Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced ) of any desciption and any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified.
Material and labour for hardcore of gauge n exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface
Material and labour for providing cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in bed concrete for drains,surface channels etc and finishing cement concrete surfaces even and smooth using extra cement all as specified.
Material and labour for cement concrete type B-0, 1:2:4 (Using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregates) for edging/coping, including necessary form work weathering /slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed.
Demolition of bricks laid flat in drains, channels, aprons, etc. (each layer) in laid dry or laid dry and pointed as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .
Material and labour for bricks, sub class 'B' laid flat,in floors, old size bricks laid dry and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.
Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles.
M&L Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in with CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
Raking out joints/pointing to cement lime mortar to brick work in walls or to bricks on edge in floors,surface channels,roofs ,etc complete all as specified.
Material and labour for flush pointing to brick wall masonry in laid flat of drains in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.
Demolition of Stone paving laid dry and pointed of any description or thicknesscomplete all as specified.
Material and labour for 150 mm thick approved quarried stone laid dry in pavings, or any slant hight position face hammer dressed,sides fitted fairly,hollows wedged in with stone chips and interstices filled with approved earth and joints are grouted flush with cement mortar 1:6 all as specified and directed.
All as per item No 12 above but except stone.
M & L Racking out of old existing sealant compound and back up rod of the existing Dummy joints by special tools like cutting blades/machines, widening of joints by 2 mm by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before pacing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Thereafte filled with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia fo complete length of the joint, over it to be filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875- 2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of+/- 30% complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L Racking out of old existing sealant compound, back up rod and filler board of the existing expansion joints by specia tools like racker/cutting blades/machines , widening of joints by 2 mm by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant Thereafter filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified , over it filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia for complete length of the joint. Finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of+/- 30% complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Preparing and cleaning of broken edges of concrete pavement joints of any type and shape free from loose particles, grease, oil, demolding agents etc., cutting and chiseling the existing damaged portion of edges of joints to provide a regular prismatic cavity as directed and cleaning by using blower etc and washed with acid solutions if required and applying primer coat of epoxy ( 100 parts of epoxy resin with 50 parts of epoxy hardner by weight proportion) and filling the cut portion with epoxy mortar of Make: Huntsman (with 100 parts of epoxy resin, araldite with 50 parts of epoxy hardner, Aradur mixed with 800 parts of quartz sand by weight) including provision of temporary wooden strips or metal strips as formwork to edges of expansion/contraction/dummy joints and trowelling the mixture to level with the adjoining surface all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified. .
Site clearance of the ground along fencing around the runway and removal of the spoil to a distance exceeding 50 meter but not exceeding 250 meter complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cleaning of chain link fencing/ concertina coil/ Electric fencing around the runway, by removing of all vegetation, roots, grass etc and removal the spoil to a distance exceeding 50 meter but not exceeding 250 meter complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Unskilled labour for daily basis clearence of vegetation in between fencings along runway including removal the spoil to a distance exc 50m but not exc 250m complete all as specified and directed.
Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Note for Serial item No. 1 to 21: Kind attention of tenders is invited to that runway will be available to execute the work on Saturday and Sunday or on holiday or as required by the user. The tenderer has to work as per user's requirement and unit rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to include for this provision/condition.
