Rehabilitation, Improvement and Basic Facility of Gundurapasi Dam in Dhenkanal District of Odisha under DRIP-II

Clearing shrub jungles uprooting stumps and small bushes and trees 1 M girth on premeasurement …etc Complete as per the direction of the Engineer- in -Charge

Excavation ,loading,unloading and carriage by mechanical means of all kinds of soil including stoney earth , gravel and moorum etc interspread with boulders upto 1/2 cum size with all lifts and delifts including trimming of slopes and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from site as per the specification and as directed by the E.I.C within an initial lead of 2 km from the place of excavation complete.

Excavation of foundation in all kinds of soil to proper section and profile with all leads, lifts and delifts including dressing and levelling the bed to proper slope and level and making it fit for laying concrete and depositing the excavated materials away from the work site with all leads, lifts and delifts including dewatering if necessary from foundation with all labour and T&P required for the item complete in all respect as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in Ordinary soil with all leads and lifts , laying in layers not exceeding 0.3m in depth including rough dressing & breaking clod minimum 5cm to 7 cm…. etc complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-charge of the work..

Excavation of all kinds of soil including moorum, stoney earth, gravel etc. excepting all kinds of rock and boulders exceeding 0.014cum in volume for dam base stripping, cut-off trenches, outfall drains and stripping in borrow area including rough dressing and dumping the excavated material away from work site manually within initial lead and lift including stacking the useful material as directed.

Excavation of any approval type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the soil within initial lead of 1km on properly prepared and scientifically approved suface including spreading and compaction with sheep foot roller and sozers but excluding watering and compaction in dams and dykes for all heights including construction , maintainance, watering & lighting of haul road and borrow area as per the direction of EIC. i) Compacting rolling the earth work by PRR to proper section and profile with watering to all heights as directed by the Engineer -in-charge

Excavation of any approval type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the soil within initial lead of 1km on properly prepared and scientifically approved suface including spreading and compaction with sheep foot roller and sozers but excluding watering and compaction in dams and dykes for all heights including construction , maintainance, watering & lighting of haul road and borrow area as per the direction of EIC. i) Compacting rolling the earth work by PRR to proper section and profile with watering to all heights as directed by the Engineer -in-charge

Fine dressing and turffing the slope of dam and dyke with best compacted dub grass with 5 ( five ) extra lead and 2 ( two ) extra lift over initial lead and lift…………etc. complete.

Removing old revetment and approns and repacking with old stones including spalls for filling and wedging of all materials required for the work and finished to proper slope and level complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Puddle filling of good clay for earthen blanket including intial lead of 50m and 1.50m intial lift as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.
