Description of Work

REMOVAL OF OLD WINDOW ACS: Removal of old window ACs from existing location and shifting to to store as directed by EIC.

REMOVAL OF OLD WALL MOUNT SPLIT ACS: Removal of old split ACs from existing location. Scope Includes pump down of gas, safe disconnection of electricals and copper pipe lines with flair nuts. Shifting the unit and accessories to store as directed by EIC.

REMOVAL OF OLD DUCTABLE AC UNITS: Scope include pumpdown/ recovery of refrigerent, removal of old ductable AC indoor & outdoor units, connected connected pipe lines, electrical cable and shifting them to location as per direction of EIC.

REMOVAL OF OLD DUCT: Dismantling, removal, shifting & handing over of existing unwanted GI duct at GCA building to scrap yard as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. The removal and shifting shall be done for above materials with all accessories complete. All necessary scaffolding, ladders required for dismantling is in vendor scope only. (Approx. duct to be removed is 60 Sq mtr)

Installation & commissioning of 2.0 TR wall mount split AC at proposed Locations including Gas charging ,testing. Scope include : 1. Positioning of indoor unit and ODUs on brackets. 2. Making a hole in the wall for copper lines and drain lines 3. Fixing a suitable PVC pipe in the hole to route copper line and drain line through it. 4. Laying copper pipeline, drain lines through the PVC pipe fixed in the wall. 5. Brazing copper lines, flaring, wiring and conducting leak check, vacuumising and refrigerent charging and checking the performance of unit. 6. Proper closing of holes in the wall.

Supply & laying of suction and liquid copper pipes of size as recommended by OEM with proper insulation suitable to 2TR split AC.

Supply and Laying of Suitable cable as recommended by OEM to connect power supply point to ODU for 2TR split AC (Make:Polycab/ Havells /Finolex/ Gloster only)

Supply and laying of CPVC drain pipe of size as recommended by OEM with suitable bends, couplings as per site condition. Pipe line make: Sudhakar/ Finolex/ Astral/ Ashirwad

Supply and fixing of suitable Ms stands/ brackets for Outdoor units of 2TR Split ACs as per site requirement.

Installation & commissioning of 11.0 TR ductable AC at proposed Locations including Gas charging ,testing. Scope include : 1. Installation and commissioning of ductable AC indoor with suitable suspended threaded rods. 2. ODU shall be positioned on MS stand / structure as per site condition with rubber pad for arresting vibration. 3. Laying of suitable hard drawn copper pipes with nitrile rubber insulation with brazing, nitrogen pressure testing, vacuumising, charging of refrigerant. 4. Laying of power/ control cables, drain pipe 5. Fixing of fire retardent Canvas cloth with safe and leak proof connections. 6. Scope also include civil works such as opening and closing of holes in wall. Scaffolding, ladders, crane required for installation work is in vendor scope only

BRASS VALVES FOR 11 TR DUCT AC: Suply and fixing of brass valves for both suction and liquid copper lines suitable for 11TR ductable aC

SUCTION AND DISCHARGE HARD DRAWN COPPER PIPING: Supply and laying of suction and discharge hard copper refrigerent piping of size as recommended by OEM for above supplied 11TR inverter type ductable AC unit with 9mm or better nitrile rubber insulation. Scope also includes routing of pipelines with proper support by threaded rods from ceiling/ wall and C -channels etc as per site condition. Scaffolding, ladders required for installation work is in vendor scope only.

DRAIN PIPE: Supply and laying of CPVC drain pipe of size as receommended by OEM along with insualation foam for above supplied 11TR inverter type ductable AC with U-trap with suitable bends and accessories complete. Make: Sudhakar/ Finolex/ Astral/ Ashirwad

ELECTRICAL CABLE: Supply and laying of suitable armoured electrical power supply cable of size as recommended by OEM from ODU to power supply point suitable for above supplied 11TR inverter type ductable AC.Make: Finolex/ Polycab/ Gloster

ELECTRICAL CABLE/ CONTROL CABLE: Supply and laying of power/ control cable o size as recommended by OEM from IDU to ODU suitable for above supplied 11TR inverter type ductable AC unit. Make: Finolex/ Polycab/ Gloster

CANVAS CLOTH: Supply and fixing of Fire retardent canvas cloth with 150mm zip suitable for 11 TR ductable split AC

GI VOLUME CONTROL DAMPER: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of GI volume control duct damper complete with neoprene rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts, screws linkages, flanges etc, as per specifications of 18G.

GI FIRE DAMPER WITH FUSIBLE LINK: Supply and fixing of GI fire damper with fusible link as per site condition.

TRAP DOOR FOR DUCTABLE AC INDOOR UNIT: .Supply and fixing of suitable trap door with frame fixed from ceiling and matching with the existing false ceiling as directed by EIC. Trap door shall be of size such that the indoor can be easily accessable during servicing. Door shall be made metal/ PVC material and shall be provided with locking system

Sucessful offer that is L-1 (Lowest offer) will be determined including GST.

The payment terms shall be governed as per the terms indicated in General conditions of contract.

Amount towards GST will be paid along with RAR payment against invoice.

The tenderers are requested to abide by the rules of prevailing GST act.

This BOQ specification has to be read in conjunction with technical specifications and tender drawings if any. Any ambiguty in these have to be brought to the knowledge of contract section before submission of tender to avoid future claims/dispute.
