Note (1): The steel reinforcement bars shall be brought by the contractor at terms & conditions specified. TMT bars manufactured in the brand name of Sardar, Kesar gold, Magnum, Goel, Moira shall be permitted subject to furnishing of Challans, valid test report issued by the manufacturer, pertaining to elongation, yield strength, Bend re-bend test etc

Note (2): Random testing of sample collected at site shall be arranged by the contractor at their own cost. One sample comprising of three specimam shall be collected for every 25 MT of bars brought at site.The representative of department shall associate with the engineer of contractor at each stage right from sampling to testing. All charges, transport, taxes etc shall be borne by the contractor.

Note (3): The contractor shall be solely responsible; all the time for watch & ward of bars/binding wires etc at their cost.

Note (4): 1.6 mm dia. soft drawn annealed BINDING WIRE required for the work will have to be procured by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment.

Note (5):Other conditions as stipulated in general conditions, special conditions, additional conditions and specification shall also be applicable and no claim whatsoever on account of enforcing these provisions shall be entertained.

Providing centering and shuttering at all heights using steel plates including strutting and propping etc. and removal of the same for in situ reinforced concrete and in plain mass concrete work as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Management of day to day carpantry/masonry/welding related complaint like repairing/servicing of doors, windows, ventilators, broken brick/stone masonary wall, repairing of floors, filling of joint etc. on all days of the week except Sunday and national holidays within RRCAT primises by deploying one ITI trained or higly experienced Carpentar/Mason/Welder and a helper in close consultation with the engineer of RRCAT or his authorised representative including arrangment of tools & plant, transport, giving daily feed back about the status of complains, maintaing labour laws, contract conditions specifications etc. complete as directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- 1)The payment shall be based on calendar month whether it is of 31 days or less than 31 days 2) Material required will be supplied by the deparment at departmental store. 3) Tools, Washers screws, nut bolts & Grease shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 4) One Carpentar/Mason/Welder and one helper shall be available for full working day to operate this items. 5) Supervisor shall plan his job in such a way that he shall personally be in touch with Carpentar/Mason/Welder for giving guidance. 6) In case non avialability of Carpentar/Mason/Welder or helper the recovery shall be made @ Rs. 1150.00 for Carpentar/Mason/Welder and Rs. 1000.00 for helper per day basis.

Rubble stone hard core of 150 mm th. using spot less stones below floor of consolidated thickness with stones vertically hand set, interstices packed with smaller stone chips, blinding with murrum, watering, consolidating and finishing to levels etc. complete as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing best quality 12mm thick ply wood of approved make fixing to the existing wooden frame work with nails/screws, fevicol, cutting in proper line and level including applying one coat of approved wood primer to the exposed surfaces etc.complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Sevicing & maintenance of M.S. windows/doors at any level of any size by oiling, greasing etc. and providing &fixing nuts, bolts, washers etc. if requried, removingdebries etc. to ensure smooth operation etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repair & welding of M.S. windows/doors of any size any-where in RRCAT premises at all heights including scraping of existing worn out joint welding of joints using approved electrodes to achieve 3mm weld thickness maximum weld length 3.5 cm. including removing flux, debris etc., painting one coat of steel primer touch up, grinding of joint before painting including safe removing & refixing of glass if necessary etc. complete as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repairing of Mild Steel flush doors including removing the shutters from frame,providing,positioning & welding of 4 nos M S plates of size 150 mm x 30 mm x 3mm in frame as well as in shutter to hold pivotal type hinges, grinding the surface for easy movement ,realigment providing,positioning & welding of additional M S insert plates if required including replacement of worn out S.S. pivotal pin &/or pin holding cylinderical capped sleeves/sockets etc as required complete including touching of paint etc.complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: Area of door out to out of frame shall be measured for payment.

