Construction of Maintenance holes of different depths as per type design/drawing along sewer lines and provided with tight fitting FRC manhole frames and covers of 600 mm dia., of approved make and quality including supply and fixing of encapsulated PVC foot steps. The manhole shall be of brick work (with approved chamber class II bricks of size 9" X 43/8" x 23/4" in CM 1:3 and plastered with CM 1:3, 20mm thick inside and 12mm thick outside as per type design with foundation concrete 250mm thick in CM 1:4:8 using 40mm HBG. Benching and channeling should be provided in the manhole and suitable diameter pipes for House service connection (Not exceeding 6 Nos. for each manhold) to be left in the Maintenance holes as directed by the Engineer in- charge. The rate shall include earthwork, backfilling, and removal of surplus earth and depositing within 500m, de-watering wherever necessary, barricading, provision of danger lights etc., complete as per standard specification and directed by the Department Engineer. Construction of Maintenance holes of different depths (using Sulfate Resisting Cement) as per drawing or approved type precast RCC Manhole chamber along sewer lines and provided with tight fitting FRC manhole frames and covers of 560 mm dia., of approved make and quality including supply and fixing of encapsulated PVC foot steps. The manhole shall be of Reinforced cement concrete of M30 mix (by using sulphate resistant cement) using 10mm to 20mm ISS gauge HBBG metal from the approved quarry including mixing, laying, consolidating, curing cost and conveyance of all materials to site with inner smooth finishing, Benching and channeling should be provided in the manhole and suitable diameter pipes for House service connection to be left in the Maintenance holes as directed by the Engineer in-charge. Lowering the following size of MS encasing pipe by using Contractor’s crane and machineries and jointing MS pipes by welding, across the National Highways/State Highways/ Railways/Canal crossing etc and driving the horizontal bore by pushing / jacking method (trenchless technology method) using contractor’s machineries such as cranes, jacks, jacking materials, generator, welding machineries compressor, jack hammer and other equipments etc. without interfering and causing any hindrance to the movement of traffic or any other vehicles, without any disturbances to the railway/road/canal formation etc. including bailing / pumping of water where ever necessary without affecting any installation like water supply pipeline/telephone cable, electric cables etc. passing nearby area and scooping the earth inside the pipes and pit and depositing the surplus earth in a convenient place and leveling the site after completion of entire work as directed by CMWSSB Engineers. The rate includes the cost of driving pit, thrust bed/wall and receiving pit to the depth of om to 2m excluding the cost of MS pipes.
