BOQ (REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF MCBs, DBs, GEYSERS ALONGWITH ALLIED E/M WORKS AT AF STN SURATGARH )

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and and not exc. 1.5m depth in soft/loose soil for laying electric cables/pipes etc including getting out excavated earth and trimming the sides and bottoms of trenches, complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick in soil, complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point , complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for sand cushioning to cables with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm depth (punned down to 10 cm depth after laying and stretching of cable), complete all as specificed and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Punned thickness (over all 18 cm) shall be measured & paid.

M&L for brick of common burnt clay, sub class 'B' old size bricks laid flat and dry on cables as in cable protection in trenches over cables perpendicular to direction of cables abutting each other, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F galvanised iron steel tubes, ISI marked light grade of size 40mm bore for cable protection along the poles under road under drains including taking down of old unserviceble pipe, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Boring holes horizontally under road without damaging the surface of road upto one metre below the road surface with the help of GI tubing for passing of UG cable, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- GI Pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking out old unserviceable LT cable from trenches /Wall/ floor etc of size 6 Sqmm to 16 Sqmm 2/3.5/4 core, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (Heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade (earthed) cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core, laid in trenches, through pipe in road crossing, ducts, fixed along poles, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for earthing complete with G I earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm burried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to G I earth strip 4 mm dia G I wire by means of brass bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to main switch board or any other electrical equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, pit cover of precast RCC (1:2:4), type B-1, reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 kg/ Sq.m and MS frame etc. including replacment of old unserviceable earthing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from earth.

S&F Sub-main wiring (concealed ) with two single core 4 sq mm FRLS PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable drawn through including chasing cutting in any type of masonary including 25 mm dia non-metallic PVC conduit fixed in wall including 2.5 sq mm copper earth continuity wire, accessories and connecting to earth dolly, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES :- (a) Two runs of 4 sqmm cable one run of 2.5 sqmm earth wire and one run of PVC conduit 25 mm shall be measured as one length. (b) Cable required for connection to DBs shall be deemed to be included and shall not be measured separately. (c) Earth wire shall run inside the conduit. (d) Extra length of cable required for connection to MCBs shall demed to be included.

(d) Extra length of cable required for connection to MCBs shall demed to be included.

M&L for cutting holes in brick wall to passes the GI pipe 15/20 mm dia and making good distrubed portion with cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggrigate as required complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

S&F Hot & Cold connection pipe, 15 mm dia, 45cm long with chromium plated adopter and washer at both ends including taking out old unserviceable PVC / CP connection, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of heating element spiral / circular type of capacity 2 kW, ISI marked including rubber washer of geyser 50 Litre capacity geyser, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge . Make : ISI Marked as approved by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Heating element shall be providing as per existing geyser.

S&F in replacement of thermostat swtich, ISI marked suitable for 25/50 litre capacity geyser ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F bib taps fancy type chromium plated, 15 mm cast copper alloy with crutch handle or butter fly handle screwed down , screwed for iron pipe and fixed as in repair, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

S&F stop valve 15 mm dia cast copper alloy fancy type chromium plated, screwed down high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions and fixed in repair , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Detecting the leakage from geyser of any capacity and arresting the same by brazing / soldering complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fix in replacement of battery bank cousisting of maintenance free battery 90 AH 12 V - 08 Nos including connecting cooper battery cable along with terminals with suitable battery rack for 8 batteries made of iron alongwith all necessary connections all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge. Make:- Luminous ILST-12042/ Exide /Armour.

Replacement of apparatus plate with nut, bolts, clamps,washer, etc. of geyser suitable for Recold/Ditz make or any other make and any capacity including PRV & NRV system, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F vent pipe using medium grade GI tubing 20 mm dia fixed to wall/ceiling upto level not less than 15 cm from OH tank top level including neceessary fittings, fixtures, clamps, except Tee, complete all as specified and directed.
