REPAIR AND MAINT OF CENTRIFUGAL, SUBMERSIBLE, MONOBLOCK PUMPSET AND MISC ITEMS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF GE (A) JAISALMER

Dismantling & taking down existing centrifugal pump set from platform and disconnecting suction & delivery pipe line & electrical connections, transport the same to workshop for repair (i.e machining work, welding, grinding, turning & polishing, lathe work, filler work etc. complete as required at site) and after repairing transporting the pump set from workshop to site, installation at site connecting suction & delivery pipe and electrical connection complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge for following pumps capacity NOTE:-(i) The rate is deemed to be included the cost of providing foundation nuts, bolts & washers, gland packing, greasing, oiling and oil sheet gasket. (ii) S&F of spare parts will be measured and paid separately under relevent items of Sch 'A' . No extra payment will be made to the contractor for any additional requirement for fixing/ reinstalling the pump motor set.(iii) Gland packing, greasing and oiling should be changed at the time of repairs).

Taking down the existing motor/pump from base plate after disconnecting the electrical connection and transporting to workshop for repair (i.e machining work, welding, grinding, turning, polishing, lathe work & filler work etc.) & taking out burnt out copper winding complete and cleaning properly. Rewinding the motor with same gauge and same turn ratio for proper RPM, best quality copper enamelled winding wire and packing properly with packing materials, varnishings, drying & replacing wornout bearing/terminal plate, reassembling, fixing in it's original position, testing & commissioning & transporting after repairing complete of following sizes all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Supply only bearings will be measured and paid separetely under respective item of this schedule.

Supply and fix in repairs motor cooling fan of same size and capacity as per existing motor including all fiiting, fixtures etc as directed by Engineer-in-charge for the following : -

Lifting of electric motor from existing position after disconnection of all electrical connection for renewal of U/S bearing and applying grease after removal of old grease and re-installing at site where directed after refilling new grease and reconnecting all electrical connection and testing complete. Note : (a) Necessary payment for bearing shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (b) Quoted rate deemed to include cost of grease as per site. (c) The contractor shall lift the motors as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for normal servicing.

Supply only front / rear ends bearing of same size as existing suitable for motor including all fiiting, fixtures etc as directed by Engineer-in-charge as following size: -

Taking down mono block pump set, dismantling and taking out burnout copper winding wires after opening the motor (i.e machining work, welding, grinding, turning & polishing, lathe work, filler work etc.) & cutting of copper wire & cleaning complete with proper cleaning solution and rewinding the motor with appropriate gauge & best quality copper enamelled wire with packing material, varnishing, testing & commissioning complete for following capacity all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The other spare parts will be measured and paid separately under relevent items of Sch 'A' as supply only.

Note:- Design should be approved by Engineer-in-charge prior giving orders for manufacturing the items.

M&L plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B2 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete for foundation of motor pump set of any size and capacity complete by using 10mm thick MS Sheet of approprite size and welding proper size and length of bolt and nut in foundation for avoiding vibration at the time of operation of motor pump set complete with demolition of existing foundation and considering of alignment of motor pump set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to inclusive of necessary form work.

M&L for painting of following capacity monoblock/centrifugal with foundation (base plate to be scratched and painted) painting (all as per colour code specified) by one coat of synthetic enameled paint after cleaning and preparing surface for painting and testing complete at site on full load all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate 60×60cm ×6mm thick electrode and 25×4 mm galvanised iron strip as earthing lead, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less'than 1.5 metres below normal ground level,connected by means of brazing at bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of copper all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including all necessary earth work, excavation, earth chamber with PCC 1:3:6, Type C1 and RCC chamber cover of PCC 1:2:4 with handle and 20 mm dia GI watering pipe with funnel and wire mesh etc and testing on complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge.[i]. GI protection pipe of size 40 mm bore light grade 7.5m.

M&L for main earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in pipe and fixed to motor/Panel or any other equipment with galvanised strip 25x4 mm including taking down existing galvanised strip of any description complete all as specified and directed Engg-in-Charge. Note :- Earth continuity conductor beyond 7.5m length shall only measured under this item.

M&L for preparation of old brokage door by applying welding, painted surface of steel / iron of LT motor starter panel of any capacity by scaping with emery/sand paper,brushing, cleaning, staining grease/oily spots with thinner and applying two coats of superior quality synthetic enamel paint with spray machine over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.
