| 1.01 | Polyhouse –Technical Specifications
1. Size & Shape
• Size: 40 feet × 60 feet
• Type: Arch-shaped polyhouse
• Center Height: 15 feet
• Side Height: 11 feet
2. Base / Foundation (Description)
1. Ground Preparation
• The land must be excavated, filled with at least 45 cm murrum, and leveled properly.
2. Pole Foundation
• Galvanized Iron (GI) pipes must be fixed in the ground using cement concrete.
• Hole size for each pole: 0.45 m × 0.45 m × 0.50 m deep.
• Distance between two poles should not be more than 3 meters.
3. Side Brick Wall
• A small brick wall of 20 cm height and 20 cm width should be built around the entire structure.
4. Center Path
• In the middle of the polyhouse, a path of interlocking pavement blocks should be made.
• Path size: 17.88 m × 1.50 m.
5. Plant Beds
• Beds should be built on both sides of the path.
• Beds should be made using brickwork and plastered.
• Beds should be placed at 90° (right angle) to the path.
• Each bed:
• Inner width: 1 meter
• Side wall height: 20 cm
• Distance between two beds: 35 cm (including sidewalls).
• The gap between two bed walls should be filled with M-20 cement concrete, and plaster should be done on all brickwork.
3. Structure (Simple Description)
1. Material
• Entire structure should be made from Galvanized Iron (GI) steel, hot-dip galvanized.
• Structure must follow IS 875 standard and withstand 120 km/h wind speed.
2. Poles and Pipes
• Main column GI pipes: 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch square pipes
• Arch base GI pipes: 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch square pipes
• Purlins: 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch square pipes
• Remaining structure pipes: 2 inch x 2 inch square pipes
• All GI pipes should be fixed into cement concrete in the ground.
3. Door
• 2 Aluminium frame doors with 6mm polycarbonate sheet. One door should be at front and the other at the back
4. Distance Between Columns
• Maximum 3 meters.
4. Cladding (Covering Materials)
1. Poly Film
• 200-micron UV-stabilized film
• More than 80% light transmission
• From a major/reputed brand
2. Insect Net
• 40-mesh insect net on both long sides
• Net height: from 1 meter above ground up to 2.5 meters
• Poly film in net area should be foldable to allow airflow.
3. Shade Net
• Shade-net curtains should be fixed inside the polyhouse to cover plant beds when needed.
5. Overhead Irrigation / Fogger System
• Hanging foggers with lateral pipes, supporting wire, and MS support frame.
• Fogger parts must be from a major/reputed brand.
• 1 HP pump should be provided.

The project requires the setup of two independent systems:
• Site 1: Installation for 500 beds.
• Site 2: Installation for 100 beds.
• Scope of Work and Materials Required
Your quote must cover all labor, materials, and installation for the following requirements:
1. Bed Irrigation Setup (for all 600 beds):
• Bed Dimensions: 10 meters (length) x 0.15 meters (width) x 1.20 meters (height).
• Drip Lines: Four parallel drip line per bed, which may extend in length to consecutive beds. Emitter (dripper) spacing of drip lines should be 6 inch
• Fittings: All necessary 16mm pipes, O-rings, take-ups, and 16mm valves connecting to the main line.
2. Underground Main Supply Line:
• Pipe: 75mm diameter, 4-gauge PVC pipe.
• Installation: Pipe must be installed 1 meter below ground level.
• Total Length: Approximately 550 meters of underground piping across both sites
• Water Source Setup: Supply and installation of a 5000-liter water tank.
• Pumping: Supply and installation of a 5 HP motor.
• Filtration & Fertigation: Installation of a Screen Filter, a Sand Filter, and a Venturi injector system for fertilizer application.
4. Site 2 Specific Equipment (for 100 beds location):
• Water Source Setup: Supply and installation of a 1000-liter water tank.
• Pumping: Supply and installation of a 3 HP motor.
• Filtration & Fertigation: Installation of a Screen Filter, a Sand Filter, and a Venturi injector system for fertilizer application.