Repairing of Wooden doors including removing the shutters from frame,removing worn out bottom rails,providing,positioning & fixing the bottom rail of size 150 mm x 30 mm with tenon joint with approved glue,fixing available ply/plank/4 mm Bajra glass with beading in shutter tightening the same using mechanical grippers (Shikanja) refixing the existing fixtures,realighning for easy movement,painting the complete door with two coats of flat oil paint over a coat of primer etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: Area of door out to out of frame shall be measured for payment.

Providing and fixing at all level and scattered location , Pin Cylinder interlock (Six action) ,ISO mark in existing wooden/metallic doors by making hole of desired size and shape including providing & fixing best quality screws carefully without damaging the frame of shutter, repair with putty and paint if required etc. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing post construction anti termite treatment in ground floor /basement ,guaranteed for five years from the date of completion of work ,comprising of treatment a,b,c as under using chemicals of specified grade & concentration , complete generally as per Indian standard specification IS 6313(Part 3):Rev 2:2001 and as directed by Engineer in charge .

(a) Soil poisoning below floor along all the internal walls at both the faces ,internal faces of external walls ,all visible cracks with any one of the specified brand of chemical "Chloropyriphos 20 EC or Lindane 20 EC"of specified concentration such that its consumption shall not be less than one liter with solvent per hole and until refusal including drilling 12mm diameter hole at spacing not exceeding 300 mm centre to centre , close to the columns & wall surface junctions ,spraying the chemical etc until refusal ,complete including repairing the surface in original condition .the consumption of "Chloropyriphos 20 EC or Lindan 20 EC" neat i.e. without solvent which must be liberally infused in all the holes, shall be around 0.066litre /sqm of plinth area .

(b) Soil poisoning along the exterior face of external wall on concrete or masonry apron or soil as the case may be using "Chloropyriphos 20 EC or Lindane 20 EC " emulsion of specified concentration such that its consumption shall not be less than 2.25 litre per RM with solvent and until refusal by drilling 12mm diameter holes at spacing not exceeding 150 mm centre to centre etc. complete including repairing the floor in original condition . the consumption of " Chlorophriphos 20 EC or Lindane 20 EC " neat i.e. without solvent which must be liberally infused in the holes, shall be around 0.18 litre / sqm of plinth area.

(c) treatment at junction of wood work and floor or wall on both sides of wood work and around wooden electrical board using " Chlorophyriphos 20 EC OR Lindane 20 EC" emulsion of specified brand such that its consumption shall not be less than 0.5 liter per hole with solvent and until refusal by drilling 6 mm diameter holes at spacing not exceeding 300 mm centre to centre all-round , at junction of wood work and floor or wall on both sides of wood work , spraying the chemical etc until refusal , complete including repairing the floor /wall in original condition . The consumption of "Chlorophriphos 20 EC or lindane 20 EC "neat i.e. without solvent which must be liberally infused in all the holes , shall be around 0.044litre /sqm of plinth area .

Note (1) the chemicals used for the treatment for all the operation shall have concentration of active ingredient as 1% by weight of 20 EC Chemical

(2) Chorophyriphos 20 EC confirming to IS 8944 or Lindane 20 EC Conforming to IS 632 shall be of M/s United Phosphorus or Tata Rallies India Ltd or Excell Industries or Nocil or approved equivalent make/manufacturer.

(3)Treatment at junction of wood work and floor or wall on both sides of wood work i.e. treatment around wood work is included in the item however wood borer treatment on wood work itself is not covered under the scope of this item .

(4) 65% payment will be released at respective running/final bill stages.25% payment will be released after 2 year from the date of issue of completion certificate subject to satisfactory performance of the treatment and remaining 10% payment will be released after lapse of 5 year i.e. on expiry of guarantee period subject to satisfactory performance of the treatment. The service guarantee bond shall be executed in prescribed from in non judicial stamp paper of Rs 100/-

(5)Wherever basement exists , the same shall be considered as ground floor and floor above it as first floor .

