Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exc 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m and making good surface in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified & as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders, gauge not exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for brick work with old size sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for mild steel work such as flat iron, etc as in wind ties for roof covering including securing bolts etc. including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc and similar work conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) all as specified and as directed.

S&F mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5 cm but not exc 10cm long and dia of neck 5 to 10 mm complete all as specified.

S&F mild steel framed work using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I.S 1161-1979 Grade St-240 including necessary welding, bolting, special shaped washer, clamps, cleats etc. complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws or ‘L’ type or ‘J’ type or cranked hooks bolts complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Colour of sheet shall be as approved by the GE.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in flooring, finished even and smooth using extra cement, complete, all as specified & directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished fair & even without using extra cement complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of new untreated steel and iron surfaces of any description, not exc. 10 cm in width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of underground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Supplying and laying factory made, un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class LV, Type 1, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm, laid as cable protection cover in trenches, complete all as specified & as directed.

(j) Contactor 3 Pole 63 Amps 415 Volts (Type ML) – 04 Nos (k) Contactor 3 Pole 32 Amps 415 Volts (Type ML) – 06 Nos (l) Microprocessor based Intelligent Power Factor Controller (IPFC) Relay suitable for Manual/automatic operation with 12 relay output and one alarm relay, supply voltage 230 volts and inter phase menu driven display of various parameters (Cap Banks Status, PF, KW, KVAr, KVA, Voltage, Current, Frequency, Temperature & Target PF) and storage of various values and test run options and accessories for grid current measuring module for current measurement of inherent current of capacitor bank and remote indicator – 01 No Note : (i) Panel shall be fixed on platform with PCC (1:4:8), type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate 15cm thick in foundation, brick masonry in CM (1:6) and 15mm thick rendering in CM (1:6) on exposed surfaces and 100mm thick PCC padding in PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 on top and grouting bolts etc for panel. Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 70 sqmm 3.5 core laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits, cable route indicator and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Shifting of DG Set of capacity upto 100KVA from existing location to new location (Approx 8km distance) including disconnecting of all electric connection and installing on new location with necessary fixing arrangement including connecting, commissioning and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) All T&P/Vehicle required for shifting, connection, loading, unloading, etc including necessary petty items like bolts, nuts etc shall be arranged by contractor and rates for the same shall deemed to be included in rate quoted. (ii) If transformer or any connected equipment/part is lost or damaged while shifting, the same shall be provided / repaired by the contractor at his own cost complete to the entire satisfaction of GE.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 80mm bore medimum grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 50mm bore medimum grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for Earthing to Transformer / GOD switch / equipments / panels etc with & including galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides, connected to & including galvanized mild steel strip 32x6 mm as earth lead, including nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel and riveted/welded to earth plate at one end and other end of strip connected to transformer / GOD / Panel / equipment body / test point with two Nos nuts bolts or welding with steel structure, GI earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from upper edges of earth plate upto 7.5 metre above ground level fixed with and including 25x3mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from earth pit to top of electrode and including funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs etc complete with earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and 40mm thick RCC (1:2:4 type B1) cover complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed. Note : PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.
