Cleaning the existing W.B.M. road surface including removing of binding material and other foreign matter with wire brushes and small picks, sweeping with brooms or soft brushes and finally dusting with old gunny bags and/or compressed air to receive bituminous treatment. As per clause no 502.4.2 and 503.3.1 of MOST specification.
Providing and applying tack coat on the prepared surface, heating bitumen in boiler and spraying the bitumen with sprayset fitted on bitumen boiler - on granular base such as WBM and WMM surfaces not bitumen primed. Rate of application 10kg/10sqm.
Providing, laying and rolling of built-up spray grout layer over prepared base consisting of a two layer composite construction of compacted crushed coarse aggregates using motor grader for aggregates. Key stone chips spreader may be used with application of bituminous binder after each layer and with key aggregates placed on top of the second layer to serve as a base conforming to the line, grades and cross-section specified ,the compacted layer thickness being 75mm. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)
Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)
Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant of capacity not less than 40 -60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 507.7 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, to achieve the desired compaction. - using grade II metal and bitumen 60/70 grade.
Providing and laying bituminous concrete with HMP of capacity not less than 40 to 60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause 509 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, complete in all respects - Using grade-II material.-Bitumen 60/70
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision - by plant mix method - for grading III material.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density - Using vibratory roller. (As per MoRTH specification, 4th Revision)
Supplying and filling with gravel (excluding rock) in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with 1/2 tonne roller,or wooden or steel rammers,and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes capacity including all leads and lift (payment will be made based on level measurement)
Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.
Providing and fixing of retro - reflectorised cautionary, mandatory & informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of aluminium sheet encapsulated lens with high intensity grade sheeting vide Clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm X 75 mm X 6 mm ( 3.6 mtrs height - 6.8kg/mtr = 24.48 kg with board support angle 35x35x6mm - 2.49 mtrs - 3kg/mtr = 7.47kg and anchor flat -0.50kg )firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 Grade cement concrete 45 cm X 45 cm X 60 cm , 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing. - 60cm Circular .(including cost of angle iron towards cost of drilling holes, nuts, bolts etc.,)

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of aluminium sheet encapsulated lens reflective ( diamond grade sheet) with high intensity grade sheeting vide Clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 X 75 X 6mm (3.9mtrs height - 6.8kg/mtr = 26.52kg ,with board support angle 35x35x6mm - 3.8mtrs - 3kg/mtr = 11.40kg and anchor flat 0.50kg )firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 X 45 X 60 cm, 60cm below ground level.
Supplying and installation of delineators (road way indicators, hazard markers,object markers),80-100cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15cm wide strips, fitted with 80X100 mm rectangular or 75mm dia circular reflectorised panels at the top, buried or pressed into the ground and conforming to IRC:79
