| 1 | Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of Retrofit Emission Control Device (RECD) for Diesel Engine generator set of capacity 250 KVA of any make/vintage. Category application :- Reduce particulate matter (PM 2.5), Carbon Monoxide and hydrocarbons emitted from Diesel Engine Technology/ Type :- ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator), Wet Scrubbing, Diesel Oxides Catalyst Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5) Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency (Min) Guaranteed specified Particulate matter (PM 2.5) Carbon Monoxide, Hydrocarbon reduction efficiency Retrofit device is to be installed in place of existing silencer. No soot is to be collected in the retrofit device. The device including enclosure should include an Oxidation chamber and Passive Regeneration Trap complete all as specified and directed. TEST REPORTS Certification :-
Device should be ‘Type Approved’ as per the System and Procedure of Central Pollution Control Board for Emission Compliance Testing of Retro-fit Emission Control Devices (RECD) for Diesel Power Generating Set Engines, Dated 01/02/2022, wide Pollution Control Series PCLS/12/2021-22. Adhering to this, RECD to be ‘Type Tested’ for an equivalent kVA family as per the System and Procedure from any one of the four Central Pollution Control Board, Govt, of India, recognized/approved test agencies/laboratories as given below:
(a) Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI, Pune)
(b) International Centre for Automotive Testing (ICAT, Manesar)
(c) Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP, Dehradun)
(d) Vehicle Research Development Establishment (VRDE, Ahmednagar)
Back Pressure due to the Emission Control retrofit device :-
Maximum back pressure exerted by the Emission Control retrofit device at max prescribed load by DG OEM(as per the capacity of the DG set) should be under limit and display panel to be provided for Back pressure and exhaust temperature limit. General Technical Requirements / Commissioning :-
(a) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operations under any circumstances. The Emission Control retrofit device should be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure 100% of the exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device (RECD).
(b) Anti-Vibration mountings shall be provided for complete Emission Control retrofit device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust.
(c) Emission Control retrofit device should have protection against under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, low battery voltage, over current, earth-fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc.
(d) The Emission Control retrofit device shall be with corrosion resistive and HR paint.
(e) The OEM shall submit the test report of DG set exhaust smoke before installation of RECD and after insallation of Emission Control retrofit device (RECD) as per CPCB norms.
(f) The OEM shall provide the trial run (Testing) of Emission Control retrofit device (RECD). The OEM shall conduct trial run of the Emission Control retrofit device with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for minimum of TWO hours.
Scope of Installation :-
(a) Installation, testing and commissioning of Emission Control Retrofit Device (RECD) is inclusive in the scope of supply and shall be done by the OEM only.
(b) Construction of all suitable civil work, earthing station (if applicable) and necessary connections shall be done by contractor through OEM and no extra payment paid to contractor on this account.
(c) OEM warranty of the RECD is 24 months
(d) Number of preventive maintenance visits offered in a year during warranty period : 2 visits per year and submit the smoke test report in each visit. | 2 | Each Job | - | - |
