Laying D.I. pipes (All types & Class & diameter) including earth work in excavation in trenches, shoring (if necessary) of adequate width having minimum depth to keep the top surface of pipe 1.00Mtr. below of the existing ground level in any kind of soil mixed with boulder, metal crust, concrete pavement, any road sub-grade and its flank etc., dewatering the trenches, preparing the bottom surface of the trenches for continuous bedding including sand filling (if necessary) or over ground installation to cross ditches etc. supported with RCC pillars as & when necessary and fitting, fixing, jointing (all types of joints) valves, specials etc. as per requirement, in position, cutting, chamfering of pipes as required, carriage of DI pipes from departmental store to work site, constructing sluice valve chambers including supply and fitting in position sluice valve of different dia. as per requirement , permanent road restoration ( in road flank pit to be filled up with excavated earth / silver sand consolidating in layers) , guarding trenches with permanent bamboo railing for safety where necessary, emergency horizontal boring by Jack Push technique by pit arrangements including supply and laying of R.C.C. Hume Pipe of Class NP-4 as casing pipe and M.S. Pipe as Carrier Pipe across and underneath the carriageway of NH and SH road where necessary, removing the surplus materials from site including all labour charges, tools and plants, hydraulic pressure testing, cleaning and disinfection of pipes etc. complete in all respect as per IS 12288-1987 (latest edition) and instruction of E.I.C. During laying of pipe line , any existing pipe line / service line , if damaged, shall immediately to be rectified with flanged / socket Joint pipes etc. complete in all respect as per satisfaction of E.I.C. ( Only the pipes and rubber rings (gasket) will be supplied departmentally. Specials (pipe fittings) and sluice valve where necessary will be supplied by agency. For Existing DI Pipe Line; C.I.DF sluice valve PN-1.0 of different dia make with cast iron doubble flanged nonrising spindle sluice valve generely conforming IS 14846/2000 with latest ammendment if any having body door dome/bonnet and cover of cast iron Gr.F.G. 200 mm spindle of IS 6603 Gr.-12,13,spindle nut and seat rings are of gun metal as per IS 318 LTB -2 flanges flat freed & drilled to IS 1538 part IV&VI valves are suitable for maximum working pressure of 10kg /sq.cm (seat test) and body tested 15 kg /sq cm 350 NB and above valves are provided with enclosed gearbox and anifriction device of easy of operation [NB -he above item should be procured from the reputed manufacturers as per departmental approved vendors list viz-IVC,IVI,Durga,Kirloskar,Craulary& Roy,Audco & Jupitar] 100 mm Dia. For Existing DI Pipe Line; Construction of Masonary sluice valve/wash out/Air valve chamber having 12.5 cm thick precast RCC slab cover with ordinary cement concrete M-15(Mix-1:2:4)with20 mm down local hand black stone chips (crusher broken)at least in three pieces to facilitate liifing)suported on 1st class brick in cement morter 6:1 providing weep holes at the bottom including earth work in excavation single brick flat soling and weak cement concrete (1:3:6) with jhama khoa(30 mm size) as per approved design and drawing etc. complete as per direction of the EIC.