Providing post construction anti termite treatment guaranteed for five years at first floor/upper floors of building and wood work adjacent to the door and window frames ,electric boards battens etc by drilling and punching the hole at bottom & both the sides of door and window frames ( minimum six holes for each door window frame ) &

injecting specified brand of chloropyriphos 20 EC or Lindane 20 EC mixed with water in the volumetric ratio of 1:19, mixture liberally poured so as to consume minimum of 1 litre of solvent per hole. Oil base emulsion in the ration of 1:39 ( mixed with kerosene ) shall be sprayed liberally over frame and shutter including wooden fixtures if any ,spot treatment for extermination of termite on the areas wherever termite runways are seen /expected including repairing the same in original condition etc complete as per specifications, drawing and as directed by Engineer in charge . The consumption of Chloropyriphos 20 EC or Lindane 20EC neat shall be minimum of 0.0225 litre /sqm of floor area and that of kerosene oil minimum 0.5 litre /sqm.

Note (1) the chemicals used for the treatment for all the operation shall have concentration of active ingredient as 1% by weight of 20 EC Chemical

(2) Chorophyriphos 20 EC confirming to IS 8944 or Lindane 20 EC Conforming to IS 632 shall be of M/s United Phosphorus or Tata Rallies India Ltd or Excell Industries or Nocil or approved equivalent make/manufacturer.

(3)Treatment at junction of wood work and floor or wall on both sides of wood work i.e. treatment around wood work is included in the item however wood borer treatment on wood work itself is not covered under the scope of this item .

(4) 65% payment will be released at respective running/final bill stages.25% payment will be released after 2 year from the date of issue of completion certificate subject to satisfactory performance of the treatment and remaining 10% payment will be released after lapse of 5 year i.e. on expiry of guarantee period subject to satisfactory performance of the treatment. The service guarantee bond shall be executed in prescribed from in non judicial stamp paper of Rs 100/-

(5)Wherever basement exists , the same shall be considered as ground floor and floor above it as first floor .

(7) Floor area of corresponding floor level shall be measured for payment purposes.The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly.

Providing and laying approved fresh glass putty in doors/windows at all levels after removal of old putty,nails,damaged wooden fillet/beading,if any removing & refixing of existing glass panes with available rubber beading,fresh putty,new nails,new second class teak wood fillet/beading made out of 10 mm x 10 mm scantling size complete including the cost of all materials,spirit for altering consistancy ,labour,double scafolding,safety kit ,tools,all taxes & levies etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note:1) Above item does not include the cost of glass panes. 2) Area of exposed glass shall be measured for payment purposes.

Labour charges only for fixing of concrete interlocking paver blocks including filling of joints with sand,etc. including lead charges of paver blocks from any where in RRCAT premises to requiered place etc. complete.

Labour charges only for fabricating structural steel work including plates, Angles, Channels, Flates, Hollow sections, Welded wire mesh etc., at all levels including transporting to site of work from Deptt. Stores, cutting to required size, fabricating including welding as required, erecting in position cost of electrodes, gas, necessary scaffolding, painting with a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete.

Disposing debries, non value scrap, garbage, heaps of earth, rublles,rotton woodlogs and the like by deploying excavator with Operator and Khalasi including colecting the same in a tractor with driver and Khalasi for conveying the same to low lying areas including deploying labourers for unloading the material from tractor, levelling and dressing the ground at both the places i.e. at lifting point as well as at point of disposal so as to carry out the assigned work any where in RRCAT premises including the cost of all required tools & tackles,hire charges,fuel,necessary safety kit etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

(2) The cost incurred for deployment of labourers,excavator,tractor,ladders,safety kit etc,conveying arrangements,payment of all taxes,insurance etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(3) The contractor shall deploy as many number of labourers as required to ensure that work gets finished promptly.

(4) This item shall not be operated for items of dismentaling works,earth work,area dressing, routine garbage disposal etc as the same is covered under respective items.

Polishing Old terrazo tile Kota stone, insitu mosaic flooring / treads etc. using Carborundam stone of required coarseness fitted in the polishing machine including final polishing using Oxalic acid powder & disposal of waste etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge
