| 3 | M&L for water proofing treatment to sunken floors of toilets, laboratories, bath, WCs, kitchen etc as under:- (i) Application of two component acrylic modified cementitious coating :- (a) The surfaces to be applied shall be completely dry and free from containments such as dirt, dust, oil, surface treatments and old coatings. Concrete substrates must be mechanically prepared using abrasive blast cleaning or milling to remove cement laitance existing coating and achieve a gripping profile that is clean, dry and free from laitance and any other from of surface containmation. The installation instruction in manufacturer's published literature shall be strictly complied with, including but not limited to the following:- (b) Chipping out any visible cracks in "V-Groove" pattern as applicable. Cleaning of cracks & filling with SIKA latex SBR 100 putty/Dr. Fixit 302 SBR latex/ perma latex SBR/FOSROC Nitbond SBR latex/Asian paint latex as required. Final cleaning of surface with powder grinder, wire brush, hair brush & vacum pressure. (c) Providing and applying a protection concrete 1:2:4, 50mm thick admixed with plastocrete over the applied water proofing coating on horizontal surfaces.(Admixture: Sikaplastocrete plus/FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO confirming to IS 2645.) (d) Dampen all surface immediately ahead of apllication of acrylic modified cementitious coating of SIKA top seal-107/Brush bomd FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP/CICO. (e) Whilst the surface is still damp from saturation (SSD) apply one coat of acrylic modified cementitious coating of SIKA top seal-107/ Brush bond FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP/ white first coat is wet. | 90 | Sqm | - | - |
| 3.01 | (f) Apply glass fabric sheet of approved by applicator while the first coat is wet. (g) Once touch dry, apply second coat of acrylic modified cementitious coating of viscosity as per manufacturer ins on the entire area. Second coat shall be applied after 6-8 Hrs of application of previous coat and in the direction right angle to the previous coat. (h) The waterproofing coating shall be taken to a height minimum 300mm above the finished floor level on the vertical surface. (j) It is essential to cure acrylic moified cementitious coating immediately after application (min 6-8 hrs drying) for a min of 3 to 5 days to ensure full cement hydration and to minimize cracking. (k) A protection plaster (15mm thick) in ready mix mortar to be a apllied on the walls. (l) All the corners and joints shall be pretreated with an elastic waterproofing sealing tape with a woven bonding mesh on each surface and an elastic expansion zone in the centre of make seal tape SIKA/FOSROC/Dr. Fixit/STP. (m) The membrane has to be protected in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendation until placement of concrete. The membrane to be inspected for damage just prior to concrete placement and carryout repairs in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. (n) Waterproofing treatment shall be carried out through authorised applicators authorised. | - | - | - | - |
| 3.02 | (ii) All the joints of pipes and traps within the sunken portion shall be sealed properly by epoxy sealant. (iii) All CI/PVC Traps in sunken slabs to be enclosed with PCC 1:1.5:3 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) (min 15cm) all round. (iv) The sunken portion shall be filled with PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) complete all as specified. (v) Providing drainage spout pipe GI 40mm dia bore light grade upto outside of outer wall (Approx 300 mm to 450 mmlong) incl cutting to existing wall and making good the distrubed surface complete all as specified and directed. (vi) Providing 25mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in flooring for laying floor finishes all as specified. Note:- Items no. | 7 | M&L for removel of existing treatment (incl demolition of existing mud phuska/existing padding/ APP/ tarfelt ), all loose gravel cement mortar , dirt, oil, grease and foreign material by jet of dry air, roughening and clean the surface mechanically or by grinding to make it smooth before application loose existing bituminious material manually and with heat torch gun to get smooth plain finished surface with no loose material on surface. Repair all joints & cracks and apply primer with smart care epoxy primer to seal the pores/cracksand enhance the adhesion of the coating.
• Apply first coat of fibres reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with PU hybrid poymers and reinforcing acrylic fibres with sun reflective index (SRI) of 100-110, having minimum elongation of 300% to 350%, tensile strength of 1.8 Mpa to 2.9 Mpa and shall have cracks bridging ability upto 10-12 degree celcius with 33% dilutioon of priming coat. Laying of fiber mesh of 0.3mm thickkness weave in leno pattern having 45 gsm/ sqm and pasting it properly with overlap of 50 mm and allow it to dry for 10 to 12hrs. Apply second of undiluted coat @0.45ltr/sqm and allow it to dry for 4 to 5 Hrs. Apply third and final coat undiluted @0.45 ltr/sqm all as specified and as per manufacturers specification having warranty for 10 years . (Note : Application of water proofing treatment will be done by Authorised Applicator only). | 450 | Sqm | - | - |
