Supply and Application of Protective Painting on Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Structures at Elevated 7 Stations of Phase 1 of Mumbai Monorail.

Surface Preparation: - Removal of existing paint, rust from steel structures using power tool cleaning, solvent cleaning, suitable technique (STD St2/St3) as approved by Engineer-in-charge to achieve Surface cleanliness to assure good bonding of new paint, including all safety measures, debris collection & disposal outside the Monorail premises A. Supply & application of paint on steel members of Monorail structure • 1st Under-Coat: Surface tolerant epoxy mastic primer with 80% Volume Solid – DFT: 125 μm • 2nd Under-Coat: Epoxy Mastic/MIO barrier coating with 80% Volume Solid – DFT: 125 μm • 3rd Finish Coat: Acrylic polyurethane finish (aliphatic isocyanate cured), DFT: 60μm – Applied via spray or brush in approved color. • Total System DFT: 310 μm Performance warranty: Minimum 5 Years Note:- 1. Rates are inclusive of all manpower, machinery, scaffolding, shuttering, safety equipment, painting tools, power supply, fabrication and erection equipment, handling, loading/unloading, transport, and other T&P (Tools & Plants) required for execution. 2. One qualified engineer must be deploy full-time at site during the entire duration of the work for coordination, safety supervision, and quality assurance. 3. All work is to be carried out strictly during Power Block hours from 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM (Night Shift). No additional payment shall be made for night shift operations. 4. In case of any planned work disruption or emergency power block cancellations, work may be halted without any financial implications to the client. No compensation or additional claims for idling, remobilization, or standby resources shall be entertained. 5. The entire surface treatment process must be sequentially followed. 6. All waste, old paint chips, and debris generated from blasting or cleaning shall be collected and disposed of outside the Monorail premises.
