8158/2022-23/E8 REPAIR/MAINT TO STREET LIGHTS/SECURITY LIGHTS, JUNCTION BOX, GARDEN LIGHT, LT UG CABLE AND CONNECTED WORKS AT KARU UNDER GE 860 EWS

Excavation in trenches in hard / dense soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and getting out including trimming of sides, for laying of cables & foundation of poles, stay assembly, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking out old unserviceable/serviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable covers from excavated trench all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Serviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable cover kept in safe custody for reuse at site and unserviceable un-reinforced concrete PCC cable cover through in low lying area.

Laying only old reinforced PCC cable cover of any size as retrieved from serial item No- 04 above, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for factory made un-reinforced pre cast concrete cable protection cover LV class type - I with size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm laid across the cable (i.e. width of cover along the length of cable) for UG cable protection on the top of the sand cushioning, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for sand cushioning with layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 10cm after laying of cable in trenches complete all as directed and sand cover to UG cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Punned depth shall be considered for measurment purpose.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of LT UG cable XLPE insulated PVC sheathed galvanized steel strip armoured electric power cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade 10 sq mm 2 core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-I), suitable for earthed system, laid in duct/trench/along pole/wall etc including nuts, bolts, washers, saddles & screws etc and making connection, complete all as directed. Note : 1. The cost of Al thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is included in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it. 2. Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

S&F of galvanized iron pipe of 50 mm nominal dia light grade fixed to poles with clamps nuts, bolts and washers or laid under road crossing or fixed to wall including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint, complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of MS clamp, nut, bolt, washer and GI fittings etc shall be inclusive in the item rate.

Dismantling and taking down unserviceable / defective street light fitting / Flood light fitting of any wattage alongwith mounting bracket, flat iron clamp, nuts bolts etc from overhead LT poles complete all as directed.

S&F of LED street light luminaire of 40 Watt capacity, made of single piece pressure die-cast aluminium housing with high power LED with lens for proper light distribution luminiaries, IP 66, with toughned glass cover and incl control gear etc, with and incl making all electric connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F of LED street light luminaire of 60 Watt capacity, made of single piece pressure die-cast aluminium housing with high power LED with lens for proper light distribution luminiaries, IP 66, with toughned glass cover and incl control gear etc, with and incl making all electric connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F of LED street light luminaire of 90 Watt capacity, made of single piece pressure die-cast aluminium housing with high power LED with lens for proper light distribution luminiaries, IP 66, with toughned glass cover and incl control gear etc, with and incl making all electric connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F of LED flood light luminaire of 100 Watt capacity, made of single piece pressure die-cast aluminium housing with high power LED with lens for proper light distribution luminiaries, IP 66, with toughned glass cover and incl control gear etc, with and incl making all electric connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F of LED flood light luminaire of 200 Watt capacity, made of single piece pressure die-cast aluminium housing with high power LED with lens for proper light distribution luminiaries, IP 66, with toughned glass cover and incl control gear etc, with and incl making all electric connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F LED step light 9 W with die cast aluminium housing with warm white COB LED reflector and IP65 protection and incl making all electric connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F LED post tops 45 W with die cast aluminium housing and polycarbonate opal diffuser and IP protection and incl making all electric connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

S&F in replacement of street light fitting bracket, 1.5 metre long made out of galvanized iron pipe of 40 mm dia size light grade complete with and incl 02 nos MS clamp made of MS flate iron of 50 x 6 mm size with nut, bolts, washer etc with and incl two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as directed.

Supply, fixing and testing of Automatic Street Light Control Switch with panel complete with :- (a) Infrared senser based 01 nature switch for automatic switching of street lights. Nature switch operation should based on natural light lux level required illuminance level for switching "ON" is less or equal to 30 lux and for switching "OFF" is 10 lux. The sensor should also have part night operation facility of minimum 04 hrs to maximum 12 hrs - 01 Nos. Make of Sensor - Kakatiya Energy System/Bajaj/Healer. (b) Power Contactor single phase, 230 Volts, 40 Amps capacity cnforming to IEC-60947-4-1 03 Nos. (c) The sensor along with suitable Power Contactor and Incoming/outgoing MCBs shuold be enclosed in a pole/ wall mounted rust proof, electric shock proof, termite proof and FR grade thermoplastic polycorbonate enclosure ( with hinged lid) conforming to IP-66 production class-II of suitable size to accommodate all panels accessories- 01 Job. Make - Hensel/syntex.

(d) MCB TPN 40 Amps, B- curve, conforming to IEC-60898/IS-8828-02 Nos. (e) All Control cables wirring inside the panel should be of copper conductor, multistranded, PCV insulated, FRLS, 1100 Volts grade of size 10 sqmm, single core followed by colour coding and lugs/thimbles. (f) All equipments should be mounted on suitable size insulator. Make of complete Panel : Healer Enterprises, Model No Swadeep-66-5KW1P or equivalent approved by CENC Note : Rate should be incl taking down Existting street Control switch.

M&L for preparation old (exposed) painted surfaces of existing LT steel tubular street Light pole, struts including cross arms, clamps etc complete and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer over the ground and making 30cm wide strip with black and yellow paint including numbering of HT/LT poles at a height of 1.5 metre above ground level as per existing having 15mm width and 50mm bold letter complete all as specified and directed including Marking Red Strip painting on HT Poles etc.

M&L for two run of 2.5 sqmm Aliminium conductor twin core cable for connection of the street light with junction box / Over head LT line complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L, in replacement, junction box outdoor type of size 14cmX19cm made out of MS sheet of thickness not less than 1.6 mm having hinged front opening door with two nos aluminium strip bus bar of capacity 63 amps fitted on resin based insulator and one no. MCB SPN 32 Amps rating and suitable size of clamps for mounting the junction box on Garden light post and painted with two coats of synthetic enamel aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.
