Addition/Alteration of internal and external signages at Kolhapur Airport

Providing and fixing illuminated signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in- Charge Sign face Sign face shall be made in 8mm thick 040 white acrylic (as specified) having graphics pasted in Plotter cut Block out vinyl. The Plotter cut block out vinyl shall match the specified colour (colour Pantone Black 6C) and vinyl for text Pantone yellow C or Cyan 311C as per graphics and of specified make duly approved by the Engineer-in- Charge. Sign Frame: Providing and fixing sign frame 50mm wide Powder coated, colour RAL 9006 aluminium extrusion with inbuilt frame to receive the sign face. The sign face shall be fixed to sign frame with VHB tape in one side and Hook & Loop tape from the other side so as the panel be easily openable for maintenance. Suspender: Providing and fixing Stainless steel 35 x 35mm Hollow sections (assuming typical length of 1 meter) mounted on slabs/beams/walls. Lighting: All internal illumination shall be using LED strip edge Lights of approved make with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots. Cost to include all internal connections and Wiring, terminating and connecting the incoming cable laid by Airport contractor at the site.

Emergency Direction Signs - Illuminated Providing and fixing illuminated emergency signs including all operations from fabrication to installation all complete as per drawings, technical specifications, signage schedule and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in- Charge. Sign face: Sign face shall be made in 5 mm thick 040 having graphics pasted as per design. Sign Box: The sign box 80 mm deep shall be made out of 1.6 mm thick CRCA MS sheet fabricated and provided with same material support channel and ties welded to sign channel. All fabrication shall be done using CNC machines. Sign box shall be provided with openings with frosted glass at bottom and Mesh from inside on top for ventilation. Complete sign box including channel supports are to be powder coated to match RAL9016. Sign box flange receiving the sign face shall be provided with slots to receive the sign face. Lighting: All internal illumination shall be using LED strip edge Lights of approved make with electronic controllers, having even spread and overlaps to avoid banding and dark spots. Cost to include all internal connections and Wiring, terminating and connecting the incoming cable laid by Airport contractor at the site. Accessories: Providing and fixing all accessories such as thimbles, end connectors, nut-inserts, screws , rivets, bolts, washers, nuts, etc. complete as per drawing.

2.6a-2 - Emergency Exit

Providing and fixing Non- Illuminated city side directional outdoor Sign board of size 900mmx450mm including fabrication and incorporation of information and details as per instruction of the Engineer-In-charge. The board shall be made up of 3 mm thick Aluminium sheet and white retro reflective film shall be paste on entire board. The required graphics text/matter shall be transferred on white retroreflective vinyl pasted over edge to edge aluminium sheet. The board shall be fixed on suitable size of pole with foundation and base plate. The structure, facia material, text, fixing arrangement, foundation, base plate etc. shall be as per technical specification. The Approval for shop drawing of board including its fixing arrangement shall have to be obtained from Engineer -in -charge before start of manufacturing

Providing and fixing Non- Illuminated Traffic Statutory Outdoor Sign board, including fabrication and incorporation of information and details as per instruction of the Engineer-In-charge. The board in circular shape of dia 600 mm shall be made up of 3 mm thick Aluminium sheet and white retroreflective film on both sides shall be paste on entire board .The required graphics with text/pictogram shall be pasted over white retro reflective vinyl. The board shall be fixed on suitable size of pole with foundation and base plate. The structure, facia material, text, fixing arrangement,foundation, base plate etc. shall be as per technical specification. The Approval for shop drawing of boardincluding its fixing arrangement shall have to be obtainedfrom Engineer -in -charge before start of manufacturing.

Supply of Facia sign board to be mounted on the fascia of the building. The signboard will be made of micro prismatic type retro reflective sheeting confirming to type IX of ASTM D- 4956, pasted on existing ACP sheet including cleaning the surface etc. as required. The front side is to be covered with micro prismatic retro reflective sheeting with coloured electrocut overlay sheeting as per approved colour scheme etc. as required.
