Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as directed.

M&L, Priming roof surfaces and applying water proofing treatment over roofs comprising of the following complete all as specified & as directed:- (a) Applying oil bound bituminous primer at the rate of 0.4 Ltrs/Sqm as per IS 3384-1986 on prepared surfaces. Surface shall be kept free till the moment, the primer is impregnated and the solvent oil in primer is evaporated. (b) Applying one coat of hot straight run bitumen @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm of grade 30/40 confirming to IS-73 (Grade S-35). (c) Laying 3mm thick APP polymeric water proofing membrane of weight not less than 3.0 kg/sqm, black finish reinforced with non woven polyster matt, with a thermo fusible finish, torching overlaps with a propane or a butane gas torch, with a overlap of 75mm at sides and 100mm at the ends and sealing including applying a coat of cold emulsion bituminous primer all as per manufacturer's instruction including preparation of surface. (d) Applying one coat of hot straight run bitumen grade 30/40 (Grade S-35) conforming to IS-73 @ 1.20 kg/Sqm. Make: "(a) Mukti-Plas-M/s Texas (b) Shalimar Tar Products (c) Tikitar (d) Torch Tar (e) Hyperplas from IWL India Ltd (f) STP Ltd as approved by GE.

Note :- The water proofing treatment shall be got carried out by the manufacturer or their authorised applicators. The contractor shall give 10 years guarantee for effectivenss of water proofing treatment, 2.5% of work done amount of this item shall be retained from contractors payment for a period of 10 years reckoned from date of physical completion of this work, or inlieu contractor may deposit bank FDR for the said amount for 10 years which shall be released by GE on expiry of satisfactory completion of 10 years period.

M & for Plain Cement Concrete Type B1 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) in roof kerbs, mud stops or chamfered on edges.

M&L for removing plants/ herbs grown on wall/ junctions/ CI pipe tee junctions or any where on multistoreyed buildings with roots duly cuttings necessary holes and applying herbicide chemical and making good of the existing brick/concrete surfaces complete all as specified and direced (Note : 1. Each plants/herbs including treatment as mentioned shall be measured seperately as one unit(i.e one Job .2 Necessary scaffolding/Rope deemed to be including in the unit rate)
