Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Tribe reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt., orders as may be modified from time to time.

Any discrepancies observed in the documents uploaded by the tenderer the tender shall liable to rejected.

Earnest Money Deposit will have to be in any one of the forms as per the instructions in the financial bid document and shall have to be valid for 90 days beyond the validity of the tender.

All the formats prescribed in the bid documents shall be filled in complete manner. (section 2 & 3 of the bid document) and shall be uploaded properly, signed by tenderer. Necessary certificates shall be uploaded along with the formats wherever required. General documents section can be used for this purpose.

Tenderers are required to read the Bid Documents carefully before submission of their bid.

If the tenderer quotes bid price below the estimated contract value (Amount put to tender) then the tenderer has to submit the additional security deposit equal to the difference in cost and the additional security deposit should have a validity for the period of execution.

If the numbers of page to be attached in one particular attachment is more, then all the pages can be put into one folder, zipped and then attached or else all the pages can be pasted in one word file and then this word file could be converted to PDF (portable documents format) format and then attached. The Contractor shall strictly take all reasonable steps to protect the environment on and off the site and to avoid damage or nuisance to persons or to property of the public or others resulting from pollution, noise or other causes arising as a consequence of his methods of operation.

Materials like, steel, cement, bitumen etc., required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested positive by the quality control authority before use on the work.

Total value of Civil Engineering Construction works executed in the and payments received in the last five year i.e. , 2020-21 , 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24, 2024-25.

The Defects Liability Period is 1 (one) year from the date of completion of the work including Maintenance.

The Tenderers are bound to furnish the original certified documents to the employer within Three days from the day of opening of technical bid for verification, failing which the bid of tenderer will be considered as technically non responsive.

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer in its name should have in the last five years i.e. (2021-2022 to 2025-2026) d) The Tenderer or his identified sub-contractor should possess required valid electrical license issued by KPWD/ Government electrical Inspectorate and should have executed similar Building electrical works totaling Rs.2.40 Lakhs in any one year.

Work Done Certificate

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer in its name should have in the last five years i.e. (2021-2022 to 2025-2026) e) The Tenderer or his identified sub-contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply/sanitary engineering works issued by BWSSB/ KUWS&DB and should have executed similar building water supply/sanitary engineering works totaling Rs.2.78 Lakhs in any one year.

Capabilities of Vendor

Tenderers who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under Assessed available tender capacity( AXNX2.50- B )where A Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years 2021-22 to 2025-26 (updated to 2026-27 price level) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which tenders are invited. B Value, at 2026-27 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 6 months (period of completion of the works for which Tenders are invited) Note: (1)The statements showing the value of existing commitments and on-going works as well as the Stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the works listed should be countersigned by the Employer in charge, not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalent.(2)Tenderer shall submit the list of Ongoing works duly certified by the Auditor/Chartered Accountant.
