Opening of top and bottom cover of pressure feed type filteration plants 8000/10000 gallons capacity per hours, taking out old filter media including old strainer etc and removing and depositing to a distance not exc 50 mtr all as Specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Scraping and cleaning the surface bed, inner and outer surfaces of the shell for complete removal of rust, old paint etc and painting with two coats of anti corrosive bituminous lead free paint suitable for storage of potable water (for internal surfaces) and two coats of synthetic enamel paint for external surfaces of 8000/10,000 gallons capacity filtration plant and lettering / marking on the body complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-charge

S & F Mild steel frontal pipe 100 mm bore heavy duty with flange welded of any length including taking down existing pipe. (Make : JINDAL/NTL)

Supply and fixing of PVC push type/threaded type strainer suitable for filtration plant complete all as directed (Make : RMCO or equivalent )

Supplying and charging in layers special coarse sand suitable for use in filtration plant of following sizes:-

(a) 3.125 x 1.56 mm mesh

(b) 16 x 32 mm mesh

Supplying and charging in layers new washed, cleaned, dust free graded gravels filter media suitable for use in filtration plant of the following size :-

(a) Gravel of grading 12 mm to 20 mm

(b) Gravel of grading 6 mm to 12 mm

(b) Gravel of grading 3 mm to 6 mm

(c ) Gravel of grading 1.5 mm to 3 mm

Supply and charging in layers manganese Dioxide (MnO2) treated charcoal in lumps of sizes 20 to 15 mm containing at least 65% of manganese, suitable for use in filtration plant.

Supply and fixing 6 mm bore sampling cock made out of brass polished body complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and charging in layers carbofil in lumps suitable for use in filtration plant.

Supply and fixing diaphragm valve of 100 mm bore including taking down old diaphragm valve with complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing diaphragm valve of 80 mm bore including taking down old diaphragm valve complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing Buterfly Valve of 100 mm bore including taking down old valve complete all as specified and directed

Supply and install pressure gauge (as per sample) all as specified.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth and getting out in loose/soft soil for removing/laying of pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil/materials, not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up U/S GI water main (including all fittings) complete all as directed and specified for the following bore of pipes:-

Laying only for old GI pipe in trenches including cleaning and testing after laying complete all as specified and directed for the following:- (Note:- GI pipe retrieved from item No 4 shall be used)

Supply & Laying Galvanized iron tubing, medium grade with all fittings and laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:- (Make:NTL/JINDAL/TATA)

Supply and fixing Cast iron sluice valve of size 150 mm bore heavy duty (PN-1.6) with flanged ends, brass spindle any pattern with iron wheel head conforming to IS including jointing and jointing materials, nuts, bolts,rubber gasket and washers and taking down old sluice valve etc complete all as specified

All as per item No 20 above but of size 100 mm bore.

Run lead joint complete with all jointing materials for the following sizes:-

(a) 150 mm bore

Construction of brick masonry valve pit of internal dimension 100 x 100 x 100 cm depth with sub class 'B' bricks in CM (1:4) and 10 mm thick plastering in CM (1:4), PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (Using 40 mm graded broken stone aggregate) as in foundation lean concrete, PCC (1:3:6) type CI (using 20 mm graded broken stone aggregate) as in bedding and copping MS frame with 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle iron and 3 mm thick MS sheet cover plate with locking arrangements, hinges and two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surface, two coats of white wash on plastered surface (exposed to view) including necessary excavation in soft loose, soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 3 mm thick MS sheet cover plate with locking arrangements in existing valve pit and removing of old / rusted MS cover all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concret in ground floor nexc 15 cm thickness complete all as directed by EIC.

S & F Replacement of chlorine dosing pump motor suitable for ALT GP Gralular chemical complete all water and electric connection all as directed by EIC

Dismantling Altec dosing motor, 0.5 HP and taking out complete burnt winding from the slots, cleaning the slots and Re-winding electric motor with PVC insulated super enamel copper wire of suitable gauge and size and quantity ancluding applying insulating varnish, drying and two coat synthetic enamel paint (1st quality) etc including replacement of unserviceable spares like bearing etc and testing insulating strength complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer –in- charge. Note :- Contractor will be responsible for free of cost repairing if burnt under 6 (Six) month warrenty period.

S&F replacement to unserviceable 3/8 inches white suction/discharge stainless steel tubing in lieu of provided with new 3/8 inches white suction/discharge stainless steel tubing suitable for Altoc dozing pump complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Compressor with connected accessores and fuel shall be arranged by the contractor and at last 05 kg raw caustic will be added in to each bore well before 24 hours for 1st & 2nd day only.
