Note: Work shall commence after fixing of initial level through a BOO conveyed by the accepting officer. The BOO will fix the final level as per site requirement.

ROAD WORK

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting all as specified and as directed with power roller exc. 8 tonne and n.exc 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Moorum / red bajari in paving & forming embankment including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc. not exceeding 1.5 m high from base complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Moorum / red bajari in paving & forming enbankment including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc. exceeding 1.5 m and n.exc 3.0 m high from base complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Soling (or sub base) of spread thickness 200mm, with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 150mm thick (compacted thickness water bound mcadam in two layers consisting of 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) each layer with coarse aggregate of stone (granite/black trap/basalt), grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) each layer spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note: The unit rate inserted under column No. 5 shall be deemed to include for total compacted thickness of 150mm consisting of two layers each of 75 mm thick executed independently.

Material and labour for Preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. Sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg/10 Sqm using paving bitumen grade of VG-10 complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 50 mm thick premix bituminous macadam over rolled and compacted WBM surfaces/ old bitumen surfaces binder content (paving bitumen grade of VG-30) of 4% by weight of total mix and 1.5% cement filler complete all as specified and directed. Note:The rate quoted shall be deemed included for cement filler.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer over black top surface at 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen of VG-10 grade complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (minimum) by weight of total mix (bitumen VG-30) and 2% cement filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Note: The work shall be executed by using hot mix plant & mechanical paver. The rate quoted shall be deemed included for cement filler.

Material and labour for providing pre cast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 as in kerbs (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) set and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

RETAINING WALL :- Note: Items not covered below will be measured and paid under relevant items hereinafter.

Excavation over areas, not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cement concrete Plain Cement Concrete type C2 (1:3:6) using 40mm graded stone aggregates in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for form work to side of concrete foundation, plinth beams, base of column, side of column and similar vertical work for rough finishes surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work at any height including attached pillasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical any height or to batter complete for a rough finished surfaces all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape required, including cranking, bending sprirally for hooping for columns hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Reinforced Cement Concrete M-25 (Design Mix) (by using 20mm graded stone aggregates) as in Foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams, bases for columns, etc basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Reinforced Cement Concrete M-25 (Design Mix) Walls, retaining walls,basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness;any height; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 75 mm bore UPVC Pipes (SCH-40) as in weep holes of retaining wall complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Weephole shall be provided at an approved slope downwards side. (ii) Irrespective of the length of weep hole shall be provided with GI wire mesh duly tied on internal wall and rate quoted shall be deemed included for this aspects. (iii) However, the unit for this item shall be Running Meter.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm by using excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated earth /material to a distance exceeding 250 Mtr and not exceeding 500 Mtr depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

STONE PITCHING :- Note: Items not covered below will be measured and paid under relevant items hereinafter.

Material and labour for Boulder pitching, laid dry, hand packed tightly complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates, as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and directed.
