous surfacing material homogeneously composed of 1/3 acrylic resin (also known as Poly Methyle Methacrylate-PMMA), & 2/3 Aluminium Trihydrate (ATH), Sheet size should be 12' X 2'6''( 12 feet x 2 feet 6 inch). The material will be manufactured by using high tech & computerized controlled processes divided into various units such as mixing of raw materials, Casting process on 4th generation steel belt (double belt)production technology with online quality testing process. Product will be installed as per standard guidelines & fabrication manual, The joint/grooves between sheet will be filled with "Solid surface adhesive" with same shade of sheet. as per site requirement in approved colour & finish/texture as per direction & satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
