Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lift & lead, transporting to site, sprading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet the requirements of MoRTH specification, table 300-1 and 300-1 with lead upto 1000m as per tech. specification 300-5

Supply of Geo-textile bags of type-A (1.03X0.70M) made of Geotextile non-woven fabric sheets of 300 GSM manufactured from 100% virgin Polypropylene (PP) fibre with minimum properties as (i) Tensile strength ≥ 12.0 KN/m (ii) Mass ≥ 300.00 Gm/m ² (iii) CBR Puncture strength ≥ 3.5 KN (iv) Elongation @ break (Warp) ≥ 60% (v)Abrasion≥ 70% (vi) UV Resistance @ 500 hours ≥ 70% (vii) AOS ≤ 75 micron (viii) Permittivity ≥ 1.25, (x) Trapezoidal Tear Strength ≤ 340 N (xi) Permeability = 2.00 x 10 ̄ ³ m/sec (xii) Seam strength = 80 % of geo textiles strength . Stitching of Bags should be Ring Spun Yarn stitches with 2500-3000 denier double line chain stitch with overlap with stitches along the edge @ minimum 15 stitches per 100 mm.(Bags are to be supplied of 100 numbers in a bundle, properly packed with the name of Manufacture & batch number is to be marked on each bag with WRD Govt. of Assam to be painted on each bag and mentioning the property of GSM and type of Geo bag polymer. Test certificate from appvd. NABL accorded and ISO certified laboratory should invaiby supplied against each batch of Geo bag. (Including transportation of Geo bags from Guwahati to work site)

Carriage of geo-bag type -A i/c loading & unloading, stacking, cost of POL etc. complete and i/c hire charge of driver & handyman complete as directed. Rate as per S/R of WRD for 2018-19=Rs. 3.25=(250km x 0.013/each/km)

Labour charge for laying Geo fabric sheet as filter bellow pitching.

Carriage of 300 gsm Geo Sheet including loading & unloading, stacking cost of P.O.L. etc. Complete and including hire charge of truck with driver and handyman complete as directed. Distance to be calculated with respect to FOR Guwahati.

Earthwork in excavation of Drainage Channel to the proper grade and slopes as required including deposing the excavated debries/soil to a safe distance of min 50m distance as directed. Normal Soil

Supply of sewing thread/yarn PPMF stitching thread (2000 Den Kaplon) including payment of taxes, etc.

Embankment Protection Work:

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pagging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts

Filling and laying of Geo bags of size 1.03m X 0.70m excluding excavation of specified silt from flood plain or adjacent chars within a distance of 90m of the work site, filling geo bags with sand weighing 126.00 Kg after filling ,stitching the mouth of the filled bags with polypropylene thread by power driven double needle machine, stacking the same in batches of 100, carrying the same to the dumping site including all handling charges and local carriage within a distance of 150m and laying properly as directed.

Environment Management Plan :

Implementation of Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and provide necessary safety measures at the sub-project site in adherence and compliance to Clause -2 of Section-6 of contract by submitting and EMP and monthly environmental report incorporating , monitoring, evaluation and intuitional measures to be taken during implementation in the project site and immediate vicinities to reduce the pollution to acceptable levels as per current standards and regulations of State / Central Government as applicable including take appropriate precautions for safety in respects to safety measure health, welfare , sanitation and working conditions of all workers and officials related to the project work etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Fund Distribution as below: Air, water, Noise monitoring and Pollution Control- 40% Labour Welfare, Medicine, Health Checkup, Sanitation etc.-20% Precautionary Safety Measure-20% Access routes, Road maintenance, avoid/minimize Disruption to agricultural activities etc-20%
