M&L for repair to pot holes any depth area n. exc. 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surface of roads, paths, etc, cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in and including screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 10Kg/10 Sqm for laying semidense asphaltic concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep in soft/ loose soil and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50mtr depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Rolling and consolidating formation surface in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including filling in depressions which occurs during the process of rolling, rolling to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 150mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed & rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layers (each layer 75mm thick) with broken or crushed granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), blended with stone screening material type ‘A’, spread, watered and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power roller hollows made up to form true surface and consolidated to required gradient and camber etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :-(i) Each layer shall be rolled and compacted separately. (ii) 150mm thick consolidated thickness shall be considered for measurement and payment purpose.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for providing 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.50% binder content (bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix, laid with self propelled mechanical paver finisher, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and material & labour for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) (VG-10) @ 3Kg/10 Sqm on bituminous surface and M&L for providing 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete with 5.50% binder content (Paving Bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix, laid with self propelled mechanical paver finisher, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The work shall be executed in different locations in small stretches wherever directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for demolition of cement concrete of any discription and in any position of existing kerb stone and including removal of copncrete block a distance n. exc 50m and depositing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for (machine made) pre-cast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in kerb stone of size 300mmx300x100mm with plain fair faces, smooth finish, including chamfering, weathering, throating etc set in cement mortar 1:4, including necessary form work and excavation & earth work for embedding kerb stone at a depth as directed & temping around kerb stone and removal of surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 metre & depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M & L for complete removal of existing treatment on wall like distemper, plastic paint, apex, etc and washing of old surface shall include brooming down or steel wire brushing, or grinding machine, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salt, trading oil and gresy spouts complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparation of new plastered or unplastered concrete surface and applying two coat of plastic emulsion paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on road pavement and the like using thermoplastic road marking (white/yellow) paint with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement up to 160ºC complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. S&F rectangular dual directional reflective cat eye of size 100mm x100mm of impact resistance ABS plastic stud having ultra violet resistance colour with plastic strip containing 31 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour white/red/yellow to each side and fixed with 12mm dia 120mm long zinc plated steel nails at the centre of cats eye by hammering complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-ch.
