Part-I Routine Maintenance work: Road maintenance work by carrying out routine maintenance operations(Refer IRC SP: 2002 Rural road manual Chapter 11 - Maintenance) ) i.e. initial rectification work during period 1 (as per clause 3.1 of section5 of SBD)to bring the road to the desired service level & routine maintenance work during period 2 (as per clause 4.1 of section 5) to maintain the road nearly to the level attained during period 1 including Videography of the various roads under the Package before start and after completion of the maintenance work duly covering all aspects of maintenance work to the entire satisfaction of Engineer –in –Charge. The rate is inclusive of octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Part-II For additional works of Period-I, Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 and 400.12 and M.O.R.D.Technical Specification Clause 406 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on the prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg to 1.00 kg (zero point seventy kilogram to one kilogram) per square metre ( per one square meter ) using mechanical means as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause 502 and as per the entire satisfication and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and applying tack coat with BITUMEN EMULSION (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg (zero point twenty five kilogram) to 0.30 kg ( zero point thirty kilogram) per square metre on the prepared granular surface treated with primer coat cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause 503 and as per the entire satisfaction and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm ( twenty millimeter) compacted thickness composed of 13.2mm ( thirteen point two millimeter) to 5.6mm ( five decimal six millimetre) aggregate at the rate of 0.27 cum (zero point two seven cubic metre)mixed with penetration VISCOSITY GRADE-30 (THIRTY) PAVING BITUMEN at the rate of 14.6 kg.(fourteen point six kilogramme) per 10 sqm.(ten square metre) of road surface to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in suitable plant, laying with paver finisher and rolling with a three Wheel 80-100 KN static road roller capacity finished to required level and grade to be followed by seal coat of type-B as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause No. 508 by mechanical means including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying seal coat for sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to specified level grade and cross fall using type-B as per technical specification clause 510 using VISCOSITY GRADE-30 (THIRTY) PAVING BITUMEN at the rate of 6.8 kg ( six point eight kilogram) premixed with 0.06 ( zero point zero six) cubic metre of fine aggregate per 10 Sqm. ( Ten square metre) mixing and heating in mini hot mix plant and laying by mechanical means of mixed material and rolling with power road roller 80-100 KN ( eighty to one hundred KN) as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Repair to pot holes and removal of loose mateial, trimming of sides, cleaning of surface by providing tack coat with bitumen VG-10 @ 3 kg (three kilograme) per ten square metre , 20mm (twenty millimeter) thick premix carpet with 0.27 (zero point two seven) cubic metre of stone aggregate mixed with bitumen VG-10 @ 14.6 kg (fourteen point six kilogram) per ten square metre and seal coat type B with 0.06 (zero point zero six ) cubic metre fine aggregate mixed with bitumen VG-10 @ 6.8 kg (six point eight kilogram) per ten square metre of road surface as per specification Clause 1904.2 including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rate includes octroi, royalty, Malkana, toll tax, goods service tax, labour cess or other taxes imposed by the Government.
