COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF FIRE ALARM PANEL SYSTEM AND FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM AND ALLIED WORKS AT AF STN KALAIKUNDA UNDER GE (P) (AF) KALAIKUNDA

Comprenesive maintenance and repair including renewal/replacement and installation of defective parts of all existing fire detection system complete consisting of addressable fire control panel , Conventional Fire Alarm Panel , Remote Terminal Unit panels , smoke/heat detector, response indicator, sounder, Manual call Point, Amplifier/Loud speaker, Loop isolator, Zone monitor module, Modem etc. located in technical and domestic area , to make them 100 % serviceable incl checking of fire detector, checking the batteries and its connections, alarm system and its functions, functionallity of fire control panel and indicating eqpt all to be checked by the operation of trigger device in each zone as described. The system installed in Fire station and at other locations to be inspected and checked for its functionality and to make functional in all respect and if any defect observed to rectify it by visiting every month all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) Cost of new components shall be paid separately under relevant item of this schedule ,i.e item srl no 3 to 6 , 8 to 17 and items which are not in Sch that will be measured under prime cost sum . (ii) Contractor's rep shall visit every month to check all fire panel and system to check its functionility and to make them functional. if any defect observed. (iii) He shall take the serviceability certificate duly signed by the user and submit to the department. After obtaining / producing seviceability certificate of system payment will be made to contractor. (iv) The Contractor shall provide the following comprehensive services arising out of wear and tear of the normal running includes maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and electronic parts /sub-assemblies. The preventive maintenance report will be as per the Original Equipment anufacturer's instructions and Specification. The Contractor may claim payment on monthly basis. (v) Breakdown Maintenance : The Authorised Service Engineer of OEM or OEM Certified Agencies will carry out all breakdown maintenance after receiving information (written or oral) from GE (AF kalaikunda) officials or their representatives, The OEM's authorised service representative or OEM certified agencies will carry out the required repairs of the units and appraise dept the status of the break down repair at site. No payment shall be made on account of any breakdown service during maintenence period.
